They have been absolutely terrible!!! My yard looks worse now than when I hired them 6 months ago. I've had it with them. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU JUST FEEL LIKE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY. OK but I grossly overpaid and the replacement system doesn’t perform as well as the old one. Mostly my fault for listening gullibly to their salesman and not getting more eatimates.

This was, by far, the most organized, stress-LESS process I have ever been involved in! They did EVERYTHING for us meaning set up all appointments for follow up check ups, set up our rebate with CPS Energy so we didn't have to, they even went as far as sending us ALL of our contract documents, warranty documents, FAQ's, and information on what to do if there is a problem...all of this was in an organized folder that was sent to us in the mail. That is just speaking about the admin aspect...the gentlemen that came out to give us a quote and then those that performed the actual installation were so professional, friendly, and patient! I am so impressed with this company that I am currently using them as my plumber, my pest control, and general handyman/contractor type company. Love them!!

Professional sales team that spend more time and effort educating rather than selling. Was able to get me in next day for a new unit at a competitive price through Costco. All the employees were knowledgeable and friendly from the Techs that did the install, the managers, QA/QC, and office staff. They did such a great job I recommended them to my father where he purchased a new unit from them as well.

I have ABC perform maintenance on my AC twice a year. My AC is only 2 years old. On Sunday 25 August, the AC stopped working at 8PM. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the ABC Tech in getting to my home within 30 min on a Sunday evening. The reason my AC went out was that the drain line needed to be drained. I was charged $158 and the AC is now working. My only complaint about ABC is that I just had my semi-annual maintenance performed on my AC system 90 days prior to my system going out. During that annual maintenance, my drain line was not drained. This is something that should be done as part of a semi annual service. I called ABC after this repair and asked that they include that service as part of my semi annual service in the future and they agreed. Had they done this 90 days ago, my AC may not have gone out. To recap, great response time on a weekend but disappointed that semi Annual service did not include draining line until I specifically requested it.

The technician was polite and punctual.The outdoor surfaces do look good. However the bleaching agent he recommended did kill a few plants, nothing major. He used different equipment than the standard pressure washer and it was much more expensive.

Went quickly. I have used TEX-PERTS for years for repairs and seasonal check ups. They have always provided excellent service with friendly, respectful, knowledgeable technicians.

We didn't mention that the air had been struggling, just that we wanted a tune up. They did that, and then asked if we'd been struggling to keep it cool, and showed us photos of their findings - the coil was in clear need of repair. No pressure to do it through them, but did give us a price and timeline if we wanted to move forward. We called a day later to confirm, and within 3 days the work was completed and the air conditioner is working better than ever!

I requested and scheduled an appointment for an estimate on a new HVAC install. Prior to the appointment, we received a call from the company changing the appointment to an hour earlier, which I had no problem with. About a half-hour before the scheduled appointment, I received a voice mail with several questions about the residence, although clearly the rep had no idea where the house was located. I called the rep, at which time he had several more questions, but also stated he would not be able to make the appointment until 3-5 hours past the scheduled appointment time. When I told him I was unable to meet at that time, he said he would come by even though we were not there to look at the house. For me, this was unacceptable, and I cancelled the appointment, at which time the rep said fine. I have done business with many customer service oriented businesses over the years, but do not think I have ever dealt with a business so cavalier to customer acquisition; I guess business must be pretty good. I am not sure why a company could present a quote based on a site survey without taking the time to sit down with the customer. I did call the main office to voice my dissatisfaction, which is the one positive comment I can make about the company. The call was handled very professionally and the individual was very apologetic. However, perhaps I dodged a bullet with this company if this engagement is any indication of the level of service that would have followed. I would not recommend this business, and would caution any perspective customer to carefully review the negative comments.

We thought it was fine until we had another quote for a second AC and the guy pointed out all of the areas that Tex Perts did not install to code and one was a non-replaced breaker. Well, our AC started popping the breaker outside. We called them, had them out, Robert was extremely rude and condescending to my wife, basically making fun of her lack of industry parlance and acting like he had no idea what she was talking about, and then refused to do any work. Do not use these guys, they cut corners and do not stand behind their work. We hired another AC company that installed to code and were very professional. Never again will I use them. Now I need to call an electrician to solve their poor installation (Mis-sized breaker for the HVAC they installed).

This was just for basic AC maintenance. Although the company provided a 3-hr time window for the service, they called when the worker was on his way so I didn't necessarily have to sit at home for 3 hours waiting. Worker was polite, punctual and professional. He wore booties over his shoes so as to keep my carpet clean. He got the work done in a timely manner. Would definitely hire again.

The technician identified the problem quickly and resolved the issue after I approved the fix. The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. I've always had excellent service with Tex Perts. The technician also gave me some helpful advice and made some suggestions to prevent the issue from happening again. Outstanding service!

The t cynicism who came out for the emergency repair was great.

In 2010 we were advised by Tex-Perts that we needed a new A/C-heating unit. They recommended the York unit that we purchased and so began the nightmares. For the past seven years we’ve had nothing but problems with it. Either the heat doesn’t work, or the air doesn’t work, or neither work. A season isn’t complete without a malfunction of our unit. Our frustration culminated three years ago when we went the entire winter on “emergency heat” while supposedly waiting for a part. After many inquiries, Tex-Perts finally admitted that they no longer are an authorized dealer/seller of York products. They do not have support from York and parts acquisition is difficult. We have no quarrel with the service people who have attempted to remedy the problems with our unit. We do, however, take issue with the management and owners. They evade our calls and, on the rare occasion we do speak with them, we get the same line, they are trying to “fix our problem.” There is no fix here – it is time to REPLACE THIS LEMON. This past November, the owner, Craig, finally returned a call (one of many) and, after feigning ignorance of my many attempts to contact him, stated that they’re trying to replace our unit. Now it is January and we’re still waiting. Our emergency heat does not work well enough to warm the house in the current cold spell. This is like an unfunny version of the movie Groundhog Day. We’re deep into the 2017-18 heating season and remain on “emergency heat.” When I tried to contact Craig on January 3, I discovered his phone wasn’t working. When I called the office, I was told he was unavailable and that he would call me back. I’m still waiting. The measure of a business is how it responds to the difficult issues. In this regard, I give Tex-Perts low marks. If I had to craft a new slogan for them, it would be: “Tex-Perts: Our Products Cool in the Winter and Heat in the Summer!”

Technician was on time, polite, efficient, thorough and did an awesome job. We love Tex Perts and have used them for 3 years. When we have a problem they are quick to respond and prices are very reasonable.

Chris called and was at their home at 8:30 am on a Sunday morning. He was polite and professional. He found the problem quickly and had all the necessary parts to fix it. Also, they do not charge an extra fee for emergency off business hours calls. The price was quite reasonable. My husband and I were pleased with how well our interaction went.

They took my $ and told me everything looked great. No repairs or anything were required. A couple months down the road, my AC unit froze up. I hired a new contractor to assess the unit. I was told that there was a great deal of rust, corrosion, and frion leaks in the inside unit and an oil leak on the outside unit. I ended up having to pay $10,000 for an entirely new unit. I find it hard to believe that my unit went from looking, "great" (as TexPerts claimed) to needing a full replacement in only a couple month's time. My suspicion is that they missed some very important clues that the unit was having some issues. It would have been nice if they had told me about it in time for me to do something about it before things got so bad that I needed an entirely new unit.
