Installed Daikin units. Very neat and clean installation. Highly professional. Took about six hours as predicted. A father and son team did the installation. Three main issues found after installation: The thermostat wasn't set up properly so I could control humidity, the outdoor condenser was positioned over a termite trap so that it couldn't be removed periodically for checking, and the drain hose was positioned to dump condensate under the new slab that the condenser rested upon. I relayed these concerns to Craig Tuffelmire, the owner and chief spokesperson for Tex-perts. In a follow-up visit, the visiting technician adjusted the thermostat settings properly so that I could control humidity levels as described in the thermostat manual. He also verified the improper positioning and drain-hose problem cited above and had the office call me to set up a remedy visit. In the remedy visit, the amicable technician, Edgar, moved the condenser to a better position (which was no mean feat because tube re-soldering had to be done). All the necessary pressure testing, etc., was done. He also ran new PCV drain tubing with a long extension so that water could be actually seen coming from the tube and it wouldn't erode the condenser pedestal foundation. A very neat and professional job. All issues covered. All phone calls, sales visits, and technician visits were very professional and respectful. No high-pressure anything. The system is incredibly quiet! I'm looking forward to the energy savings.

We scheduled TexPerts in April for the first time and were promised with a confirmation email that they could come out and clean our air ducts on a specific date. On the day they were scheduled to come (possibly the day before) they phoned to say their equipment had broken and they couldn't say when it would be fixed or when they could follow through on their commitment. Months later in August, I checked reviews and decided to try to schedule them again based on past (old) good reviews. I purchased a deal on Angie's list for $399.00 to clean our air ducts. I received a confirmation from them, and then the following day another email stating that their equipment was broken and they didn't know when it would be fixed. Possibly in October but not for sure. For a company who specializes in air duct cleaning, that is a very sad state of affairs that their equipment was broken in April, again/still in August and no future assurance of when it would be working again. Having terrible allergies, their failure to provide promised service was a serious inconvenience! Fortunately we found a very professional and reliable contractor, Vollmer Air Duct Cleaning, who came out immediately and performed excellent service, above and beyond our expectations.

Technician was punctual, friendly, and seemed to do a good job. Would definitely use him again.

went well, but my a/c was leaking and they suggested I clean out the pipe under my sink. They did not offer to blow out the pipe or explain that that was needed.

He recommended a completely new system. We later had another company come out and look at it, and they discovered a leak in one of the systems, which Tex Perts Cooling & Heating did not find. It was something extremely easy to correct, by screwing down a little bolt. There was no need to replace the units and that was completely dishonest. We paid them for a spring tune up and they were supposed to be professional and know what they're looking for. I absolutely disagree with them. I don't like being lied to and recommended to buy a new system when it's not true. That's a $30,000 recommendation that he made. The money we paid them for the clean up was just pissed away.

This was a big deal. It was okay. It was fine. We had our unit go out two weeks after they came in and serviced it so I called them back and they came in right away and fixed whatever was the issue. I told them I did not want to have any problems with it for summer so they came out. They said they did the 24 point inspection, which I didn't really see that. But at least it was up and running and any problems they told me to call them. So it went out and completely shut down and froze up a couple of weeks later so they came out and fixed it. Their price was pretty reasonable.

Craig, the owner of the company returned my call within a day and gave me some information about the company. I work late so I needed an appointment outside of their regular work hours. They were more than willing to accommodate. Edgar arrived for the estimate the following day right on time. He went through the whole process with us and gave us advice on not buying more than we needed, which was much appreciated. This was my third estimate and it was about $250 over the others, but I felt so much more comfortable with the company as a whole. We needed financing so we were instructed to contact Tammy at the office. She was very friendly and provided us with the financing options. The options were limited, one option was 0% of 6 months and the other had a longer term but at a much higher interest rate. We decided on the first option and financing was done on the phone within an hour. The appointment for replacing the unit was made for that Saturday. I was told the guys were scheduled to be there between 9-10 and it would take approximately 5 hours. At 10:30 on Saturday, no one had arrived to replace my unit and I had not received a call. I called the office and they called me back stating that they would be there in 30 minutes. They eventually arrived an hour and 20 minutes outside of the appointment window and began work. They were completed the job in approximately 5 hours and cleaned up after themselves. Overall they did a good job. When it was time to sign the papers, I had a couple questions about the parts/labor warranty documentation. I was directed back to Tammy to address my questions. I followed up with Tammy on Monday and was told it takes 4-6 weeks to receive documentation. Overall: When they were trying to sell the unit they were prompt, friendly, and made me feel comfortable. The installation team was very late without calling, however they did a good job. The unit itself was MUCH louder than I expected, but it cools appropriately. I was not happy with the limited financing options and the 4-6 weeks it takes to receive documentation of the warranty.

