I called Southern Pride Openings two times and left messages both time with my phone number. They never bothered to return my calls and I needed five windows replaced on a house I own in North Garland. Glad I didn't hire them as if they won't return calls when you are trying to give them business then I can only imagine if I had them do the work and then had issues with their work.

Could not have gone better. Everything was perfect from first call until handing final payment. Southern Pride is professional in all aspects of the process from customer service, answering any and all questions, promptness and professional attitude and work. They really care the job is done correctly to the point of it feeling like they were installing everything in their own home. There is no one better for installing windows and/or doors for your home. I would highly recommend them for any project, big or small, for windows and doors.

Service is high quality. They understood how doors / windows fail and their business models aims to prevent this. A west-side facing door will warp and they try to resolve this problem for you; standard providers will gloss over this and just gladly install a door or windows. Owner is Tom and he's careful, detailed, and honest. Door is procured from Provia, a high quality provider. And installed by Justin, who is excellent. This is the 3rd door they've installed for me, and I recommend them without reservation. They are honest, careful, and thorough. I have no reservation about recommending their services.

We have lived in our house for nearly twenty years. We needed a few windows replaced several years ago, and after interviewing several companies, including the ones that have full page advertisements in the Sunday paper, we chose Southern Pride. Our choice was not just based on price, though they did have the best quote, but more due to the feeling we got from Tom, the owner, who came out and gave us the quote. We used them twice to replace a few windows and were happy with the results. When it came time to replace all of our remaining windows in July of this year we did not hesitate to once again use Southern Pride. It was a substantial investment in our home.. I knew I wanted something different than the builder grade, old style grid but I was not sure exactly what I wanted. Shawna was so patient and, after numerous conversations, helped me choose the prairie style grid. Shawna sent me multiple pictures of different styles in order to help me make my decision. Tom came out and spent several hours getting precise measurements for each window. Justin installed all the windows over two days. Justin also replaced two rotted window sills. I can honestly say the house was cleaner when Justin left than when he arrived, his cleanup is beyond thorough. Kelli handled all the financial details. Everything went smoothly and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Several neighbors have asked who did our windows and I gladly handed out Southern Pride business cards to them. It should be noted that the same staff has been with the company the entire time we have worked with them, over a period of ten years. I think that speaks volumes about what kind of company Southern Pride is. We would use them again in a heartbeat. Not only do the windows look great, but they were properly installed also. After the torrential rains in the past couple of weeks, not a single drop leaked into our home. Gone are the days of running to each window after a rainstorm and wiping up leaks. Tom the owner came to our home and was very knowledgeable and informative. You can tell he enjoys what he does and is very experienced. He took the time to explain and answer all the questions we had. In addition the team Shawna and Kelli were very accommodating. I had a few extra requests and a change order and they took care of everything quickly and smoothly. The installation too was done well and I am super happy with my new windows and doors. I would recommend them to anyone. They are not the cheapest but in this area you really do get what you pay for.

It went very smoothly. They were very professional. They covered everything to make sure that nothing got in my carpet or floor, they took the blinds down and then put them back up. They cleaned up everything and there was nothing that I had to do when they left. I highly recommend them as they are helpful and really work with what is needed. I had been thinking about replacing my windows since I had some that really did not close well, but as you look at the companies I had no idea what windows I would need. They explained everything to me and helped me understand what I would need. I have never had windows that I can open with one hand, these you can. Southern Pride Openings did an wonderful job replacing all of the windows in our home. From start to finish it was a very positive experience. Their customer service was impeccable. The product that they provided was very high quality and the install was amazing. I would definitely recommend Tom and Kelli's company, they are GREAT!!!

From bid to installation, we were very pleased with the entire process. Our window in our breakfast nook looks great. Southern Pride Openings had replaced windows for us in 2014 and came back in 2017 when we did some remodeling. This September we had our breakfast nook window replaced. Having a trustworthy reliable window company to work with these last 5 years has been greatly appreciated. I wish all of my home projects / service vendors treated me like Southern Pride Openings.

We had a great all-around experience with the company. The initial estimate was in-person and incredibly thorough. We were able to build our door on their tablet during the appointment. They were even able to add a picture of the door area and show how the new doors would look with our brick. We appreciated the many customization options available. The doors did take a bit to get in, but they are custom made, so that is to be expected. The installation for both our front and back doors together was less than a day, including replacing the doors and frames. The doors and frames are steel and incredibly sturdy, but move easily. Our house has a lot of soil movement, but the steel frames are keeping the doors firmly in alignment and sealed.

