RECEIVED CALL FROM OFFICE WHEN SERVICE REP WOULD BE ARRIVING. 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ARRIVAL RECEIVED CALL FROM ACTUAL SERVICE REP. AS SOON AS SERVICE REP ARRIVED HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WOULD BE DOING\. PROCEEDED TO PUT ON BOOTIES BEFORE GOING UPSTAIRS TO ATTIC. INSPECTED & SERVICED AIR HANDLING UNIT, DRAIN LINE AND ALL ITEMS ON CHECK LIST. (COPY OF ALL WORK PERFORMED LEFT WITH HOME OWNER. THERE WERE NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES, SERVICE REP EXPLAINED TO HOME OWNER THAT ONE UNIT WAS RUNNING AT MAX CAPACITY AND WOULD NEED TO BE CHANGED OUT IN THE FUTURE. I WAS IMPRESSED BY THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING, HE SIMPLY MADE ME AWARE OF SOMETHING THAT WE WERE ALREADY AWARE OF SINCE THAT UNIT IS 18 YEARS OLD. WE PLAN TO USE THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL OUR NEW UNIT PROBABLY AT THE END OF SUMMER OR SOONER IF NECESSARY PRIOR TO LEAVING WE SAT DOWN AND HE EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT HE HAD DONE (AS PER ITEMS ON CHECK LIST) THE YOUNG MAN WAS POLITE, COURTEOUS AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. IT IS A BLESSING THAT THERE ARE STILL GOOD HONEST COMPANIES OUT THERE. THIS IS THE REASON WE PLAN TO USE TEX-PERTS FOR FUTURE SERVICING AND THE INSTALLATION OF NEW UNIT IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

They inspected the outdoor a/c unit and indoor parts of the system--measured the effectiveness of cooling inside the home and replaced a bit of refrigerant as needed. They also gave a recommendation on how to install a p-trap on our own so we wouldn't have to call a plumber--I was very grateful for that bit of advice!

did not ry to sell me an expensive new units and i am all sets now for few more years hopefully; went gracefully 45 miles away to my country farm house with no surcharge. i will use them when needed to upgrade!happy to no be stuck with the only ripp off choice in my small country town.

Came out on time and checked the system health. They were very friendly. They did upsell us on a package that included two health checks and we purchased it because we were happy with the experience. All in all great service.

Went OK, Company re-scheduled due to low weather temperatures. A little frustrating as I took the day off, but end result was still the same. Appreciate their service.

Failed to mention they required access to the attic upon making appointment. Had to move Christmas decorations in a hurry. Did not add the pound of coolant that was part of the deal even when asked about it. Had to hire another AC guy to come out and spent $210 the very next month due to AC not cooling properly. They had to add 7 lbs of coolant at that time due to a leak that some how was missed by the this company. The AC has been working great since the second company came out.

He arrived on time and immediately got started. he went up in the attic and did the inspection and tune up of that unit then continued on the unit outside. When he was finished we went over his findings. He was very thorough and provided insight on ways to help lower my electric bill. Overall it went great.

They were supposed to get back to me with possible solutions and costs. Still waiting. I had the feeling that they were interested in selling me a high end spendy unit and when I asked about less expensive options, he lost interest. Found a better deal with better service.

The technician was punctual and courteous. Overall a quick and easy, yet thorough transaction.

Very professional. Did not try to sell anything. Will use company when I need to replace unit.

I had to ask the employee to come and do services on the list that he didn't do. He was sitting in his van about to leave. He tried talking me into making a purchase for a part I'm not certain I needed. He made an excuse about why he couldn't do a couple things on the purchase list.

Very professional. Found Freon leak, which eluded my prior service company.

I was glad they didn't pretend like I needed a treatment. Very courteous young man did inspection.

Serviced by Juan who was prompt, on time and courteous. My main goal from this service was to get an idea of what was necessary for my old AC unit to be useful or if I needed to buy a new one or switch to window units. Juan confirmed my suspicion that I need new ducts and advised that if I spent the money on the ducts that I might want a new unit as mine was at close to 150% the average lifespan and could possibly die any day even though the unit is working ok now. We went over the options and he explained everything to my satisfaction. The one area that keeps my rating from being excellent, is that we did not review the spring check work that he did. Reading the service later I saw the notation that my filter needed replacing, which made me remember that the service description mentioned replacing filters if a new one was available, which had prompted me to buy a filter to have available. I must now replace the filter myself. Minor issue, but the difference between "good" and "excellent".

