Very pleased. Tony did a great job. Removed the wall paper, refinished the dry wall surface, painted primer, and then two coats of paint. Looks excellent.

Bruce and his team painted a large portion of the interior of our brand new home. We gave them multiple room colors, two-tone paint request, and crown molding. They nailed it! Oh, and we threw in some detailed trim work at the last minute and their team did outstanding. From priming, to caulking and final paint it all looks great! They knocked it out in 2 days and did so prior to our move in date! Carnival was accommodating, easy to work with and very helpful with choices and decisions that had to be made. The crew was friendly and professional. I would 100% recommend them and will be calling them soon to finish painting our interior and fence. We could not be happier and our house looks beautiful. Thank you Bruce and Carnival!!!

Working with Brian and his crew was terrific. I used Angie's list to get three quotes, and although not the cheapest, Brian was the only one who was really clear about what trim pieces needed to be replaced and how they paint the window frames to avoid rust problems. He was very detail oriented and knowledgeable. The work was easy to schedule and the crew finished the work in a single afternoon. I thought it was going to take a couple of days and hadn't decided on the color for the front door. Brian said not to worry - call them back when I pick a color and they'll come back out. It was a couple of weeks later and the crew manager stopped by to paint the front door with no extra charge for my inability to pick colors. :) The house looks great and the price quoted is exactly what I was billed - no surprises. Highly recommend these guys. They know what they're doing and they're courteous and professional. Couldn't be better. It's been a few months and I don't remember the exact amount I paid. Don't use my $1300 estimate for price comparisons.

called Carnival Painting and spoke to Brian. He gave us a very reasonable price and did the work as promised. His crew is very professional and did an excellent job. I will definitely recommend Carnival Painting and use his services again. Very happy with his work!!!

They did an excellent job, were nice, and on time. They finished everything in 1 day.

After 8 years of living in my rental home, my heavy smoker tenant moved out and left behind her the home in a complete disaster of nicotine stains on ceilings, walls, trims, doors... Bruce came and gave me suggestions on what should be done to get rid of all the nicotine smells and stains... He sent the estimate the next day which it was fair price. After several phone calls, I couldn't decide on the paint colors so I trusted Bruce to pick up the colors for the ceilings, walls, doors, trims and closets. The complete job was absolutely fantastic!!! Bruce and his crew are very professional, clean, and did an excellent paint job!! I did not find any paint drips on windows, counters, floors, fans or lighting fixtures... not one drop. My husband and I own 12 rental properties and we've worked with many painters over the last 10 years. We can say that we finally found our painter and we even think to call Bruce when we are ready to paint our own home.

After finding Carnival on Angie's List, I called to set up an appointment for a quote to paint the interior of my 3 BR/2 BA home. We agreed on a date and time. On the day scheduled, Bruce showed up promptly, listened to my description of the services I wanted and explained in detail how the process would work. He told me he would email a quote. Email with quote was received, just as promised. In reviewing the quote, I realized that I actually needed a little more done than was spelled out. I emailed Bruce with the details and he responded the next day with a revised quote, addressing everything I needed. The work was scheduled to be done approximately two weeks later. Again, Bruce arrived when promised, and explained what was going to happen. The crew arrived shortly thereafter and work began. Everything happened just as Bruce explained. He showed again at the end of that day and the beginning/end of the second day to make everything met my expectations. The job was completed in the time time and amount agreed upon. The house looks fantastic. Very, very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work. I'd recommend to anyone in need of a reasonable, high quality paint job.

Bruce came out to give an estimate pretty quickly after I called Carnival. The estimate was detailed and involved removing wall paper, re texturing some walls, painting closets and shelves, painting walls and all cabinets except kitchen. He answered all my questions and made suggestions so that the job would give us good results. He went out of his way to give us an estimate for darker cabinets as our original bid was for white cabinets, which I changed later. We are scheduled to start in 1.5 weeks since he gave us an estimate, which is pretty quick. The bid was very competitive. I am looking forward to a beautifully painted house. Will post my next review after the job is done.

Original plan was to repaint the front part of the garage, where the old paint was peeling; bt it soon became apparent (when scraping) that all the paint was coming loose from the wall. Carnival explained the situation clearly and was more than fair about the increase in the cost (and the price on the original agreement already was very fair). The job was completed in a timely way, with great professionalism. We are completely satisfied, and would recommend Carnival to anyone looking for a good painter.

