Description of Work: I made appointment cost was another 1000. Did not have at that time then some health issues came up. But was told not to worry when ready make appointment and the would come. Which I did but they did not show up and have heard nothing since.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal from them for acoustic popcorn ceiling texture removal and retexturing.

Description of Work: the contract called for them to paint the interior of our home to include lightly sanding woodwork and painting, remove popcorn ceilings and re-texture same. We asked at the time of the bid if the owner would be on the job every day, as we had had problems with other painters in the past not showing up. He assured us he would be on the job. This was a big house and a big job. He told us 7 to 10 days. It was so disorganized it was over 2 weeks. He didn't show up some days, he had hired extra men and no one was there to lay out the work for the day. When the job was completed I pointed out several things that had been skipped over , he assured me he would send someone back the next day to finish the work. That was 10 months ago and we are still waiting. I called numerous times and he wouldn't ever answer the phone. Since then I have had a chance to really look at all the work done and there are many areas that they just painted over the dust left by removing the ceiling, didn't wipe them down, and didn't even think about lightly sanding .

Description of Work: Instead of painting 2 rooms, the workman painted 2 coats in 1 room as we asked him to. We were very pleased with the job that he did.

Description of Work: the deal was for three rooms to remove popcorn ceiling. I called and needed only one large room and hallway. I agreed to pay extra for the hallway. the appointment was made by the company for 5/30/2012 at 8.00 am. they did not show up or call. I called the cell phone number of the man I spoke to three times and left messages. they did not return my call. I never heard from them.. I requested a refund of 349.00 from Angies list and recieved a credit on my credit card.

Description of Work: We have not been able to complete the service as of yet due to the health of our mother in law in bad health but A B has told us the coupon will still be good. They are so easy to work with.

Description of Work: I had purchased an Angie's list coupon from AB. I don't remember the exact price, but I did think it was very reasonable. I graded them lower for punctuality and responsiveness because we did have some miscommunications over the date and time - I was not happy about that. But once they got here, they painted a large bedroom and a living room wall super fast and it just might be the best quality paint job I've ever had done.

Description of Work: I bought a deal off Angie list some mths ago for 2 rooms painting. I paid to upgrade to cover the two intended rooms (both bathrooms). The company was prompt, efficient and easy to schedule with. I am very satisfied with the work performed and would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Anthony and his crew did an outstanding job and were $1200 lower than any other vid I had to completely paint my entire 2000 sq ft house and ceiling.

Description of Work: WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK! On May 24, 2012 we purchased an advertised deal for ceiling removal and retexturing by AB Custom Painting. We paid $299.00. My husband called Mr. Anthony Barragan in early June to schedule the work. The work was scheduled to start on August 3, 2012. August 3 came but AB Custom Painting did not. Repeated calls to Mr. Barragan on August 3 were not returned. When AB Custom Painting did not return our calls or show up on Monday, August 6, we logged a complaint with Angie's List asking for our money back.

Description of Work: I must say I am extremely satisfied with the work done in my home. AB Custom painting painted the house from top to bottom including doors and wood trim. They also installed baseboards and crown moulding. I will most definitely call them back to install some additional trim and decorative carpentry around windows and such. The paint is extremely well done. Everyone who has come in the house comments on how good a paint job was done. The carpentry is also very good. I found the price to be extremely reasonable for the amount of work done. Less then what some other contractors quoted. We did a final walk through and everything we pointed out was iced the next day. I really cannot understand the few other negative reviews hat have been received on this site based on my experience.

Description of Work: Anthony and his crew pressure washed the house, repaired some wood, caulked and painted the exterior of our house.The job was done as promised and done with quality and professionally. They took interest in the colors we wanted and procured the paint we wanted. They work efficiently and neatly. We certainly would use their services again. We were very happy with their work.

Description of Work: Painted kitchen ceiling and walls, floating walls to cover wallpaper. Painted two walls in living room/den, sanding and then floating walls to prep surface. Painted one 10 x 12 bedroom. Cost was in addition to a "big deal" payment earlier so it was an expensive job. I don't consider this company to be the lowest cost, but they do a good job and had 4 people working to get the job done in one day. I advised them to use mylar dropclothes on furniture and to wall off an area when sanding. Even though they vacuumed up the dust, it had settled on furniture and fixtures. They too the suggestion without complaint.

Description of Work: had half of 1800 sq foot home repainted. Huge living room/Dining area, Kitch and Den. Painted with 4 colors. I bought the paint. The were super good, I am detailed oriented and they didnt miss a spot and very detailed. they went right to work and did the job in ONE day. Two coats of paint and clean up. didnt need much clean up. They were very professional, clean, and detailed. I was surprized they did the work in one day. Oh I did move all the furniture to the middle of the rooms and took off all the outlet covers. I figured it saved time and furniture would be handled by me and not some painter that may not care if it got dinged or not. I think this also kept the labor cost down now that i think about it. I will hire them again to do the bedrooms later on, and crown molding as well.

Description of Work: Anthony Barragon of AB Custom Painting removed popcorn ceiling and painted our master bedroom/bath area (2 coats of paint each area). He also taped and floated areas in the master bedroom where we had two can lights after the electrician removed them; and boxed in new lighting after the electrician removed the old lighting and installed new lights in the dressing area.
