They were supposed to be here between 10 and 10:30 this morning and no one showed up. when I called them they said it would be another hour or so. I don't have time to sit around and wait for them; they made an appointment with me and didn't show.

It turned out perfectly. I had some leftover material and they used that. I was very happy.

The repair required matching a detailed pattern using fabric from the underside of a cushion. The job was well done. Pick up and delivery were done when they said they would. They are already doing additional upholstering jobs for me.

Work was agreed upon, although I thought cost was a bit much. Work was done satisfactorily. Communication throughout the process could have been much better.

I paid for a $99 special. It cost more than that and it took awhile for it to be returned but I was pleased with their repairs.

I’m sure they would have done a wonderful job, but the repair was more than the bed’s cost so I decided not to have the work done this time. They were very nice and knowledgeable.

First was a visit to assess the needs and look at my other furniture colors and style. Then came fabric selection form books the owner had with her. She was a great help with this. Later, the next week, the pick up truck came : the gentlemen wrapped my pieces carefully as they took them away. I got e mail notice when they were almost completed and time to set up a convenient delivery date. When they were delivered, she came to be sure they met my approval. A deposit on the account was given at pick up and the remainder at completion and delivery. Very nice people. I will recommend them to others.

They were very responsive. My only complaint is that they never gave an "out-the-door" price. The wording on the pricing was confusing and I ended up having to mail in a check later to cover the difference. Not a big deal but being clearer on the final price would have been nice. Other than that, I was satisfied by the work they did and if I decided to have the table and chairs completely re-furbished then I would take it to them.

I first tried contacting another furniture repair company; top rated by Angie's List and all I got were excuses. After about 4 phone calls, I was never was able to set up an appointment with them to obtain an estimate. So I took a chance on A New Life Restoration, because their ratings were great plus Angie's List provided a discount coupon. From the very beginning Jackie and her husband were professional, fair, knowledgeable and friendly. After my initial consultation with Jackie, I decided to look no further. Not only was sofa restored to an almost brand new condition, the job was completed on time and with no hassle. When I then asked them to take a look at my recliner, they suggested an even more economical way to repair it (by ordering the replacement parts online and delivering the recliner to their shop for installation). I highly recommend A New Life Restoration.

We had two wooden dining room chairs that were coming apart where the legs dovetailed into the base. We went to Angies List and found New Life Restoration LLC with a favorable review. We called and made an appointment to take the chairs in for repair and got a estimate over the phone. We had to drive 100 miles round trip. They are on the far northeast side of San Antonio and we live 30 miles south of the city.It was worth it. They told us it would be about 2 weeks and the estimate they gave us was correct. In two weeks, I called and the chairs were ready. We picked them up and they looked great. They helped us load them into my truck and were very professional and thanked us for our business. Based on the work they did for us, I would highly recommend them for furniture repair. I think they do upholstery work also.

Jackie was nice and came to my house to talk about the upholstery but we have decided not to use her service due to unforeseen budget issues.

I purchased an Angie's Special: $200 of furniture restoration for $99. Jackie, from "A New Life Restoration, LLC." contacted me promptly & came to my home to view the pieces I wanted refinished. She arrived on time for our appointment and was very personable & knowledgeable. She gave me an estimate for the pieces I wanted refinished, which I felt was fair, and said she could have the work done in 2 weeks. I accepted the estimate & agreed to have the pieces picked-up the next day. Jackie & one of her associates arrived the next day at the agreed upon time & were very careful loading my pieces onto their truck. Exactly two weeks later Jackie called to say the pieces were ready. I was extremely satisfied with the results! All 3 pieces looked great. The tops, which had been severely marred from years of abuse looked almost new. The consistency of the stain was uniform over all 3 pieces. I would definitely recommend "A New Life Restoration" and plan to use them again myself.

I have a little table that needs to be refinished. Don't know if it is an antique or just old but thought this would be a great way to have it done. Jackie asked that I send pictures which I did via email. He looked at them and sent his reply and his estimate. I just felt that the estimate was too high: His cost was $600 minus $200 for the price he had offered for $99. My total cost would have been $400. I had just bought a new table from Home Accessory (SA, TX) for $600 and there was no comparison and since I do not know the value of my table, I just felt the cost to refinish it was a little too high. We were both very cordial and he understood my circumstances and I understand his.

I received competent, timely, and friendly service. Communication regarding service was also excellent. Thank you for making a bad situation much better!

We have a recliner that had not been functioning properly for a period of time. When reclining, the inner works of the recliner caused the recliner to drop substantialy lower on one side than on the other. This was very uncomfortable and would create a pain in the user's back if the recliner was reclined. Calling the dealer, we learned that the manufacturer had declared bankruptcy shortly after we purchaned the chair. Therefore, it became necessary for us to locate an independent repair provider in order to make the recliner fully usable again. The merchant from whom we acquired the recliner was unable to recommend anyone. We went to numerous other furniture dealers who sold recliners, but were unable to obtain the name of anyone capable of providing the necessary service. Using the iternet, I was somehow able to find Second Life Restoration LLC. They assured me that they could do the work, but told me that the person who would do the work would not be in until the following week, but would get right on it when he returned. I was assured that no work would be done untilI had been called after they determined the extent of the damage and an estimated cost of repair. The following Monday I received a call telling me that the recliner had been completed and that the cost was less than $36. It had been discovered that the only damage was that a nut and bolt had come unbolted and that the repair was essentially no cost above the cost of inspection that had to be performed. I thoroughly appreciated such honesty and promptness. The shop is extremely clean and well organized and my recliner was under cover to avoid any dust or spillage that might occur. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful in every way. It was truly a pleasure doing business with the provider, and it is wonderful having a fully functional recliner again without having had to spend an arm and a leg to have it repaired.
