The service went well. They did exactly what the deal stated. The staff made a few repairs. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about an hour. They did a good job. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I always wait 90 days or so before providing review. Owner came out and provided me an evaluation of my 18yr old system. Made suggestions, provided options and gave me estimate. Contacted company and scheduled replacement. Crew arrived on-time and completed replacement/installation as agreed. In my opinion, Tex-Perts is not a discount company. They know what they do is well above the industry "average", both in products and service. The manner in which they covered every detail, like placement of new pad for unit outside, cleaning and sealing of inside unit closet, sealing of all vent connections in attic. Seriously, I have used many service providers in the past 30 years, including AC companies. The way this company and employees conduct their business is to the highest degree of professionalism and exceeded all my expectations. I had received two estimates that were well below what Tex-Perts quoted. My intuition, and some reviews on Angie's list, steered me to Tex-Perts. This is one case where you will get what you pay for, and for myself, will not regret the decision.

The service person came on time, and called first. Punctuality is always appreciated! Very nice to talk with. He explained everything that he was doing, and what the status was on everything that was checked. We are very happy with Tex-Perts.

Scheduling was excellent and they were available when I needed . The technician was very professional, worked very efficiently and cleaned the unit. It didn’t take long to complete the work.

We have two A/C units for our home and with the brutal Texas heat we wanted to ensure they were performing as they should. Tex-Perts was having a special on this service and I had met the owner of Tex-Perts several years ago and felt comfortable using them. They also had a good rating with Angie's List so we purchased the special. The technician came out when he said he would and performed the inspection of both units and added a little freon. He was professional, courteous and very timely. I would recommend Tex-Perts to anyone needing an A/C tuneup or repair.

They arrived as planned and performed all services as requested. Additional items were very low cost and took the time to explain everything. We are so please with the service and attention given to my wife and son to insure they understood what findings were and why replacement or repair was required. We signed up for a maintenance for servicing 2 times per year also. Thanks for a job well done.

Edgar came as scheduled and evaluated the problem and explained that my unit is more than 16 years old and that in the very near future, it would give out. But in the mean time, he said that adding coolant would provide me some relief from this 102 degree weather. He added 3 pounds of coolant and stated that since I was a member of Angie's List, there was a discount of $30. per pound. House is now cool and very comfortable. Thanks Edgar and Tex-Perts for coming out on such short notice especially since everyone else had said that the earliest that they could come was Monday, meaning that I would have to endure the weekend without a/c. Not good at all!!!

It was a very hot day and the repairman had to do most of his work up in the attic. Our has 2 entry points to the part of the attic where the units are located and they are not easy to access. During his check up he replaced the filters on both units. We had just moved into the house and were not aware that the filters had not been replaced in a very long time. He brought down the old filters and recommended an internet site where we could special order them due to their unusual size (23 1/2 x 21 x 5). One of the reasons that we had requested for this service to be performed was that we had water coming out of the overflow pipes on the side of the house. The repairman was able to clean out the drain pipe that had backed up due to rust. He gave us sound advice on the remaining life of the 2 units and how to plan to replace them in the future. The repairman was friendly, prompt, and very helpful. The outcome of the checkup was more than worth the amount paid for the service. We will use TEX-PERTS again should we ever need cooling or heating services.

Fine. They contacted me by post card and e-mail as to the date and time of service. They met those dates and times.

They did a very very thorough job. They made some recommendations to do and save money. I would hire them back in a heartbeat.

They arrived on time, checked out inside and outside units and answered our questions. They made suggestions to improve the quality of output and didn't try to upsell us anything.

Appointment was for a 30 minute window from 9:00 to 9:30. We were called at 8:30 confirming that the time would work for us and to let us know that Juan would be there during the agreed upon time. He showed on time and started the Tune-up. We discuss some issues that had been found in the past but agreed that what we had done would continue to work as long as the unit was still working (16 year old Trane). Serviced the external unit found it to be in good working condition. Also found dirty coils which he cleaned. We had lots of discuss regarding replacement strategies in the future. I learn a lot and there was absolutely no pressure to do anything at this time. When the time comes to replace, TEX-PERTS will be on my list of bidders. Great Job!

