Over a period of two years, we had Tom and his crew replace all the doors and windows to our house. The original doors had been damaged by the previous owner's neglect, and not all the windows were effective in keeping wind, moisture, and summer heat out of the house. Tom, Kelli, and the people at Southern Pride were easy to work with, polite, and professional. Our new doors and windows are attractive and perform well at keeping the heat outside in the warmer months and inside in the cooler months. We would certainly hire them again if we need door and/or window work.

Everything was AWESOME! They were so patient with me and were willing to come out multiple times to answer questions. The hardest part is having to put this much money into something that you can't touch and see beforehand. I wanted better quality than what I was seeing at the home improvement stores, and I wanted one company to be responsible for manufacturing of door though to install. Justin came today and was SUPERB! He was very detailed and expected perfection! He even put my security door sensors back on this door, as well as the one in garage, which the other installer couldn't figure out. He even suggested using Velcro instead of double stick tape to help with battery changes going forward. The quality of the Provia door was beautiful and while it was an investment, it certainly looks rich looking and adds to the value of my home! I especially like that this is a family owned business with Christian values, and they have delivered on every promise.

Friendly, good product, reasonable prices

One of the doors was the exit to my patio. It was done first, and easily done in one day. The other door is actually 2 doors (french doors) on the second floor. The challenge was getting the doors up to the 2nd floor, but they had it worked out and it went very smoothly. I am extremely pleased with the finished product and would definitely recommend Southern Pride for door replacement. The doors are very high quality, the service that Southern Pride provides is exceptional!

The entire team from southern pride was fantastic to work with. From the 1st visit for the sale, through the scheduling and emails, and finally the installation. A great experience. Very nice people and the end result is perfect. Very happy!

In addition to extensive research, I met with the top window replacement companies in the area so I feel like I had a good idea about cost, quality and options. Southern Pride Openings was at the top of the list hands down. From the beginning they were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and committed to doing the best job possible. Salesman Tom answered my questions and had great product information. The office staff was so easy to work with for scheduling and confirming details of the actual install. Justin did an incredible job on installation. He got here early in the day and worked until after dark to complete the project. He was focused on getting the job done and cleaned up like it never happened. Tom and his crew did an excellent job replacing my windows and glass door! Windows and doors are a significant investment so I did a lot of price-shopping and research before selecting Southern Pride. Without a doubt, Southern Pride was the right decision! Their pricing was great, their windows are excellent quality, and the workmanship is outstanding. I cannot say enough great things about Tom and Southern Pride Openings. He does outstanding work and, on top of that, he is just a really kind, generous man. He installed my windows a couple of years ago (I have another review for that work). The windows are beautiful and made a huge difference in the comfort of my home and my electric bill. Today Tom came out to fix a leaky window and a torn screen. Well, the leaky window was an operator error (how embarrassing!). He re-screened the screen and put it back on. He would not take a penny from me for today's visit. There was not a single thing wrong that would have been considered warranty work, yet he wouldn't let me pay him. I don't plan to replace my windows again, but if I did, I'd call Tom and no one else. Thank you, Tom.

The demo/sales pitch was extremely thorough: basically, "Sliding Windows 101". Great product at a good price. The patio doorway was especially impressive.

They have argon gas in the center and they are beautiful! The picture window in my piano studio is gorgeous, I just love it! They did it all in 2 days. They were amazing! The cost was worth it, they do such a good job! I chose them because my daughter had used them and were very pleased with their work.

The person who did the initial consultation and quote was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Provided a demo on the effectiveness of materials used for the new Windows. When the windows were delivered the installer also had a good professional manner.

Showed up on time to each appointment. Replaced 75 year old windows with good quality vinyl. Reasonable price for what we ordered. Cleaned up after themselves. Communicated well. A flaw was found in one of the windows and they took care of replacements as quickly as manufacturing would allow. Even gave me the name of a drywaller that they use who also turned out to deliver excellent work. Would hire them again and will suggest them to anyone who asks about windows.

Excellent job, would highly recommend them. Everything was very pleasant and efficient. Not the cheapest but great quality doors and received plenty of compliments from the neighbors.

I can not say enough good things about this company. Tom will come out and help you select a door , he'll take as much time as you need. His company sells a fantastic product. I am so happy with my new door. The install went great. They really make sure it is done right.

Flawlessly and with quality! Meticulous attention to details, probably the best install I have ever seen! Not quick - he took his time to get it right. Cleaned up after. Could not have been better. The door is better quality, with three points of security. Very quality oriented company!

This company is amazing!! (I was surprised to find them (via Angie's List) right here in my own city, after an unsuccessful search at local "home supply" stores and internet search.) They came to my home within a few days, showed me the options, we haggled on prices, got discounts and a week later, the owner of Southern Pride came out and verified all of the measurements to assure they were correct. The door and frame was then ordered. Our fiberglass door came from Amish country and took about 6 weeks to get made and shipped here. The following week it was installed. The attention to detail by the installer was ASTOUNDING! It actually took him over 10 hours as he made minute adjustments to assure the new door was mounted true. He did not rush, he took time to show us how he corrected some minor problems that came from the old door. He returned a week later to patch some small nail holes and saw cuts, so the wood trim looks absolutely flawless. It was a class act from start to finish. Truly remarkable little company that we would enthusiastically recommend to anybody!

I waited a litt bit to complete this review because I wanted to evaluate the workmanship and quality of the door and I must say I am very happy to have a quality door and a workmanship that was proven to be great. They were courteous and professional from the beginning to the end and Larry was pleasant to work with and Chris did an excellent job. We will definitely revisit them for the front door.

They did an amazing job. I love my new doors, and I have gotten lots of compliments on how they look. The new doors have added peace of mind because of the added security as well as savings on energy costs. The doors had to be adjusted several times through no fault of the installers. I did not realize I had foundation repair issues. But Tom and Justin and the whole crew could not have been more responsive, professional and helpful. They all know their business and were a pleasure to work with. And I would not have let just anybody work on my mom's house. Great product, great people. I would recommend this company and their products to anyone. When I get my next doors, I will be calling these people.
