They were very helpful and patient providing various estimates while we were trying to figure out exactly which way to go on our windows. We ultimately went with another company that was able to provide better pricing as we also had them doing work in addition to Windows.

Being from out of town is usually nerve racking working with new vendors but the team at Southern Pride was great to work with from beginning to end. The initial consultation was honest and upfront, even with a couple expensive items I was considering. The team who installed was also on time and took great care during the process, being sure they left everything clean and tidy. I'd recommend them over again, and already have.

Initially, the entry door was installed. It's a Provia door that seems to be of really good quality, and Justin did a GREAT job with the installation. Because of how well this first job turned out, I later contacted them to replace the patio doors and shutters. I am very pleased with the quality of the products and with the professionalism of Southern Living. Because of my experiences, I would gladly recommend them to family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors!

I am hugely delayed in writing this review and rarely write reviews in the first place, but I was on Angie's List for the first time in awhile and thought it only appropriate considering how great of a job they did. I couldn't be happier with the work product, and the price was cheaper than other competing quotes we got. A year later, everything is still perfect. Tom and Kelli were very responsive, came on time every time, and promptly came back to fix the couple of inevitable cosmetic issues. I'm not exaggerating when I say they've been the easiest contractor I've worked with, and wish others could be the same way. I will use them for any doors / windows in the future.

We were very happy with the work done by Southern Pride Openings. When we decided to replace our windows, we obtained estimates from three other companies. Southern Pride was not only the best cost value, but we really liked their product and found them very easy to work with. They were quick to come out and measure our windows, and the installation followed within a reasonable timeframe. The windows come with a warranty, which I never expected to use. However, when our entire house flooded just a couple of months after installation, one of the windows was damaged from being submerged in flood water. I didn't even have to call and ask them to look at it, they came by on their own to check on us and the windows. They immediately, without hesitation, ordered and installed a replacement window at no cost, despite the fact that I hadn't yet registered our windows for the warranty. The flood also damaged our old sliding glass door, so we had Southern Pride replace it. It looks awesome! They took care to place and trim the door so that you cannot see any of the old calk lines. With respect to the quality of the windows and doors, prior to replacing them, we had on-going problems with condensation and street noise. The new windows and doors stay dry, and our home is much quieter now. I'm very glad we went ahead and made an investment in our new windows and doors and also glad we decided to work with Southern Pride Openings.

Southern Pride was AMAZING. When ordering the doors/frames, they considered all of the nuances that come with my 1950's house. One of my original doors (to the garage) was poorly constructed and could let water in. Instead of just putting a new door in the same opening, they totally reconstructed the door threshold, and raised the door, so that water could not get in. They were also very forward thinking to order the top of the new door frame taller to align with the brick coursing. After installation I was unhappy with one of the doors that I chose, and Southern Pride worked with me to get it replaced at no cost to me. They will go above and beyond to keep their customers happy and coming back! Great family owned company.

From start to finish, Southern Pride Openings was outstanding! Tom, the co-owner, came out to listen to our needs and offer suggestions and samples. He provided a competitive bid and set appropriate workflow expectations. As I had additional questions, I received prompt replies from both Tom and Kelli. Very refreshing to receive such customer service. When the door was ready, Justin came to install our new door and complete all the associated trim work. Justin exceeded our expectations in service, workmanship, and fielded all questions. Such professionalism is rare to find these days. I highly recommend Southern Pride Openings!

It went great! There were areas around the front door that were a little tricky to save and Justin took great care in keeping the woodwork how I wanted it.

Shannon Sewell and Tom Herold (owner) were very professional and responded to all my questions when they gave their company's presentation to me. Both the windows and doors installers worked quickly but carefully, and cleaned up well afterwards. There was an issue with some plantation shutters on one of the doors that initially looked like it wouldn't be able to be re-fitted to the new door, but Tom took care of that personally by cutting it to fit and then installing it on the new door with no extra charge. I have received many compliments on the new windows and doors and am very happy with them.

We used Southern Pride because they did such an excellent job, both with the work done and the product provided, when we had them replace our doors last year that we decided to use them with our replacement windows as well. Again, the product they sold us and the workmanship they demonstrate are "top shelf"! As soon as we can fit the replacement of the rest of our windows in our budget, they'll get another call from us. :) The windows we purchased from them do a nice job blocking out the noise of our neighbors' dogs as well as increasing the energy efficiency of our home. We're very happy with our purchases!

