Guys were great !! Called office to schedule as we were short on time for closing on house. Talked to Juan about our situation and was able to get a tech out within 48hrs. Day of service Joe G. came to the house and was pleasant to meet. He was ready to start right away. We walked through home to see where to start. Service was done within an hour. Would definitely use these guys again...thanks for the quick professional service!! JT W.

The first clue something was wrong they sent one man to install a five ton unit and he was wearing a Tshirt that said freash air systems. Now this guy did not present identification that he was an hvac tech or that he was I guess working under the table for tex perts which is not even texperts. the company is Craig Tuffelmire, LLC and that of course means you cannot sue them and they assume business names which they can change the words on and simply go out of business every year and assume another subsidiary dba next year with a similar name but not the same company. Now I asked for my ten year labor documentation for weeks and I was never provided. I was later told that OH it was not included in my pricing even though it and other things left out were marked on my proposal sheet. long story short they sent one man that was a tech free lancing and he was gone four and half hours during the day working two other jobs. he arrives back at my house and rushes through his just managing to finish his work at 930pm. now he had not pulled a permit for the job , had NONE of the paperwork, had not completed work on the job and the work he did do cause an estimated $3600.00 to repair by another dealer. He destroyed supporting studs in my house, cut the thermostat line, failed to install the correct thermostat, destroyed the plenum and air ducts in the attic so cold air was blowing right into the attic, his drain pan sloped backward so it held almost an each of water before it reached its drain, return duct vents were added which were just cut out of sheet rock and screwed into the sheet rock and quickly fell on the floor. the unit itself he had about 15 minutes to hook up the condenser Freon lines and settings at night since it was too dark already and he completely made a mess of the settings on the air handler and condenser as to them being able to work properly. I called the owner several times to complain about a ridiculous drain pan sticking ten inches up in the air sitting on just two cinder blocks and blocking most of my return air flow. I got not response to many phones calls that day. I had to buy a 1000 lbs of concrete to do their work for them and make a pad to put the condenser on . the concrete slab, wifi thermostat, checking the lines in the attic was not done. Making a mess of the install was done . At 930 the tech hands me a work order that was not even for me and tells me to PAY IT. of course I refused to pay since they had no work permit, the tech that installed it did thousands of dolllars of damage to my house. He removed the air handler by simply playing superman and twisting it and tearing it out of the closet it was in and destroyed most of the ductwork in the attic above it. the tech did the same thing with the outside condenser pushing it over and pulling two bolts that held it down out of the concrete leaving two holes on my back patio. NOW I did not get my ten year labor warranty which was supposed to available and is usually present the same day of the work although the labor warranty goes into effect 90 days later the contract should be provided at the install date. Nothing was provided . NONE of the paperwork was there and no permit had even been taken out to do the install. I never noticed any Freon recovery unit hooked up but only a vacuum pump draining air out into thin air. Maybe I missed that when I had to go to home depot to pick up a 1000 pounds of concrete blocks to make a level pad to sit the unit on since they did not arrive with a concrete pad but this plastic thing. Pictures of their work make all of it look like a child did it. a drain pan on two cinder blocks, a double z drain line, the top of the unit only had tape holding the top of closet together from the attic and the plenum they destroyed but just taped it to death and put a half inch of caulk all around it to fill in the half inch of space over that air handler that had no ductwork of any kind and was held together with a bunch of tape and caulk. When I went into the attic I found eight inch air duct lines that had been pulled out of the plenum box and cold air was simply blowing into the attic and there was areas of completely exposed vapor condenser line just sweating away Since the one man job did not have time to check anything in the attic or fix any of the other problems he caused.. I later got estimates on how much it would cost to fix his damages and repair the unit. The estimates to repair the unit were over three thousand dollars. NOW fortunately he had not done the work he said he was going to do , he had no permit even pulled to install the unit, and he had none of the paperwork for my unit. Of course I could not pay for a bill the tech did NOT even have. The next morning before he even had a permit or any of the paperwork in order, I started getting irate phone calls from this thug who said he was busting down my door, tearing out his unit, and going to have me arrested which he tried to do. I was not in town the next day but I told him I would meet with him to go over things done wrong and what needed to be done but he only continued ranting on in a very argumentative series of phone calls. He rambled around to various neighbors trying to ask them where I worked and telling everyone around me that I had stolen an ac unit from him. My girlfriend who he threatened to push over and barge into the house was witness to all of this and feared for her life when he was barking at her at the front door and saying he was coming in to tear out his unit even though he still had no paperwork , had not completed his work, and had done a great deal of damage in what he had done already. I had to call 911 from out of town and be transferred to get the police to the house to protect her. I told this crook new jersey thug mobster type guy that I would meet with him to discuss things and let him inspect the house with the police on stand by to protect me and my property the day after the install after I would get back in town at 7p.m. He had already lied to the police about not talking to the neighbors and a bunch of made up mumbo jumbo about what he claimed was done and he knew all of that was a lie so he arrived early at 6pm with the police telling them some big story and was trying to have me arrested for stuff he had NOT done and paperwork he still did not have available. He was claiming theft of services for work not done. The work was not completed , the work that was done was so bad it had to be torn out , replaced and redone, and he still had no paperwork and no valid permit. He said a few days later that it was my job to pull the permit and have that ready for him. Well I am not a contractor and there is no way I can even pull a permit. After all of the damages and hostile actions, I advised him to not enter my house but to have some of his techs simply remove his units because I did not want all the hostility and so on anytime I wanted to have my ac serviced which one can tell he would probably have never done since he never put the ten year labor contract on the table, nor ever had the unit inspected and it would NOT have ever passed inspection. After about a week of no phone calls answered, I get letter from an attorney saying he is going to take my house away and sue me for everything in the book or as much as he can . I told the attorney I had already told this con artist that I did not want to deal with him for the next ten years and for him to simply remove the unit from my house. HIS website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. With thousands of dollars of damage to my house and repairs needed to make the unit run properly and all the overt BULLYING around by both the owner and the attorney I told both of them to arrange a time to simply remove the unit that was nothing but a total mess of an install. Their response was that they were going to do nothing for awhile and then they were going to take my house away from me with a mechanic's lien. I informed them I had plenty of documentation of all that they had NOT done, and all that they had improperly done and that I wanted the UNIT removed from my property. They refused saying they were shoving the unit down my throat along with another twenty or so thousand of attorney fees and court costs. I informed them I would have the unit removed and placed on their property if they did not want to go to the trouble of moving it. They also erupted into a volcano when I advised them the unit would be removed and if not place on their property that I would have it put in a storage unit and charge them for storage and my expenses in what would be a countersuit against all they had done wrong. In short Texperts is not texperts but an assumed dba that Craig Tuffelmire, LLC is doing business under and texpets and whatever other companies he adopts to continuing doping money out of people for warranties and service that he may never provide is something people need to watch out for. THIS GUY IS THE WORST ENCOUNTER YOU EVER WANT TO HAVE CONCERNING AC OR HVAC REPAIRS IE FOR A NEW INSTALLATION. I MEAN YOU THINK FOR A HUNDRED PERCENT PROFIT MARGIN MARKUP THAT THEY WOULR TRY TO threat PEOPLE RIGHT TO GET MORE JOBS. NO THESE GUYS ARE DOING THE WORST WORK POSSIBLE AND WILL PROBABLY SIMPLY GO OUT OF DBA AS TEXPERTS AT THE END OF THE SUMMER AND THEN MAYBE START A NEW COMPANY CALLED TEXPERTS AIR NEXT YOU IF YOU UNDERSTAND HOW ALL THESE COMPANIES HAVE A HABBIT OF DOING THAT SORT OF THING AVOID THIS COMPANY.YOUR LIFE AND YOUR LOVED ONES AND YOUR HOUSE MAY BE PLACED AT RISK IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. IF YOU DO DEAL WITH THEM BE PREPARED TO SPEND TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS TO GET YOUR ISSUES WITH THEM RESOLVED. THEY HAVE A TYPICAL STEREOTYPE ATTORNEY WHO SEEMS TO DO THIS TO ANYONE THEY CHOOSE TO BULLY AROUND. AVOID THIS COMPANY OR YOU MAY LOOSE YOUR HOUSE AND YOU CERTAINLY WILL NOT GET AN AC INSTALLED IN YOUR HOUSE THAT WORKS.