I bought 2 of their specials offered through Angie's list (1 for home and 1 for my rental that I was going to be selling). The home visit came first and was just fine as far as I can tell. The rental didn't go as well. The person who came to do the work told me about a noise with attic a/c. I don't recall exactly the piece of equipment he mentioned but he did give me the name of the item he thought might be starting to go out. It so happens that within a week of the service tune-up I had an offer on the home and the home inspector the buyer used noted the noise with a/c in his report. As this was only major item in the report the buyer wanted it fixed/replaced to get rid of the noise. I called the Tex-pert's serviceman who did the work and left a voicemail for him to call me back. I never heard back from him. As the A/c noise was only thing holding up sale of home I called another company to come work on the unit and they came very next day. After opening up the unit in the attic they said the cause of noise was foam that had come loose and the fan was hitting on it. They cut off the foam and I was out $89 extra for something that if the Tex-perts guy had opened the unit in the attic could have been taken care of and they would have been my a/c company going forward. As it is now to me it seems like they offer great deals but maybe aren't that thorough with the work they provide with those deals.

It went very well I am very happy with the work that they did. I have used them before and I would certainly use them again.

We appreciated that they came out on a Saturday early evening to determine why the ac wasn't cooling very well. The amount they charged for the call seemed somewhat high since no freon or other parts were supplied by the tech. My son purchased a new ac filter while the unit was thawing out.

Craig did the design and supervised the installation. We got 3 bids and his was not the lowest but his design was the absolute best. We've been living with the system for a couple of months and, because of the zoning design, we are able to keep cool and have an acceptable electric bill. The work was done very well and the one or two problems that came up were immediately corrected at no additional cost. I can recommend this company without any hesitation.

I used them through a big deal on Angie’s List. They were very good and I had no complaints about them. I would use them again in the future.

Overall, I can't complain as Texperts came and did what they needed to do when we were in a desperate situation; our two year old air conditioner had gone out the night before in a two year old home in more than 100 degree daytime heat. With a 12 month old infant in a house at 90 degrees, we were in bad shape. I called Texperts at 9 AM, and they promised to have a technician from 12-3 at my home. The technician (I can't recall his name did a terrific job and educated me on the problem and the part that failed; he fixed it within 20 minutes. I was very pleased with this and that he got our air conditioner working. This is why I would give Texperts a very good evaluation overall. I can't comment on the price; for the work that was done, what I paid seems like a lot, but I have no basis on which to judge. I had no choice but to pay this. Whether it's your car, an appliance or other issue with your home, especially if someone has to come to the home to fix it, you are going to face a high cost in many cases that's in the hundreds of dollars. I have no reason to say this was too much or too little; they did not charge me for the service call. I appreciate the fact that these businesses have certain operating costs, and I'm confident they also have a business model that makes plenty of money to fix something to insure they can stay in business. The customer must be aware of this and plan for it as you might need to dip into your savings or other funds unexpectedly to take care of these situations. I did not give punctuality a high grade.. Texperts promised to get someone to my home between 12 and 3. The technician did not show until nearly 4 PM. I understand he had a job in another area of town that ran late. While this is understandable and they called me at 3:20 to tell me this, I had to take an entire half day off work waiting for someone to come. Understandably, I just need to accept that, but with limited time off, if they could have stayed in contact with me, I might have only had to take an hour or two off work. I will accept and take blame for this as I should have planned better and worked this out (a call 30 minutes before. It's a lesson learned; whether I'm justified or not, that' why I gave the rating I did in the punctuality category. Shame on me for not doing a better job and sitting around for hours. This was the most frustrating part of all. Yes, I would hire them again. Yes, they got the job done. Of course, I would rather not have my air conditioner break as you don't want to find yourself needing this type of service. It's going to cost you.

I got the referral from a friend who used them for her air conditioner. They came in and fixed the air conditioner and it works fine. I really thought I was going to have it replaced. I don't know anything about air conditioners except turning them on and changing the filters and that's about it. I've had my air conditioner replaced when I bought this house 13 years ago and I thought it was about time to replace it again. But it just needed repairing and the guy fixed a couple of things that were going to go bad on it. He said that something was leaking oil and he repaired that and repaired something else and he said I was good to go. It has been working fine ever since.

They were very good. They had suggestions for me. I felt like I could trust him. He offered some things that the next time I call him back that I could expect them to have to do. He is a very good businessman. He went above and beyond. He even made a point to drive around the neighborhood to see how many other people had already replaced their unit which he said that quite a few had. Mine is thirteen going on to fourteen years old already. So, I thought that was good information to know without even having to ask. The $49 was definitely worth it. I would call him again.

System not checked/serviced in over six years. Service man showed up as scheduled, clean and courteous and careful not to track mud inside since if finally just rained. Checked system, blew out drain line, cleaned filter and condenser coils and added Freon. Found capacitor on compressor weak and replaced. $254 seems a bit high and I will have to check another supplier. If capacitor price is reasonable I will use them again if not then I will report back.