Everything was terrific and delivered as promised. Extremely pleased and lots of compliments from the neighbors who are now talking about new windows.

We contacted Southern Pride Openings after contacting other door companies. We needed a new set of doors for our entryway and a new entry door from the garage to the foyer. Chris was nice enough to let us know if the company would help us (which they did). Larry met with us to discuss the various options on the doors and helped us to create our own doors while providing price quotes. We meet with Tom to secure the final measurements and price. After deciding on the doors that we wanted, we waited roughly 3 weeks for the doors to arrive. Two separate dates were set aside to install the French doors and the new entry door from the garage. Justin did a great job of removing the old doors and doing the necessary prep-work for the installation of the new French doors. There were a few small setbacks (which I didn't notice) but once everything was completed, the new French doors were installed and ready to go! A week later, Justin came back to install the new entry door from the garage to the foyer. Within 3 to 4 hours, the job was completed. In all, we are very satisfied with the Southern Pride staff; with Larry who helped us with the designs and costs; for Tom who spent extra time to measure and provide the final costs and finally Justin who installed the doors. If we had to do this again, I would definitely go with Southern Pride Openings.

Workmanship was outstanding. Was very flexible in accommodating our timeframe. Highly recommend based on our experience installing both windows and the door.

Every step in the process was above my expectations. I appreciated all of the information I was given during the initial consultation. I didn't feel like I was getting a sales pitch from a pushy salesperson. Instead I was getting information to help me make an informed decision. I had a few contractors out for estimates and Southern Pride was the only company that didn't pressure me to sign an agreement or push me into a bunch of extras I did not want. I have an older home and had very old windows that were being replaced so I expected to have some issues come up but the installation went smoother than I expected. The installer was very friendly and courteous and he had everything cleaned up inside and outside the home before he left. The windows look beautiful. I will definitely use Southern Pride again and would recommend them to anyone who needs windows replaced.

Larry, the sales rep,, came out the next day after calling to present their product and to look at and count the windows so that he could go back and prepare a quote. An appointment was made and the owner, Tom, came out and measured all the windows that were to be replaced. Tom gave us a quote and the expected delivery date of the new windows, stating that they would schedule a time to install the windows once they came in. We also explained to their office that we had adobe brick that was 38 years old and that we would like their best crew so that the brick wouldn't be damaged. The windows were delivered in less time than expected, but we had so many things going on at the time that we had to push the installation out a week or so. When the installation schedule was set, their team showed up right at the scheduled time of 7:00am to start work. Justin showed up right at 7am and started right away unloading and setting up. He broke once for a short lunch break (never left the jobsite) and proceeded to complete his task. He worked straight through to 11:00pm installing the windows and cleaning up the yard before he left. The only thing that had to be replaced outside the windows was a few of the windows had HardyBoard over the top and that had to be removed. Justin went to Lowes bought some board, cut it to length and installed those pieces. The extra cost only came to $9.00. We have two sets of double French doors on our back porch area that we will replace next year. We will contact Southern Pride to handle that project. We were well pleased with the work and the cost.

We initially called Southern Pride because of their reviews on Angie's List. We decided to select Southern Pride quickly after meeting with them. We've always been leery of finding contractors without a personal referral. We were pleased with every interaction from initial consult, to final measurements and lastly full installation. We love our new windows and feel we received excellent quality at a great price. We've already recommended Southern Pride Openings to my in-laws and they too had the same awesome experience working with this company. Tom and Kelli care about customer service and have a large following to show for it!

Shannon, Tom and Justin are all great. They are professional and know what they are doing. Shannon answered our many questions, including during weekends and at night. Tom designed the pattern of the windows which we really liked. Justin installed all the windows, which was not an easy job, especially in the Texas heat. We really appreciate their work.

