Edgar came right on time, he didn't even get lost. (Most people have trouble finding our house since it doesn't face the street it's supposed to face.) He got right to work, fixed a couple of holes that went right down through to the ground under the heating units that the installers left and put in drain lines for both units. These are things that the installers should have done, but didn't. I am so pleased with Edgar and Tex-Perts that I made sure they will be coming back to service my heating and cooling units. I bought Maintenance Agreements for both units. Tex-Perts will call me to remind me when it's time for my check up. I can't ask for more than that.

It costs me $60 a month for mowing the lawn which is really good. I have got relatively small front and back yards. They put some sort of treatment on the front lawn for the same price once every three months. They have been doing well at that part of it. I had had them put sod in the first place because there were several bear spots on my lawn and those spots are bear again. I think they haven’t checked where the shade is and the lawn wasn’t growing well in the first place in those places, so they are bearer than ever in those places. I am very pleased with their lawn mowing but I am displeased with the rest of it. My husband was terribly sick and he just passed away. I was getting a quote from them for putting up some grab bars and a shower in the bathroom and a walk in front so that I could roll him in the wheelchair down to the street. The man just really hiked the quote. I guess he figured out I wasn’t going to check anywhere. I checked on the internet to see what it should be for laying the concrete down in the front. He was charging a ridiculous price and saying that the price of concrete had gone up and things like that. When I confronted him with that he said he would try to see if he could get the price down for me and asked me if I would be happy with that. My husband passed away, so I didn’t get any of the work done. I would not use them again for anything except for mowing the lawn. I don’t want to give my lawn mowers a black eye because they are such sweet nice people, so for my overall experience I would give them a ‘B’. The price is okay for the lawn. The quality of their work on mowing is good. They are pretty quick to come out. I can just leave the gate open and they will come and go. I don’t even have to be home when they come. I would continue to use them in the future.

They didn't do anything they just told us that the air conditioner was fine and that it was just the thermostat. My husband replaced it himself. We just wanted to make sure the air conditioner was okay.

They were great to work with and did a great job. Edgar, the technician, was very informative and helpful with my questions. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

On Sunday found A/C unit wasn't turning on. Monday morning at 8 am I called Tex-Perts. I was told a technician would be out between 9 and 9:30 that same morning. George showed up a little before 9:30 and after asking questions about the problem examined the unit. He found the caps loose on connectors and that the freon charge was low. He explained that there could be a leak but since the caps were loose he recommended just re-charging the freon, tightening down the caps and seeing how the system worked. If there were future problems they would need to come back and search for the leak but hopefully tightening the caps will be all that is required. After discussing the options and prices I also went ahead and purchased a maintenance agreement for both the a/c and furnace. This gives me piece of mind and will hopefully find/prevent any other issues with the entire system. The price was very reasonable. There was no hard sell about the maintenance agreement. George was professional and polite. These guys are great!

Excellent experience from start to finish. George the technician was thorough, and explained all to me. He didn't push extra services. Everything was performed on time and to my satisfaction. I will definitely use Tex-Perts again and highly recommend them.

I have been using them for about six months. I think that they are doing a fine job. We had an incredible drought and so all the bugs are moving into people's houses, and they are fighting that issue. The price seems fine but I don't know enough to compare. The quality seems good and it is working. They came exactly when they said they would.

Overall, I am completely satisfied with the service. Before going with Tex Perts, I had three bids on the job. The Tex Pert quote was the middle quote. I decided to go with Tex Perts because he was the only person who took the time to ask many questions about what I wanted and was able to answer all my questions. I wanted to replace my two AC units with one large unit. The Tex Pert rep said that was possible and I could get one top of the line model for the same price as two medium quality models. (one of the other AC companies said this was not possible). I also wanted additional air flow to my master bedroom. The Tex Pert Rep went into my attic and told me it would be no problem to install an additional duct to my master bedroom to increase air flow. (One of the other AC companies told me they would have to "tear up my home" to put in another duct, they did not bother to go into attic to inspect) When I told Tex Perts that I had selected them for the job, they were able to be at my home within 2 days. The started work at 8AM and completed the job at 9PM with a crew of 3 men. Before starting work, they covered the floor to ensure no mess was left in the house and they also wore covers over their shoes when they entered my home. The crew was extremely professional, polite and knowledgable. The new AC is working great and easily cools the entire home.

As I recently moved into a 16 yr old home, I wanted to get a baseline service inspection so I took Tex-perts up on their $39, 19 point special. I was not disappointed. The service technican, Edgar, was very thorough and took time at the end of his inspection to explain his findings to me in detail. He was very professional and was not pushy about selling me a new system or unneed repairs. He explained what I could expect from my AC system in the next few years and suggested I should consider purchasing a new unit. Edgar stated Tex-perts is accomodating to all its customers and will assist me with purchasing a new unit right for my house when the time comes. I will certainly use them again. A/C unit was blowing warm air Sat night, called Tex-Perts Sun AM, and the unit was repaired by 2:00 that Sunday afternoon (bad capacitor). No sales push for new units or UV lights. Tech was punctual, friendly and very knowledgable.

