Response from A New Life Restoration LLC
...at times two schedules do not coincide and phone tag becomes a part of the scheduling process and on many occasions our clients also run late to scheduled appointments (i.e. meeting during their lunch hour, children's Doctors visits) and in turn we begin to run behind as well which was the case with our scheduled time. Our original day to meet was also the day your Daughter was moving to her new home and I believe you were in town from Houston. I completely understand with the chaos of moving flexibility for a later time that day would not work and so we agreed to meet at a later date at the new home. I do not recall meeting you or if you were back in town when we did see the desk, but our estimate also included some substantial repairs. The desk side panel has a crack from the top to the bottom base as well as molding broken off, the door also has a crack in the center and the letter holder also has a piece of decorative molding missing which we would need to fabricate to match the existing piece. We also found that the desk had previously been painted so we anticipate the process of stripping and sanding to the original wood would require several more hours. Although we were not able to help, we do thank you for your time and interest in our services.
