Great job! Brought in on a Tues, ready by Thursday. Honest, did only what was needed at the time. Helped me load and unload the mower from my car. Will definitely use Dave and refer him to friends and family!

He takes cash and check only, but this helps keep cost down. He knows his business, does a great job, and offers excellent advice. Single owner who does all the work.

The price was wonderful. He was just very personable, he knew what he was doing. We gave the job to him one day and it was back the very next day. We picked it up and it's been running like a top ever since.

Dave's Cycle did an excellent job overhauling the lawn vacuum. When I took it in the pull cord was broken and it was difficult to get started. They did a major overhaul and when I got the lawn vacuum back it started easily......like new!! In fact 2 years later it is still starting on the first pull. It was 5 years old when I took it into Dave's Cycles. Now it is 7 years old and going strong. I will take it back later this year for a tune-up. I definitely recommend taking your lawn equipment to Dave's Cycle. They will get it back to like new working condition. I will be taking all of my lawn equipment to Dave's Cycle.

Dave was great! I dropped off the mower and he informed me that the gas had gone bad. He drained the tank, added new gas, sharpened the blade and did a tune up. I had the mower back in one day. He was very honest and up front about whether or not the mower was worth fixing. The mower starts easier now than it did the day I brought it home! Sharpest blade I have ever seen from any other shops. I have had the mower about 6 years and have had it serviced every two years. Very large orderly shop. I definitely recommend Dave's Cycles and Small Engine!!

It went spectacular. I dropped it off at 10:30. Dave called me and said it was worth fixing. He told me how much, and I gave him the go ahead. He called me at 3:00 and told me it was ready to go. Dave not only fixed the engine problems with the Pug, he also fixed the simple transmission which doesn't go into gear regularly. He also gave me a can of "super" starting fluid in case the Pug failed to start when I'm in the "back 40" and need to get it going. Wow!

I took the mower to Dave's. He gave a time and cost estimate, which he met.

I took my high pressure sprayer that had not been operated for over 5 years to Dave. He told me up front the pumps occasionally will not perform if left unused for that long but promised to check out the engine and pump. The next morning when I picked up the sprayer he said the pump took a little while to start working properly but everything was working now. I used it the next day and it worked great.

Dave will tell you he'll poke around to figure out what is wrong. He will also tell you if it is worth fixing. Lucky for me he said my riding mower was worth fixing and I could get a few more years out of it while I look for a new riding mower. He repaired the riding lawn mower. The blade activation system does not deactivate and would be too expensive to fix. So the solution is shut the mower off to deactivate the blades. I now have plenty of time to look for a new riding mower and still can get my lawn mowed. My Honda Fourtrax ATV was also serviced by Dave. He has it running like new and ready for deer season!

He did an outstanding job of fixing my mower, and he went above and beyond by sharpening my blade and changing the oil.

My Snapper mower had been stored outside for a few years and I had not used it in at least 2 years. When I tried to start it up, I found a leak in the fuel system. I took it to Dave for a general going over and tune up. He put it back in working order in 1 day. The service included checking the belts, a carb kit (new gaskets), sharpened the blade, new fuel line and adjust the throttle. It runs like a champ again starting on the first pull most of the time. Thanks for the quick service.

.I dropped off my trimmer and got my claim check with nothing outwardly different than you'd expect. Once it was ready (right on time to when he said it would be), I went to pick it up. This is where I was impressed: the owner described to me that a lot of these tools are built to be disposable, with cheap components that cost more to replace than to just buy a new one. Even with that in mind, he gave me advice on how to maximize the life of my tools. Things like making sure not to use old gas, to drain the tank when it's not going to be used for a while, etc. He was very friendly and had a lot of passion for his work, we probably talked for 10-15 solid minutes above and beyond just delivering my tool in a friendly and efficient manner. I will definitely return.

His service was very fast and very reasonable. I will bring my mower to him for regular service.

Called to have my small lawn equipmet checked out for the spring. I was informed they no longer do work on small yard equipment (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc) due to cost constraints. His experience is that is evidently cheaper to buy new equipment than to have your current equipment serviced. He did inform me they still worked on regular mowers, riding mowers, and motorcycles. Very pleasant and informative but they need to adjust their advertised service catagory on here if they no longer provide the service. It would save everyone a lot of time and maybe a trip down there. I'm glad I called before I drove 40miles each way just to be told it was due to misadvertisment. Thanks.

Dave gave my ailing string trimmer a once over, gave me an estimate, asked if I needed it back same day (on a Saturday, and I did for convenience sake), and took my phone number. Couple of hours later it was running like it was supposed to and the cost was less than the estimate. I'll go to Dave for all my small engine work from now on and consider him for motorcycle work. Plus, there are some cool vintage bikes around the shop to take a look at. Someone already mentioned that he doesn't take plastic, but he told me that when I dropped off my unit so I was prepared when I went to pick it up.

We have a Echo weedeater that was leaking gas. Called an talked to Dave, he stated right from the start that depending on what's wrong, sometimes they're not worth fixing due to repair costs, but that we could bring it in & he'd have a look at it. Dropped off the weedeater Saturday afternoon & received a call Monday @ noon, stating the weedeater was fixed and we could pick it up.

I dropped off the trimmer, and Dave was happy to chat with me about what he thought the problem would be after a quick examination. He let me know that if it were more serious, he'd contact me before doing further work, because it might not be worth what it would cost (i.e., protecting me from wasting my money.) I appreciated that. The work was done on time, and the trimmer works fine now.

My lawn mower just conked out in the middle of cutting my lawn without warning. I checked out Dave's review on Angies List and decided to give him a try. Took it in and explained to him my issue. He told me what work he was going to perform, provided an estimate and when I can expect the work to be complete. He said if he found any other issues he'd let me know. Nothing was found and he got it done in about two, maybe three, days which is sooner than he quoted. I took it home and gave it a run. It cut the entire yard but it sputtered along the way. So I called him and he asked me to bring it back it. Turns out all he had to do to fix the sputter was adjust the throttle, free of charge of course. He tested the mower before I left on some foot-tall weeds next to his building and it cut it down without a challenge. Dave stands by his work and I would gladly go back again if I had an another issue. I'm glad I found his place of business here on Angies List!