.I was delighted they could come out that same evening and fix it! George was very nice. I just thought it was a little pricey ($140) just to suction out a drainage pan - he probably wasn't here 30 minutes...and that did not include the service call price which is waived if you are an Angie's List member. I don't know how to compare that price with other companies. If someone out there knows, let me know please. They will be back next week to do the a/c maintenance - which I had not had done for the first time in years - and, sure enough, the drainage pan backs up. I DO BELIEVE THE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CAN SAVE YOU MANY $$$ OVER THE YEARS!!!. I will probably use them again! My new go-to a/c company! I was just so please they could get right out here and take care of the problem !!! And, all seemed very nice.

Got the $59 service Big Deal. Scheduled the appointment, the company kept me informed of progress every step of the way, and the technician arrived ten minutes early. He was extremely proficient and professional and went through the whole system thoroughly and quickly. I could not be happier with the service.

I was really impressed with the guy they sent to do look at my A/C system. It took awhile to get someone to come out because the company was very busy and then on the day of my appointment, a gentleman called me and said they would need to reschedule because they had a bunch of people without A/C! My A/C was still functioning and it was very hot so I understood the need for a change. The tech that they sent out the next day was great. He performed the check, flushed out a clogged pipe, and even went above and beyond and wet vacuumed all of the water that was sitting in the pan under the attic unit. I wish I could remember his name because I thought that guy should get a raise! His willingness to help and attention to detail is the reason I would book a real problem with Tex perts in the future.