Repairs were done in a professional manner.

Our A/C had not been serviced for the last two years. When we contacted the contractor who installed it nine years ago to request service, he quoted $185. Did not think twice at all and turned to Angie's list for a better deal.We grabbed TEX-PERTS' $39 Big Deal as well as were confident based on the positive ratings (thank you, Angie' list!). George returned our call promptly and performed the A/C tune-up. Still don't have the slightest idea what '19-Point' means but I feel we got a lot more :) George was knowledgeable and thorough; I showed interest, asked lots of questions and he was very informative and did not mind at all explaining the 'whats' and the 'whys': showed me exactly what he was going to do and why. Ended up replacing the capacitor for extra $85.

Outstanding job. I purchased the Angie's list deal and was a bit worried that the A/C check up and tuning was not going to be very thorough or that I would have to pay for some extras. I was wrong. The person who came was very professional, arrived on time, and did an awesome job. He carefully looked at everything and I could see that was very detailed in his assessment. I did not need to pay extra for anything. Will call them again for sure.

I like their professionalism and the speed in which they do everything. They are in and out within 15 or 20 minutes and the yard just looks fabulous.

Craig the owner was very easy to work with. He was very informative about the different options available and with completing the tax and rebate paperwork. The installation was started and completed on time with a good explanation of the new system. His employees were very thorough in making sure the system was working properly and that the ductwork and drain were also in good working order. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward.

Showed up fine for estimate, seemed very professional, however did not show up for appointment to provide pest control services.

AC unit stopped working in August in Texas - 106 to 111 degrees! TexPerts came out that very day (Thank you!) and repaired our unit. He called our home warranty company, expained the problem and got authorization for the repairs for me. I needed to pay him in full since he was not contracted with my home warranty company, but he submitted a receipt which I submitted for reimbursement. Fast, responsive, professional. Great company!

Wonderful! I was desperate to find help on a Friday evening. George was the only one that returned my call promptly compared to the competition (Angie's listed). He was kind and understanding I had already faced large bills for plumbing and car repairs in the last week so this really put me over the edge. He replaced the leaking dual capacitor(sp?) showed me exactly what he was going to do and within 15 minutes repaired the system and the air conditioner was working!! He stated there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. I thought I was doing ok by having another company do annual checkups in the spring and fall! But it would not have prevented this from occurring. George is my hero! Thank you so much George - TEX-Perts is lucky to have you!

I chose this company based on all the excellent reviews posted on Angie's List. I wasn't disappointed. George was the name of the tech and he performed a diagnostic of the entire A/C and provided a written report of what was wrong, or which parts were old and on the verge of breaking down - further. The A/C has been limping along for several years now and George's report matches the same report I received from another outfit several years ago, so there was no attempt to oversell, and certainly no pressure. George was very professional and took the time to answer any questions I had. The next step is on me - I just have to decide what I'm going to do with my 19 year old A/C. I do know one thing - when it comes time to do the work this outfit will definitely be the first one I call for a quote (it's going to be $5K - $10K of equipment since mine is all junk) because of my experience with George.

Twice now I've had AC problems. They have taken care of the problems without trying to sell me anything I didn't need. They explain everything and show you whatever they can about the problem. Unless they do something I don't like in the future, I'll never use anyone else.

Was told someone would be out within two hours, and sure enough, Edgar was there within that window. My A/C had started working again, but wanted it checked regardless. Edgar was thorough and explained everything to me, and answered my numerous question. He suggested a start-kit to help the unit engage faster. He didn't oversell it, and I didn't feel pressure to buy something I didn't need. It was my choice, and I believe a good one. I will certainly be using this company from now on, and I'm signing up for a service/maintenance agreement today.

Two days ago I called an A/C company out to check the freon level in my A/C unit. I was told the freon level was fine and that I just needed to invest in better filters. Yesterday the temperature rose to 93 degrees inside my condo and I became sick from the heat. I contacted American Home Shield and explained that the heat had made me sick and I needed someone to look at my A/C unit. The rep said if I didn't recieve a callback within 2 hours I could choose my own service provider. I reviewed Angie's List and chose Tex-Perts. I contacted Tex-Perts around Noon and at 1:30p Edgar was at my door. Within 10 minutes of arrival, he identified the problem and fixed it in an hour.

Their quality and responsiveness were good. I would use them again.

The TEX-PERTS crew know their stuff, especially Edgar. Any questions we had, he had an answer. After the installation, we were hearing a whistling noise through the new vent in the dining room. Edgar came back the next day and using a pair of pliers, bent the slats on the vent to allow more air through. The whistling stopped. We had questions on the warranties and the rebates, and Edgar was able to answer those questions too. After the installation we were missing the users manual for the Mitusbishi unit. It only took a few days to get a copy in the mail. It's been a few months since the installation and we couldn't be happier with the cooling; especially during this 100 degree plus weather.