My wife and I have been in our newly built home for about 8 months and I have been working on the trim for almost that amount of time. The builder when installing did not do a good cosmetic job. Finally I grew tired of doing this and decided to hire a painter. This task was not as easy as I had hoped due to the size of the job I could not get a painter to commit or return my calls. In looking at Carnival's reviews I decided, with trepidation, to contact them. I am extremely glad I did! The bid process was set up by Brian Beltran and carried out with his twin brother Bruce Beltran. Process went very well with good communication and discussion of what I wanted and what I thought I wanted. The five man crew who showed up arrived on time with all materials needed. They did an EXCELLENT job for what they had to work with. I am a firm believer that a paint project is the best with a good foundation. In my case my "foundation" was messed up from the builder. The only way to make perfect was to either completely replace or completely sand down. Both cost prohibitive. Based upon this the guys sanded, blended, corrected and painted all my trim. It looks fantastic and I cannot express how happy I am!!! Additionally, while they painted the trim I was doing wall touch ups so I got to work with the crew a little bit. I had an excellent time with them and it was fun. I highly recommend Carnival Painting and plan on having them out again to spray my doors for me.

We reviewed and met with many different painting services and he is by the far the best. Brian is absolutely one of, if not the best, overall service providers we've ever used. His crew did excellent work and for a very fair price. We highly recommend Carnival Painting.

Installers were great. Very precise with their measurements and thorough. Painters were another crew and did an excellent job of filling holes, caulking and painting. The results were beautiful! Brian is excellent to work with, timely, responsive and follows-up. Also held to a quote from August of last year which was wonderful and the delay was on our side. Can't wait to use them to paint the outside of our house.

I just bought a house in Lakeway and due to various remodeling and repairs, I've been dealing with lots of contractors. I have been so disappointed so many times so far with poor workmanship, unreliability, and even some dishonesty. Throughout, there has been only one gem in a series of disappointments. Carnival Custom Painting did a remarkable job. Their finished work exceeded my expectations but it was the whole process from estimate to clean up that impressed me. Brian was on time and his estimate was extremely detailed and thorough. He set my expectations about everything that was coming and he never disappointed me. He was helpful with colors and when I went to Sherwin Williams to get some samples, they raved about Brian and his crew. Brian doesn't subcontract. The people (crew) who show up have all worked with him for a long time. Brian's foreman, Richard is very conscientious and made sure they all went the extra mile. With a job this big, there will always be a few glitches. Brian made that clear right from the start. I reviewed the job over the next few days and found the inevitable few areas for touch up. Richard and crew showed up right on time and fixed it all with no headaches. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of all of this was the fact that Brian asked for no payment up front. That's right, not half, not a quarter, nothing. Not one cent. You have to believe in what you are doing to be able to offer a payment plan like that. I had all the control and when I wrote him the check I was so glad to do it. Brian is not the most expensive nor is he the cheapest but for my experience, he and his team are the undisputed best.

When I called them initially to schedule the appointment, they were professional. I took the day off from work and they never showed up to the appointment. I tried to get a hold of them several times, but they never got back to me.

Brian and his twin were very good at coming out to make the bid and being there for the first day of the painting to make sure everything was okay. The painting crew was very hard working, professional, and courteous. There was one small thing I wanted corrected and they came back out to make it right. They also made sure I was 100% satisfied with the paint job before there was any talk of payment.

Not well. My home is 1243 square feet and he estimated it would cost an additional $1800.00+ to paint it. He actually had the gall to complain that 'Angie's List came to me and this is the deal they offered.' As though he couldn't have turned it down. I expected to pay more because I wanted a quality paint but with his attitude, and the escalated 'bait and switch' deal, I just couldn't go through with it.

Brian came to our house and gave us an estimate to do more than the 1800 square feet of painting in the Angie's list promotion which was limited to 1800 square feet of painting. Since our requirements did not match up with the Angie's list promotion, we decided to get some more estimates.

