Could swear I submitted months ago but perhaps not. Truth be told, I don't recall what my issue or maintenance was. I do recall I was very impressed and plan to use them again.

I have never used this company before but I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Edgar Garcia asked if I knew how the furnace worked and then took the time to explain the workings. He also explained every step of his maintenance service and made recommendations about my Carbon Monoxide alarms and where extra should be located. This gentleman was knowledgeable and "talked at my level." I was really happy with the service and am strongly considering an annual contract with this company.

Vendor sent out a punctual and polite technician. I am now semi-retired, so I love observing in order to learn when tradesmen use their expertise on my property. The tech was very cool with my observer status and went out of his way to explain the thorough safety inspection and why certain items were so important. It was great! Outstanding from start to finish! I received a message within the time I was told and sent a response requesting that they call me to schedule an appointment. TEX-PERTS Cooling and Heating called me soon after and we scheduled an appointment for 15 January 2014. Due to my work commitments, I requested that I have as a late appointment as possible and the scheduler was very helpful and accommodating. The day of the appointment, they called me in the morning to confirm. Juan, the technician, arrived on time and was very courteous, professional, polite and knowledgeable. He introduced himself and asked me a few questions regarding my system and then started the inpection/ Fall check. When he was finished, he explained to me the results of the inspection/Fall check. Everything was in great working order. He did not try to "sell" any additional services / products, etc...that were not needed or wanted. This was refreshing. I also had some questions about my thermostat system and my gas fireplace. He took the time to answer my questions, showed me what I needed to do regarding my fireplace and even made some very helpful suggestions for ensuring heating efficiency within my home. Great service and experience overall! I would definitely hire this service provider again.

I bought 2 Angie's List Big Deals because I had 2 units but I didn't pay more than the Big Deal price. They were great! They come when they say they are going to come and they don't try to do things that you don't need so I think that is really good. The work is good. We don't have any trouble. I'll definitely use them again in the future.

Great! We have been very happy withTEX-PERTS in the past and were pleased with their service this time as well. We were getting ready to put our house on the market and wanted to make sure everything was running smoothly. Our technician even gave me some tips for when the inspector came to look at the house.

I am giving this a "middle of the road" evaluation because I don't trust what the technician told me. He said I needed a new unit (AC, heater, evaporator) because the return line on the condenser was freezing up. He didn't adequately explain the cause of the problem. Since that time I have learned that I MIGHT need a new evaporator or might need to have the evaporator cleaned. That is far different than needing a whole new system. I was not comfortable with the diagnosis provided.

They were punctual and efficient. The scheduling was fine. The technician was fine.

I think it must have gone well--I don't remember otherwise! I just got a reminder that I'd never done a review for this service but it's been so long ago now that I don't remember any details--sorry!

It was good. The scheduling was good and we had no problems. The technician was good. They also did honor the discount for being an a Angie’s List member.

The company called right away for an appointment and was very professional and friendly. The guy that came out was on time, very professional and friendly, and performed the needed work on the furnace. He gave us a lot of tips and suggestions on how to care for the unit. He was great, and the overall experience was great, and a good price! Will definitely use this company again in the future.

I purchased the 'Angie's List BIG DEAL' 22 point furnace inspection offered by TEX-PERTS and I am very happy that I did. There was a bit of a communication failure on the scheduling end (was told a request for the earliest arrival possible which would be 730a would be made and it wasn't; was also told I would receive a confirmation call & didn't). Overall I was very inpressed with the technician, Juan, and his ability to explain what he did and why he did it. Juan also took consideration that my house is on the market and did a few extra things to make the whole furnace area more presentable to future home inspectors. He wrote everything down and answered all of my questions, showing me what he did or explaining in detail what was done. There was no overselling AT ALL which I was very appreciative of. TEX-PERTS will be at the top of my list for any future service related issues on any components they handle.

Our heating system unexpectedly stopped working during the evening. The unit would not respond to the thermostat. The next morning I called Tex-Perts about 9AM. They said that their man would be out later in the day, which was fine with me since we had a dual system. The house was not cold. The Tex-Pert repair man arrived before noon. He introduced himself then took a few minutes to put on booties over his shoes. I had rained and I guess he had concern about bring in mud. That was a nice introductory touch. He then explained how the Angie?s List coupon works and asked me to explain our problem. I did so then led him to heating system. The repair man worked for about a half hour then reported that he couldn?t make the system fail. He found several things that might potentially cause the problem, but none seemed to be the immediate cause. He said that he wouldn?t recommend replacing anything at the time and to call CPS (power company) to run a diagnostic on the thermostat. CPS had installed computer controlled thermostats a few months previously and that they had been know to cause similar non-heating problems. With the Angie?s List coupon the service call was very reasonable. That was the only cost for the work performed. I was pleased with the prompt service, the professional inspection, and the detailed description of what was done.

The tech, Andy, said he could not light the heater because of a bad gas valve. He gave a written estimate for the repair at $1,425.00. I checked the retail price of the part and it was $150.00. I complained about the price and he said, "Don't shoot the messenger. I don't make the prices." He left without cleaning the unit. I called the company and could not contact a manager. Later that day the owner, Craig, called me. I asked him how he could justify charging $1,425 to install a $150 part.. He said the price was the "book" price and he would now lower it. He said he would return my money by sending a check the following day. I never received a check. I bought the gas valve on ebay for $55. I hired another licensed HVAC company to install it for $275.00 and clean the unit. It took about an hour to install. The furnace works perfectly and the house is warm: $330 final cost versus $1,425 with Tex-Perts plus the $55 service call. I was lied to and outrageously overpriced by Craig, the owner of TEX-PERTS. I trusted the positive reviews and got burned.

We were moving and had the inspector come out to make sure everything was good. They were thorough and informative.

Company was on time, rep was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a good job. Would use them again.

Good service, but coupon is for only one unit, we have two so unexpected added cost.