As a somewhat inexperienced homeowner, and not knowing what to expect, I had put off replacing a damaged window for a while. But, my overall experience with Southern Pride was painless and I'm thrilled with the results. First visit on Aug 3, Larry Herold (owner's father) came to consult and give me an estimate. He is extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. He explained in detail the pros and cons of various options, letting me decide what I needed and could afford. Second visit on Aug 10, one week later, Tom Herold (owner's brother) came to measure my window openings so the window order would be as accurate as possible. He was also very friendly and helpful. Third visit on Sept 8, the window installer came to install the windows. (He is not a brother, but a long time employee. :-) He was there 3.5 hours (I was told it would take up to 4 hours). He was on time, went right to work, barely caused any noise. Before I knew it, the windows were in, window shades were reinstalled, and he was ready to demo everything for me. When he left, the place was spotless like nothing had ever happened. I'm am beyond pleased with the process, the individuals I dealt with, and finally my beautiful new windows. Thank you Southern Pride! I will be calling for more windows and a new front door as soon as I can budget them in.

From start to finish, they were great. Fast and prompt response to quote, measure and install the window. I'm selling my home and they provided excellent service in a short turn around time. The installers were great, arriving a little late due to traffic, but called me every step of the way to let me know they were coming. The crew quickly and efficiently installed the window and cleaned up all debris when done. They spent extra time making sure the install was done correctly and that I was happy before they left. If I were staying in Texas I would have used them to replace more windows. Great job!

Southern Pride once again exceeds expectations. Southern Pride has been far and away the best service provider for my home - I wish all the other providers would take lessons from Tom and Kelli. We have purchased a new front door system and a whole house of windows from them, all of which come with an outstanding warranty. They are in business with fantastic suppliers. I came home one afternoon to find my beautiful front door glass shattered. I texted Tom, fingers crossed that there was a warranty on my door glass. He responded right away and said he would see me in about 3 weeks when the new glass comes in. How simple was that! No questions, no hassle, just outstanding service!!! It turned out fine. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up nice. I've had no problems and the windows have been perfect ever since.

Working with Southern Pride has been fantastic. From their initial consultation, through the sales and installation. Everybody at the company is professional and respectful. The door and storm door are of highest quality and the installation was outstanding.

The experience with Southern Pride Openings was very positive from the initial meeting with the sale rep (Larry Herold) though completion of the projects. At the initial meeting Larry was helpful and not pushy (a big plus and rare for many window sales people). In follow-up emails he was responsive to our questions/concerns. Once we decided to go with Southern Pride and paid the initial deposit, service after that decision was just as positive as it was before we made that commitment. During installation they found some problems with rotted wood in two window frames that they fixed without an additional charge. We later had Southern Openings install a door into our backyard. We were just as pleased with that process as we were with the windows. I highly recommend them.

The real test of a company is if they will stand behind their product, the quality of their work, and their word. There are very few companies that will do this in today's world. Southern Pride is one of those companies that will. This is the 3rd time we have used them. The first 2 times everything went completely flawless. This 3rd time there were some hiccups concerning the installer's work. Nothing serious, just some sloppiness. I sent them a very unhappy email expecting some sort of less than satisfactory response. I was pleasantly surprised because I was met with a same day polite, professional response from Kelly, the owner's wife. Tom, the owner, came out the very next day to inspect the installer's work. He completely agreed with me, the customer, that the work was not up to his company's standards or mine. The thing that impressed me the most was Tom's totally customer service focused attitude. Tom was not happy because I, the customer, was not happy. And, shock of all shocks...he told me that they would work on it until I was happy. When was the last time someone told you that and then followed up on it? Well, Southern Pride did exactly that. Tom and his installer came out to our house at least 3 more times working on the work wood and calking to make sure that I was completely satisfied. I even requested that Tom accompany his installer and work along side him to ensure that the corrections were completed in the manner that I expected. Tom did absolutely everything that I asked him to do in order to get the door, windows, and woodwork looking like I thought it should look. And, guess what? He did it all with a smile on his face, a sense of humor, and a fantastic attitude. I was worried the installer would be upset with me for reporting him to his boss. Well, he wasn't. The installer reflects Tom's positive attitude, desire to satisfy the customer and to provide service with a smile. As we all know most of the time when renovating a home there are going to be some issues, misunderstandings, mess ups, etc. So if you are worried about that and concerned that a company may just be out to make a buck and not care about you or the quality of their work, then you need to call Tom and Kelly at Southern Pride because they will not stop working until you say stop and they handle all complaints with a smile and a positive customer focused attitude Best of all, they really want you to be happy with their product and their work. These are great people and one great company.
