Description of Work: Someone always answered the phone and conducted themselves professionally (sometimes that's half the battle). They said they would call before they came out and they did. The repairmen were courteous. Edgar was the guy who came out and fixed my heater problem. The price seemed high but I accepted Edgar's explanation. The previous reviews were so good that I wasn't expecting to have any problems or get taken to the cleaners...and I don't think that I was "cleaned." The service was a week ago and "so far, so good."

Description of Work: I was trying to find an alternative to my current company and checked with Angies List, of course, to find Tex-Perts. I signed up for the annual service which includes two inspections. The Winter Inspection was performed by a very nice technician who didn't try to sell me something (unlike my previous service). He was precise, prompt, professional, and gave me information about my existing add-ons for my A/C unit. He also quoted me a price to re-route my drain line, which I thought was very reasonable. I'll be doing that work before the spring.

Description of Work: Performed regular home insect control. It went great. We used them when we had a very large underground wasp nest and the technician was great; even checked back to be sure that everything was still under control. After having some construction done on our house last year, we started having a mouse problem and they handled that as well. They're easy to work with and I have generally been pleased with their technicians. I don't know how their price compares to other providers, but I think their service is worth it.

Description of Work: Replaced filtering system to a much easier method. Also, fixed the heat. As always, they are professional and get the job done. Because they are so good, they do get backed up with work.

Description of Work: They checked and gave me a service repair price of close to $1000.00. Had a gentleman from Bandera inspect and he charged me $125 including freon.

Description of Work: We found a leak from our a/c unit that was already in progress for a couple of days. We contacted a different company first and they came out and told us we needed to replace our unit. Since this would be a costly fix, we decided to get a second opinion, so we called Tex-Perts. The gentleman who answered the phone was out of town on another job, but after hearing about the problem, gave my husband step by step instructions on how to fix it, and at no time mentioned that we needed to replace anything. We followed his advice and were able to complete the repair ourselves, with no out of pocket expense. When we have future problems with our a/c, we will not hesitate to contact Tex-Perts. They are honest and reliable.

Description of Work: I bought the deal for an A/C check and tune-up. They actually arrived early, which was nice. The 2 technicians checked out my unit and were happy to answer any questions I had. My unit checked out fine and they didn't try to sell me anything! I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: My system had a fried capacitor due to the large current draw of my old compressor. The Tech was able to diagnose the problem immediately and explained the benefits of a dual capacitor setup. He could have just as easily told me the entire unit was gone and charged me 3, 000.00 for a new one. Instead. ..he made the repair...installed the extra capacitor and made sure the refrigerant was topped off...all for $548.00! I will never go anywhere else for ac repair or replacement.
