Todd was great. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot for him to do! The noise ended up being lent caught in the hose and the burn smell was the lent burning. All is now good and the dryer is working fine. The noise and smell went away after a couple of minutes.

I submitted a service request on the AMS Appliance website and received a phone call from Todd in less than an hour. I described the problem and Todd was able to determine that the oven igniter needed to be replaced. He explained how the igniter works and why it can stop working when it gets old. Todd was able to come to my house the next morning and arrived right on time. He was friendly and professional. He was happy to answer my questions and had the igniter replaced and tested in about 30 minutes. I would definitely use AMS Appliance again.

I chose AMS from my Angie's List research. Todd returned my initial message within a reasonable amount of time. He arrived earlier than scheduled, but called ahead to see if the time change was acceptable..The repair took less than a hour. I asked him to leave the refrigerator out so I could clean behind it, but I assume Todd would take proper care of any customer's floor.when moving an appliance.

They tested and assessed the washer and dryer before repairing it. It is working well now. I liked the flexibility in terms of them being able to meet with me, the thoroughness of the testing to identify the problem, and their friendliness. The workers were very professional, kind and friendly to my kids. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Very knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and professional. Todd was able to diagnose the problem and it's solution over the phone, something even the Whirlpool technical support group was unable to do. Repair appointment was scheduled immediately after he was able to receive the ordered part. Repair was done efficiently, conveniently, quickly, correctly and at a very fair price. Todd was even willing and able to offer a suggestion for a dependable handyman service for some non-appliance work I need done. Would definitely highly recommend AMS Appliance for any major appliance repair.

Excellent, professional and thorough. The switch which was bad had two circuits-one for the light and one for the burner. Since the light still worked, I assumed the switch was OK, however the burner circuit was shorted out. Once the switch was replaced, all is well

Diagnosed what more then likely was the problem over the phone with me and ordered the part before he came out to be more efficient. Todd was very professional and knew what he was doing. Great experience.

He was very professional and did a great job. I felt he was really reasonable. The downside was that he couldn't make it out until Wednesday, but it wasn't anything too urgent. I'm definitely going to use him again, as I felt he was really honest and very professional.

A few years back, a different company replaced my cooling fan, which moves the cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator, with an old part - it was noisy and sounded like a helicopter landing when it would cycle off and on. The fan ultimately faltered, so I called Todd. I also arranged for him to replace my very leaky freezer gasket. The estimate for both was a bit over $300. The fan took a few days to order, but my refrigerator was somewhat cool, so I was not desperate. Todd replaced the fan with a nice, quiet new fan and told me I didn't need the new gasket - also said the way the new gasket would seat with screws, it would leak as well. He asked for my hair dryer, softened the old rubber gasket, molded it to the door, and presto - a free fix! The gasket hasn't leaked since! And now I know what to do if it does. Last night my dishwasher would not start. Todd ran me through possibilities on the phone, and darned if a wall switch that had never been turned off in the 8 years I've been here hadn't been somehow turned off. No trip, no cost, working dishwasher.

I called on a Saturday and left a message. Todd called first thing Monday morning and came right over. He had the machine fixed in half an hour.

I had called Todd before for advice on replacing a 6 1/2 yr. old Whirlpool Calypso washer whose control panel had fried during an electrical surge. His advice as good: replace the washer instead of paying $300.00 plus to fix the washer. Todd called ahead of time and arrived on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me good advice on how to correct the problem without additional expense. He is a professional and would recommend him to anyone.

Todd showed up on time, explained the problem thoroughly and easily, and had the problem corrected in less than 20 minutes.
