Changing the hall light in a two-story-tall hallway turned out to be way more troublesome than I had hoped! The electrician had brought a tall ladder--but it was three inches too wide for my hallway. With a call to the company for another ladder and an extra helper to brace the ladder and rope him to it, my old light on its six-foot-long dangling chain was removed and replaced with a simpler fixture. It took a lot longer than I had planned, but they got it done. The plugs were fixed much more quickly.

I have used ABC Lawn Services since March 2015. They have always been extremely professional, on time and made appropriate recommendations of other things I wanted done. I have been extremely pleased with all of their work even though they are a bit pricey. Reliable and excellent service is my number one priority. I would strongly recommend ABC Services.

Tex-Perts came and performed a seasonal HVAC service on our AC system. Arrived on time and did a great job! Very happy with their services, now and in the past.

Its not a bad deal, this was my first time using the service so I had to pay for the lights, cords and decorations. They will come out Jan 2nd and remove the lights and decorations, box it up, I keep it stored and they will come out next year and put all the lights and decorations up at half the cost. A very cool service to offer, they did a good job and I am please with the decorations.

It was alright. The price I got from Angie's List was pretty good. They're pretty good with their responsiveness. They just came one time. They were good.

The service tech that came by was very professional and extremely helpful

from the company receptionist to the service technician, not one meeting minimum service standard. The receptionist put in the only request I asked to make sure they perform with her own words "as needed" . That causes the technician came not performing the task as asked specifically. The technician came with no shoe cover and refused to remove his shoes inside my house stating his company policy would not allow him and wasting service time finding excuses not doing tasks asked and why he did not bring proper tools and equipment. I had the first appt for the day, yet after the company called about delay due to traffic, the technician did not come till almost 10am . I had no idea what the technician actually done becuase no check list or report were left and my drain line was not flushed. I called the company and reached the same receptionist to inquire what should be done and requested to speak to a manager. The receptionist told me I can flash the drain line myself and the the technician was their training manager and defensively asked if I was also unhappy with my previous AC companies like it gave them justification for their poor service. I came on Anglies list to request a call back from the manager and no one ever return my call till now (almost a week after the service day). I am surprised how this kind of service and attitude gain superior service award on Angies list.

It was okay. I knew that they were going to come in and say that I needed something more than what I needed but that is typical of air conditioning companies. They got me for 300 bucks and refrigerant. They charged me for the freon by the pound. I wound up buying like a maintenance agreement with them too because the maintenance agreement was cheaper to have them come out every 6 months and take a look at it on their maintenance agreement than it would have been for me to just call them and say, hey can you come out and tune out my system. It wasn't too long after I purchased it that they came out. When you pay $39 for something, the guy really didn't seem like he knew exactly what he was doing to be honest with you. So when he looked for the leak, he couldn't explain why my freon was down 5 pounds of freon. So there has got to be something and he didn't take too long to try to diagnose the problem, he acted like he needed to get to some place else. On top of it, he tried to sell me a whole new air conditioning system for like $10000 so to me the Big Deal was more like, hey I want to get my foot in the door and try to sell you something you really don't need. I would suggest that, not to go in there with a sales pitch to try to sell a complete air condition system, go there for what they went there for and then maybe ask if the customer needs something else and don't automatically say, well you know yours system is kind of old, which my system is not old, it is five years old. It was more like a sales pitch than it was, hey we are out here to take a look at your system. The price for the Big Deal was good.

I've used Tex-Perts a few times before and have always been pleased with the service. Their dispatcher, Robert, is always responsive and easy to work with. All the techs I have worked with have been prompt and informative.

They were very professional at all times not pushy and were half the price of the other bid I received plus did complete pest control around the house and yard.

I bought the fireplace inspection as an Angie's Daily Deal. While inspecting the fireplace a repair was identified. The repairman was able to offer me different options and perform the repair option I picked on the spot.