The front door took all day, and still sticks when I open it. I think they should have sanded it first

He had a whole team, an interior team and exterior team. I wasn't home but they dealt well with my wife, they seemed very courteous, they walked in, and we had a great experience with them. They moved the furniture. We didn't have to do anything. They did everything. We actually had a quote from them to do the exterior as well. They will probably be doing the exterior shortly. The interior was between $2800 and $3000. He quoted me $2000 for the exterior. I referred him to my friends. He is really great. He came in and got everything together. He lets you know this is his price and this is his quality. If you want that quality then it's great, but if you want to go with something cheaper and it takes longer, no hard feelings and he appreciates your time. We like that. It was a little bit more than a few of the estimates that we have received, but the reason we went with him is the other companies told us it will be a prolonged project and it will be almost a week long trying to get it painted. He was able to come in with a crew that knew what they were doing and did a good quality job. He came back the next day after everything was completed, did a walk through inspection of every room, looked for blemishes or touch up places, and was able to correct those issues if they were found. We were overall pleased with his customer service. We were looking at, maybe, $2,500 to do the inside and ended up being closer to $3,000, but he was in and out. It was only a day and a half of destruction in our lives. When you are bringing somebody in to paint the interior of the house, having your home available, having the furniture moved, they took care of all that. I called him for the exterior of the home and he was there that afternoon to do an estimate. He was very punctual. I never had to wait for him.

Brian and his team are wonderful. I can't say enough about how much we appreciate them fitting us in during a busy time. We called Brian last minute and he accommodated us even though he was already booked. Brian is a wonderful consultant when it comes to choosing paint finishes for your project. He is a great resource. His team is fast and really talented. We love Richard, his team leader, and he is a master painter. We couldn't be more happy with the work that they have done for us. We have used them several times and we will use them again in the future. We highly recommend them.

Carnival did a great job. Began with a wonderfully professional estimate. Carnival was the highest of three estimates but specified two coats in some areas and no spray application which were not in the other bids. The estimating process and the prepared estimate gave me confidence (later justified) that I was dealing with a professional organization. Showed up on-time and totally prepared with everything required to complete the job. From the first minute on the job an impression of competence and efficiency was created and the supervisor and staff were attentive to the smallest detail. The crew clearly had good working conditions and took adequate lunches and breaks. Nothing ever seemed rushed or concerning but progress was incredibly rapid and quality was evident in prep work, covering of furniture, etc. Lines were straight, coverage was excellent and surfaces had no casually detected brush marks or any other defect. No job is absolutely perfect, but these folks come pretty close. The job was finished more quickly than I had been told to expect, even though I added on a room. The price was a little high. I took the actual hours of the crew and calculated labor costs and benefits extremely generously, added on the paint costs at retail, added on overhead/marketing/management and a generous profit margin and still came up well short of what I paid. I am still happy with the project and Carnival and will ask them to bid on the exterior painting when I do that. My experience with contractors in Austin has been miserable in terms of quality and it sure is a nice feeling to find an additional one to add to the small number I can recommend. Carnival did a great job.

Brian had his crew do exactly what he promised, getting our interior totally painted before we moved in. There was some "crazy" colors to cover up(a purple, green and red rooms) can't see any of it now. Needed just one are touched up and a piece of moulding nailed in properly, Brian had his guy to my place within an hour of my calling about it. Would recommend.

He came out and said he was going to give me a price and I never heard back from him. I never heard a peep. He never called me back or gave me a price. Never checked back to see if he had the wrong email address. I know he has my phone number because I talked to him 3 times on the phone before he ever came out. I'm doing the work myself because I'm tired of messing around with him. It was a huge waste of my time. He was punctual when he showed up at my house but wasn't punctual afterwards.

Brian Beltran called immediately upon getting my referral from Home Advisors. We made an appointment and he arrived promptly. He surveyed the house and explained what the job would involve. And he had a color selector from Sherwin Williams so that I did not have to go to S-W to make a selection. He helped with the color selection, explaining the way different shades would cover the existing paint. Brian got all the info he needed and left with me a folder of information. He emailed the estimate to me and I compared it to two others I had gotten. They were all about the same. So I made my selection based on Angies List reviews and Brian's handling of the contact from the moment he called me and Home Advisor ratings. Brian is a very professional contractor I have come across, very patient, willing to answer even about minor things. We arranged a date for the job but due to a problem at the house, it had to be moved. Brian made special accommodations to have his crew work two late days to get the job done. They were an excellent hardworking crew, working late into the night. They cleaned up just fine. Brian estimated the amount of paint needed so well that one of the paints had barely any left in it! Although any a little extra would have been good to have on hand.