They did a very good job on what they came out for. I would use them again in the future.

He was here early morning. He was very good. He did his job and he left. He doesn't charge anything extra. He was very, very good about everything. He didn't see anything wrong. He was polite and well-mannered.

I had another issue related to a smaller AC unit which was diagnosed by another company, and needed a new evaporator coil. I had called the TEX-PERT office to request another opinion by diagnosing the problem of the smaller unit (for additional cost), when the service person came to do the 24 point check up on the larger system. I understood that Jesse would do that. When I checked outside to see what he had found at the condenser, he was on the phone talking with another customer. When I asked him about this, he retorted that he had to take customer calls to schedule appointments as he was on call. Again, no diagnosis for repair as requested. Although he went into the attic, he did not diagnose the other smaller air unit, and in fact, he appeared to be indignant that I would ask him to do that despite my stating to his office and to him, that I would pay for the diagnosis as a second opinion. He responded that if the prior company said I needed a new part, he did not need to go through a second diagnosis to determine the problem with the system. Basically, I felt he talked down to me without regard for the request that I made for a second opinion. I do not recommend TEX-PERT as a honest company for another reason. I asked for an estimate to repair the issue of the smaller AC unit, and an estimate to replace the whole system. Jesse told me that I had to give the other company's estimates in order for TEX-PERT estimator to submit their bid against the first company. I asked for a fair price, the best price that TEX-PERT could submit. Very vehemently, I was told that TEX-PERT does not do business that way. In other words, they do not want to do their due diligence to determine a fair price for repair or replace. Take my word, they were trying to take advantage of my not being a man who knew about air-conditioning/heating engineering repair or replacement. I do not trust them to do fair work for fair price. My advice is to look for another more reputable company that will give their own diagnosis and cost estimate.

Outstanding service!!! The only thing they missed was cleaning the A/C drain system as specified in order process and listed during Angie's list ad.

Techs were very efficient and helpful. Arrived on time and completed the work quickly Answered my questions regarding insulation, sealants, and unit operation

The service was performed as scheduled and the tech did a wonderful job. I will use this same service in the future.

Joe, the technician, showed the parts needed and why one unit was not working and the other unit was making a buzzing noise. He was very polite and courteous and the units were repaired promptly and professionally. Tex-Perts is number one on my list for any future cooling and heating needs.

01/2015 The tech was polite, informative and quick. He answered my questions and assured me the unit was in good condition so I had nothing to worry about. Great Service. 06/2015 The tech who worked on the A/C was just as good as the one before. They worked with my schedule, called me ahead of time so that I could meet them and didn't have to sit at home waiting. I plan to have them back next year to check the units again.

The guys are awesome! Jesse the technician was very prompt and did a great job. Excellent communication from setting up appointment to finish. Will defiantly use again!

Looked into several companies on Angie's List. Decided to go with Tex Perts. Scheduling was simple. The technician (Miguel) arrived on time and was very courteous. Explained all the work he was performing in detail. Highly recommend this complany. Honest and helpful.

We've used them a couple of times. I like that they are honest and fair.

Hired TexPerts for the $59 24-point AC Tune-Up. Miguel was punctual, friendly and answered all of my questions. He was willing to discuss future AC options without being a salesman since our 17 year old unit is still working fine. The main reason for the summer check up was to establish a relationship with an AC company should we need anything in a moment's notice or when it is eventually time to replace the entire unit. Miguel was professional and had many great things to say about the owner Craig and the individuals that do the unit installation should it be needed in the future. Thanks TexPerts. We will call you when the unit eventually needs replacing and give you the opportunity to discuss our options and the costs.

Guy came out and performed the $59 24-Point A/C Tune-Up. System did not need Refrigerant.

My AC system was working fine, but I thought it would be a good idea to have a routine service performed before it got really hot. I bought the Tex Perts service. They came over and did most of what they said they were going to do - an inspection and normal service. We heard a loud noise from the air conditioning unit and saw the freon leaking out from an area normally covered by the metal exterior cage - but Tex Perts had obviously removed the cage to do some of their inspections, etc. . The tech said he didn't do anything to it, that it had just happened coincidentally while he was here. They said they gave us 'half price' for the freon and free labor. $400 later, they left and my air conditioner was working exactly like it was before they showed up. It cost me $450 for them to leave it actually like it was before they showed up, and for them to say it was just a wild coincidence that my freon sprung a leak in the area they were working while they were still there, but somehow had nothing to do with their work -well, that is unbelievable. I called someone else to find out what they charged for freon, which was $37 a pound as compared to Tex Perts charging $95 a pound. I'm not too happy with them.

The tech was able to come early and was here for about an hour. He was quick and thorough and provided the best service. Would highly recommend their service!

Service Rep showed up on time and checked the inside and outside AC systems. He was professional and quickly did the work and told me everything was good.

That was good. I wasn’t home but I think they did a good job and they were timely.