Work was accomplished. Everything was good until I tried to get some followup. They sent me a type of invoice with their recommendation. The information was a little vague so I replied to the e-mail with a few question of my own. No Response...AT ALL.

He checked the A/C system and added the needed refrigerant.

Showed up on time and performed the inspection and cleaning of 2 a/c units in my home. Serviceman was professional and did the work I hired them to do.

They did okay. I was expecting more for what I paid. They knew what they were doing. They came on-time as they promised. Everything went fine there.

Great job. Will use this company in the future.

I ordered the special $59 tune up special and got exactly that. Prompt response. The best thing was getting all the clogs in the condenser drainage cleaned out.

He was professional and gave me updates along the way while I watched and learned.

Service was scheduled very promptly, person was on time and very professional. Information provided seemed accurate, told us our outside unit was running ok, can tell it is aging and will need to be replaced at some point (and we knew this going in, part of the reason we purchased the inspection - to check it all over). Pleased with overall service and quality.

Quick response. The serviceman was professional and honest. I had a concern about an odor the A/C vent was putting out and he shared with me a quick tip to remove the odor which worked. He also told me that other companies would often attempt to upsell their customers on services they didn't need in the same situation.

I was scheduling this for my moms house. Tex Pert That called my house doesn't work on Weekdays in the afternoon. it is too hot. I cant make an AM meeting. We agreed on the phone to issue a refund

They offered a coupon/deal for heating/furnace inspection and when I wanted to schedule it, they did not want to do it, because they don't inspect heaters in September, or when its still warm outside. Why offer a deal - when your not going to fullfill it? A rep called my home instead of using the message services here. No one called me, nor messaged til I messaged out first. Because they are offering something they will not perform, I rated them an F for professionalism. Instead of using online technology to confirm one of the requested dates and times, they called me, only after i messaged them, I rated them a D for Responsiveness. I am quite surprised by my experience as they have an overall A rating, and over a 1000 reviews.

fairly well, scheduling was a bit sketchy - seemed to be communication issues between the tech and the office as to eta the tech added one pound of freon and said it could probably use two more pounds which I thought was odd as the system only holds 6.5 pounds and if it was really 3 pounds low the system would have frozen up concernedall in all it was still a very good deal as far as I'm

Blower motor slowly went out over holiday weekend; contacted Tex-Perts the first business day back and they were able to come take a look the same day. Turned out the part needed to be ordered. Waited two more days for part and back up and running before the weekend. Communication was great and the people were very friendly, thorough, and professional. No body likes to have their A/C go out during the summer and no one wants to wait for parts even less. However, the situation was handled very well and I was pleased with the service. The only knock I would mention is I was told I would be called with an estimated time for part order but that never happened; I wound up calling them back myself to get a status. I also rated the price an A but I really have no idea of what to expect for the parts cost. All I do know is it is really dang hot in the attic where the A/C unit is and the tech was in there for an hour.

The service was okay. The guy did not leave me a check list of what he covered. I followed him around and everything. For the most part, he covered a lot of the stuff. I felt like he did not check the temperature of my air conditioning, like at the vents, the little infrared tool that most people do. It turned out I had three pounds low on my Freon and they tried to like sell me Freon or get me into buying to their company’s maintenance plan. It just kind of felt like I did not really know what to do. I did not really know how to proceed with that. It felt like I needed a second opinion on the Freon itself. It was good information. I do not doubt that he is lying to me. I kind of understand what he was talking about and I knew how the air conditioning system works. It was just that I was kind of hoping he could give me a little bit more information as far as where I might have a leak in my system. I guess that was an additional $75 service to find a leak. I guess he did what he was supposed to do except for a couple of things on that list and he did not leave me a list to check up what we actually covered. I did not know if I got the value of the inspection. If he would have included a check-off list of everything he covered and stuff, I would have felt more comfortable with getting my money’s worth. I felt like he left some things off the list that he was supposed to check. They did pretty well about their responsiveness. He was polite and everything. I would probably explore other options in the future.
