A B Custom Painting

After sending message through Angies List I received a phone call within 30 minutes. within two hours I had an estimate abd agreement to do the work. They were on time and did an excellent job. Cleanup was superb. I would recommend AB Custom Painting to anyone. I will use them again when needed.

The paint looks pretty good but there are a few rough spots, a few spots where they prepped for paint but then did not paint and some of the paint has already chipped off. They were a bit hard to work with and they were lacking in professionalism.

Anthony and his crew worked extremely efficient. Job ETA was 3 days and the job was completed in 2 days. We are completely satisfied with the work and professionalism of this company. I look forward to completing additional projects and contracting this company.

The AB Cusom painting team was prompt to arrive and finished as scheduled. They were clean and careful to protect all surfaces. All light fixture globes, fan blades, curtains rods, shelves, hvac vents etc were removed so surfaces could be refinished or painted and restored upon completion. The Communication was great. Overall the owner and the team are very professional and the quality of the work is exceptional. The walls are nice and the textured ceilings are beautiful.

The service was fine. They did a good job. We had to make a correction and he had no problem coming to fix it. We only deal with the single painter and he was good.

Now my home looks like a model show home.

They did a good job. They were neat and clean. They did what they said they were going to do. We selected the paint and it came out fine. We would be encouraged to tell others to hire them. We wouldn't have hired them if their price was too much, we agree to their price. They came and finished the job quickly. They were very professional.

He is easy to work with especially with my schedule. He tries professionally. He cleans up real good and I am very happy with his service. In fact I had him do a second trip on a different job and we talked about a third job already. As far as satisfaction, I am very satisfied, 100%. I am very pleased with this man. He looks god at a distance but not as good at a close distance. If i am not satisfied the first time, I would have not called for the second job and not made plans for the third job. He is very considerate in terms of schedule especially that I am of age and I don?t get up at six in the morning. I?m good with his service. I?m good with what he charged me and the results. I?m glad that he considers. He is punctuality is good. I cannot say anything bad and there are no flaws. Update as of May 20, 2015: Not happy with the work, the response, there was a problem, problems with the work and I've called and left several messages and has yet to call. I had an appointment 3 weeks ago and didn't show up.

I contacted Anthony to give me a price for painting a ceiling and a bathroom that was left unfinished by another paintier. He responded promptly with a good price and I hired him. On the day scheduled for the service he called to let me know he was running late, but that he would be there. He did what he said he was going to do on the agreed upon date and did a great job.

Painted exterior trim, facia, & eaves. Job was done better than expected, on time and on budget. I could not give them a higher recommendation and have already had them do other work.

Excellent price with immediate onsite quote. Responsive service and good if you have time to make sure that he covers everything you ask for. It took a little bit longer than expected but I also didn't rush him or ask for a strict timeline. I'm sure he could match a timeline if you needed it. After the first week, I took a look around the worksite and mentioned a couple of boards that should be replaced and couple of areas where more paint scraping and prep should be done. He got it taken care of the following week, but not sure if it would've happened if I hadn't mentioned it. Crew did an average job of keeping the area clean. Did not use a tarp on the ground so there were still leftover paint scrapings. I mentioned this to Anthony and he did his best to pick up the paint but nonetheless there are still little bits to pick up. I noted two areas of concern: 1. Paint bubbling on certain boards 2. Wood rot that should be replaced but instead covered with wood putty. Anthony is responsive to phone calls and will make arrangements to come fix the work. With the rain and scheduling conflicts I was not able to make an appt for a follow on visit to fix the final areas of concern. I will change to an A rating once I see the follow-on work and/or the paint lasts as it should within the warranty period.

Service not performed after contacting the company several times although was told the company would honor the coupon even after it had expired. Have not been contacted for service to be performed. At this point, I just want my money back. The business has responded to my email request for refund to contact Angie's List for refund.

Overall it was a good experience. They were supposed to start on a Monday but I get the feeling they didn't finish the previous job on time as all that was done the first day was delivery of supplies. Anthony estimated 5 days, but including the Monday it took 7 days to complete the project. I used this company in the past to paint the walls in the house, so was familiar with the crew and had built a relationship with them so was very comfortable having them work in my house. I did ask them to stop work a little early on that Friday so I could go out of town, which they did graciously. I am very happy with the work they did.

I liked everything about the experience. The man who came out was very polite. It was good and I was going to go with him and then I thought we will get one more estimate, and this guy was close to the house and he quoted me $1,500 so I went with him.

Anthony came out and provided an estimate that included our choice of paint brands (we went with Sherwin Williams which was the most expensive but worth it) and provided us with a timeline of how he would complete the work (estimated Prep Time, actual painting, etc). Anthony's estimate was about 20% less than the three other painters we spoke with and that included the premium paint and our storage shed which was not part of the other painters estimates. Anthony's team was prompt and precise, for example, they painted our garage doors and did such a good job with prep there was not a single drip and the hardware looks brand new, not a spot on it! Everything looks so nice and Anthony even made recommendations to my husband where he saw some rotten trim so that we could replace it and fix the problem rather than just coating it with paint and not addressing the issue. It took the A B team about 2 1/2 days to complete all the work on a 2 story home and the storage shed, the end result is that my house looks great and I am very thankful to Anthony and to Angie's list for connecting us!

The crew showed up on time every day, was very courteous and responsive to my needs and concerns. I was expecting furniture delivery on the weekend after the work was started, and they completed the rooms that were expecting furniture as much as they could so that the new furniture could be delivered without problems. The owner was present at least half of the time the work was being done, and personally took care of the carpentry work. As expected, there was quite a bit of mess involved, but they did their best to contain and clean it up afterwards. I am planning on having this same company put in my flooring within the next few months.

All work was completed and looks beautiful

Purchased this to complete some painting on my ceiling in a theater room. The painting work was done pretty quickly and without mess although i can see some areas that could have used a little better coating. I would use these folks again, the price was fair and the work was done quickly and if it wasn't for my picky eye i would not have ever noticed.

So far it has been a good experience, I look forward to having my rooms painted.

It went well. They finished the job in a very short period of time. They cleaned up pretty well, although, it was still pretty messy in the cabinets from the fine dust.

Don't expect a quick response. Remember you have to paint the ceiling yourself.

They did a good quick job painting. My only negative is that it took so long to get an appointment and then it was canceled and rescheduled which was very inconvenient for me.

I gave them a "B" instead of an "A" for only one reason... cleanup. I expected a certain amount of sheetrock dust from taping and floating... any one who has ever done any of that knows that you get a fine, talcum powder type dust from sanding the seams. In my case, the crew brought in some fans to help dry the joint compound, which blew it everywhere... the problem I have was the lack of sealing off the adjoining open areas to minimize the dust going EVERYWHERE... we even had it upstairs, where no work was being done. So, highly recommended... just nail down the cleanup part beforehand.

They were great! Best price by far! I've recommended them to a friend who also used them. They were thorough and did a great job. I plan on calling them for our interior soon. They power washed, did 2 coats paint on all trim, and cleaned up after themselves. It took less time than expected. The owner felt directly with us and was one of the 2 painters who did the job.