Our ac went out while my wife was home recovering from surgery. We called to have them come check and see what the problem was and they found a leak in the coil. He let us know that he could fix it but with the age of our system it would not be cost effective. We decided that we would replace the whole system but we needed to finance the project. The person we needed to talk to was in a meeting but he reached out to us at about 6pm which was clearly after their office hours. It was nice to know that even that late, they were still thinking customer first. We sorted out the financing, and the crew was scheduled to come out the very next day which was nice as the temperature had been around the triple digit mark so a long wait for service was not going to work. The project was completed in about 4 hours. The guys who did the job were cool guys, they got right to work, and really seemed to know their stuff. They showed us how everything worked and were on their way. Very satisfied with everything and would definitely recommend them.

Felt 1st visit was a typical sales job (bai and switch) and signed 1 year service contract. On later call, George (supervisor) had company take care of the problem with new ducting at a reasonable price.

AWFUL!!!!. They misdiagnosed the problem on several visits (I had to take off work to be there each time) and finally quoted us an outrageous price for furnace replacement. I complained at the top and was firmly advised price was correct and discounted per their ad on Angie's List. Cancelled work and went elsewhere at much lower price and had an excellent experience. Be careful if you use these folks, as they appear to be in it just for the big money. Hard to do, but always getting 2 or 3 quotes is advisable unless you know the technical details well. P.S.-You can find furnaces on the internet to get a budget idea. I think our problem could have been corrected at little cost if it had been properly diagnosed, but am pleased with our new furnace (other was old anyway).

The guy took a real long time and then he tried to over sell. We weren't too happy with him. Well all they did was check the system. It was fine I guess.

Started off a little rough, because when he walked in, the first thing he asked was how many AC units I have for my house. I said one for upstairs, one for downstairs. He said, well, I'm going to have to charge you for another $49 coupon, because the coupon is only good for one unit. I failed to note this in the ad, so it was completely on me, but the immediacy and bluntness of that being the first words out of his mouth after walking into my house had me a little concerned. Everything he did after that was fantastic. He blew out the drain on one unit that has occasionally been leaking out the backup drain, he thoroughly checked my system both inside and outside, and he cleaned the inside of the units. He also added over a pound of coolant to one unit, and it has performed much better since then. I will use these guys again, and I'll make SURE I read the details of any future offers I purchase. This one was well worth it, despite my own careless reading!

The service technician was late. Not a big deal as I was already home. He performed the service with haste and professionalism. He told me the issues (which were rectified by the service) I good experience.

I think they saved us from a potential fire. The service tech was super courteous and informative. he found a faulty circuit that was arcing and could have caused a fire. He quickly diagnosed the problems and fixed our system. He didn't try to sell me more than I needed. I appreciate that kind of service and because of that I will definitely use them in the future!

In representing a client on a real estate transaction, a 2nd opinion was needed as to the health of an AC system. Tex-Perts was very prompt and came out the same day I called them. They ended up saving the deal by being very helpful in alleviating my client's concerns with the AC system. The technician, Edgar, was very friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. The schedulers at the main phone number were very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I was glad that I had the ability to find them on Angie's List and get them out on such short notice. I had a good experience with them except I thought they overcharged me. They were real responsive and got out the same day. They called and they were very courteous and helpful. He got out and diagnosed the problem and told me that it was going to be $625. He said that would give me 2 free service calls and the part and he said he would throw in a pound of freon, which he didn't do. I did some casual research online and the part was $300. His price seemed like a lot but I had to get it done because this is Texas and it is hot. I did call the main office and they said that it was the book price. It works. They were really responsive. I'm not sure if I would use them again but I might get a quote from them.

I bought one of their spring air conditioning tune up packages for $49. I scheduled that, whenever that was. They came out and did great work on it. They were very prompt. They provided same day service and were very friendly. They provided good quality work at a reasonable price. I thought they were a little expensive for what they did.