Tom provided a lot of details on the options available. He showed me pictures of many of their past installations. Good communication while the door/lite was being manufactured. The installation got derailed a couple of times by weather, but eventually installed on a Saturday. The installer arrived on time and clearly explained the installation steps to me. The results exceeded my expectations. I'll use Southern again for entry projects.

Excellent sales in which we learned everything we needed to know (along with an impressive demonstration) needed to make an “informed” decision about quality window products and installation, pricing and team/customer communication We were always kept in the loop from beginning to end and will DEFINITELY call on them again as needs arise. Justin, one of their long-term employees, arrived right on time. He completed a difficult job including prep, install and clean-up all in one long Dallas 36 degree day and was always quite pleasant and considerate of our home needs. When finished, we were given an evaluation to insure all went well and were pleased to return excellent ratings in all aspects of this project.

Overall Tom and Justin were awesome. Great professionals and high quality build. We had 5 new doors put in and the job was done right. They showed up on time each day and cleaned up once they were done and overall couldn't be happier. Only ding is for communication as sometimes it was slow (would wait a few days) but would definitely recommend hiring for your next project.

After 26 years, the two doors leading from my garage to the outside were rusting and the frames were rotting. After getting a few bids for replacements, Southern Pride Openings presented the best value. One of the other guys, during his presentation of the bid actually commented, "It's not a Provia, but it is a good door" when talking about his product. Southern Pride came in at the exact same price, with a Provia, and with far more total value. No brainer. And I haven't regretted the decision. They were a pleasure to work with. Small family owned business, but first class all the way. Their installer was great too; punctual, good worker, got the job done right. I'm a very happy customer.

Another window company had installed a window that was too long and in the process had removed a portion the outside window sill and frame of the window casing. Southern installed the correct size window and repaired the damaged window sill and window casing. The window looks beautiful. Southern did a wonderful job.

After researching multiple window companies and price comparison I elected to use Southern Pride and couldn’t be happier. Not only were they less expensive than their comptetitors they installed higher quality windows with an extensive warranty and customer satisfaction guarantee. My old windows were removed and new windows installed in a day. SPO was sure to clean up all debris from removal and install and haul it off my property. They even went the extra mile of sweeping entire driveway to make sure no small remnants were left behind! I’ve been glad to recommend their services to others and hear positive feedback from those who’ve used SPO!

Southern Pride Openings provided all the services exactly as contracted. We asked them to replace every window in the house (14 total). We selected the new windows and Tom took the measurements on 1 December. The windows were installed on 4 Jan. We are totally satisfied with the entire process from selection and measurements, scheduling, and installation. This is a very professional team. No high pressure tactics. Highly skilled workmanship. We are very pleased with the quality and look of our new windows. Very pleased we found this great company. Loved doing business with them.

The whole experience was very professional. They scheduled an appointment right away to review the work required, gave me options and ideas, measured all the windows, and gave me an estimate very promptly (within 25 hours). We had already researched called 2 other companies. We felt extremely comfortable with their experience, competence, product, and pricing. We ordered the all the windows and were given a 4-6 week manufacturing window. We received a call at the end of week 5 and the installation was set up within the following week. It took two days to complete the process the crew was very careful and covered floors and furniture well. They cleaned up after themselves (I touched up the cleaning to my liking as this produces a lot of dust). We are very please with our new windows and can already tell a huge difference in the ability to keep a steady temperature in the house as well as noise reduction (had single panes windows from the 60’s). I have already recommended them to one friend and will keep them in mind for future projects.

Tom did a wonderful job with our Patio Door. Our door was so worn and had aged, but he offered some great recommendations and we truly love our new door. He and his staff were very professional and prompt. I would recommend Southern Pride Openings for your Patio or Front Door replacement.

I was so impressed by Southern Pride. I needed 2 new windows for a room with a sunny west exposure, that in summertime got very warm with the old windows. They sent a representative who went over my options and gave me a very useful demonstration of the window type he recommended. Follow-up including downpayment, measurments, and installation went very well with professionalism, promptness, and patience. The installer cleaned up everything, and brought his own gray dumpster to haul away the old windows. I thought the cost of these high quality windows was very reasonable. The new windows are in and work as expected! Summertime afternoon heating is way way down and the room is much more comfortable. I would not hesitate to use Southern Pride again.
