I am a bit disappointed that after 4 calls and messages to schedule an service call, we were ultimately unable to get client to confirm. Description of Work: I signed up for their deal of the day package and I'm so glad I did. I purchased a new home and their inspection put my mind at ease about the roof. They fixed a couple minor issues they found and gave me a fair estimate on some areas that could be improved.They were great and I'll call them for any roofing needs that come up in the future.

Description of Work: The service contractor sent was nice enough, but hard to pin down on a specific time for completion of my work. Since this was on my roof, I have no way to judge the quality of work. I will depend on Angie's list to recommend a trustworthy workman.

Description of Work: After inspecting roof per the deal, we were advised to contact insurance to appraise hail damage to roof in addition to the damage around chimney that caused the original leak. Starr did the chimney repair as well as managing roof replacement through insurance.

As an owner I'm always a bit disappointed to see a poor review. This clients roof was leaking and in need repair-redesign- replacement. Starr had two inspectors with 40 plus years of roofing experience look at the roof. We presented a conservative repair estimate that was rejected by the client. The $99 roof maintenance package purchased is a great deal....It does not however cover extensive repairs. Pete

Description of Work: Received initial email that service would be done by Steve. Received voicemail from Steve while on vacation. Told him I would return in 3 days, Friday 8/28/15. He said he would go to the house, do the initial assessment while I was away, leave me a card and would call me to set up a time to discuss. I waited 5 days and have not heard back from anyone at Starr Roofing. I reached out after going on vacation and no one felt to do the same. I am disappointed that my home or business is not that important. We have decided to go with someone else and would like a total refund of our deposit. Thank You.

Hello this is Pete Reed, owner of Starr Roofing. I am a bit taken back and disappointed by this negative review. Starr strives for 100% customer satisfaction. I contacted this member regarding replacing her roof after she purchased a re-roof big deal. I was advised that she was preparing to be out of town and would be contacting us upon her return. I was not made aware of return date or itinerary. Our project manager inspected and measured the roof during her absence. An estimate was prepared and waiting for approval upon her return. When the estimate was presented, the owner replied that an unexpected financial situation would prohibit them from moving forward with the project No mention was made to us regarding time frame of our response to her service request. .I suspect that the estimate was beyond their expectations and budget. We had initiated numerous phone calls and conducted a complete inspection of the roof, and provided a detailed estimate to complete the project. Starr remains a best practices, best products, best warranty, service provider. We strive to be the best of the best everyday, every customer. Thanks for reading Pete

Description of Work: Replaced all siding on our upper deck wall, added a gutter system, replaced old doors and windows and repaired leak along chimney. They brought in porta-potty and removed all trash, cleaned up well afterward- did an excellent job. We were out of town and they sent photos of progress via email.
