I have been using TruGreen for many years and have been very pleased with the service. My lawn always looks great! When we first moved into our current home, the lawn was in terrible condition; however, with regular applications from TruGreen the lawn has recovered and stands out. Our neighbors have all commented on how great our yard looks. I follow the instructions that they leave on my door in order to maximize the results. My technician is professional and friendly. They always call ahead and are on time and on schedule. If you want your lawn to be in tip top shape, I recommend them highly.

I've been using them for years. My lawn looks terrible. My neighbors, who don't use anyone, have far better looking lawns than mine and I have a sprinkler system (important in Texas) and they don't. I called them and asked for a consultation last week and they said someone would be out last Thursday to do a treatment and that the area manager would call me. Neither has happened.

I could not have been more dissapointed with not only how embarassing my lawn looks but the complete lack of customer service I have received from them. And it is getting severely worse the last few years!! I have been a customer for over 7 years and paid them over $9,500 in services. Yet I cannot get a retun phone call from them, they miss appointments when scheduled, and do not have the courtesy to call you when they fail to deliver - which has been often. When I ask for their top manager to call me - nothing - same for the Corproate office - nothing. Even when the girl took my call to cancel she made no attempt to save me and said she was not surprised! On eoperator even hung up on me when I insisted a local manager return my call! I finally cancelled their service on one of my homes (a lake home) and the new provider has it looking better than ever. I should have cancelled my other home service as well but wanted to afford them an opportunity to redeem themselves. I unerstand they are owned by Servicemaster which also owns TERMINIX, which I also have for the same long period of time. This too will be cancelled when I am finsihed posting this. BEWARE - CAUTION - DO NOT USE their services, especially if you reside in the Colleyville, TX area - you will be sorry and have the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood. I have wasted my time and money and now have to find another provider to right the wrongs of Trugreen Chemlawn. NEVER, EVER, EVER, AGAIN. They are the worst service providers I have ever used for any home service.

My lawn was in pretty good shape when they took over, today it is horrible. I am looking for another lawn service.

The people have been very professional and they let me know when they're coming out. The grass looks great and I can see it getting a lot better with a couple more treatments.

I have DirecTV as my TV provider - TruGreen advertised with them that before they do any work, they?ll come & walk the property with you & imply in the commercial that they?ll assess your property & determine what you need. I called them. A few mornings later, without an appointment or any notice to my recollection, I hear a truck & I find a TruGreen man spraying my backyard finding out he'd already completed the front! I came up to him & asked what I could do for him. I asked if there was supposed to be an evaluation ? He said that there was no need to do that & he could assess as he sprayed! I called the office & asked why they advertised something but I didn?t receive it. I talked to a manager & felt I got a less than satisfactory response. Next thing I know, the same man is back out spraying my yard with still no assessment done! I got a bill in the mail today ? A past due reminder! I?ve never received any previous billing! I called them & asked what was going on & was told that they?d waived part of the fee due to my previous call & concern. I was asked why I wanted to discontinue my service ? I declined to give any major comments aside from saying that I didn?t receive what was advertised on TV. Instead I got someone just spraying my yard. When I first called them, I?d indicated that I?d had other lawn care services who just came out & just sprayed my lawn & that I didn?t want that again. But that?s exactly what I got! My lawn looks no different than it did before. I called them & asked for no more bills because of these continued problems. I was told it would be credited. If I'm not, I will be very upset!

I did not choose them. I decided that I could do the job more economically. They were responsive.

Used them past few years on ongoing contract, yard full of weeds. Not pleased with quality of work.

I will continue to use them. I have a whole lot of contracts with them.

Complete failure. After two aseasons my lawn is much worse then bfore trueGreen started taking care of it. The last few times they showed up I observed them doing their work. Very sloppy and rushed. They "finished" treating my 1/3 acre yard in 15 minutes or less.

He is so reasonable and he is wonderful. He is professional, responsive and punctual.

The service guy arrived on time. He said they don't do an initial soil analysis. I asked him specifically why. He replied that "all the yards in this area are about the same". He was only here about 10 minutes for the initial treatment. It's a small yard, but I don't believe he could have done too much. Also they were pushing aeration very much, which is only needed under certain conditions, which we don't have. The worst thing was that they put us on a bank account draft. They had no prior permission to do this and this is totally unethical unless the account holder signs a permission statement. I have no idea how they were able to accomplish this without such a statement. Also, I had a discount coupon for the initial treatment. They charged the full amount anyway. I called and cancelled the service immediately. Nobody called from the company to follow up or see what the problem was. Later I received a card in the mail offering to reinstate service. No thanks!!

They're pretty easy to deal with. They call when they're coming and put the bill on the door.

TruGreen was on time for their initial consultation appointment. We expected them to do a soil analysis and instead they did a visual inspection of our yard. We signed up for service that day. After signing up for fertilization and weed control treatments, we found that TruGreen would call us every few weeks to try to up sale other services (aeration, etc). We asked them to stop these calls and after our second firm request, they stopped calling. Every TruGreen employee we met was always friendly and quickly got the job done. We received an initial schedule of all the year's treatments when we signed up for service. We also got a reminder postcard in the mail several days before a treatment was scheduled. We made sure to unlock our gate on the day of treatment and lock the pets inside the house. TruGreen left a small sign on our lawn after our yard had been treated. They also left an invoice and lawn care information on our door after treatment. It was nice not having to worry about fertilization and weed treatments but we thought the cost was too much. I never saw a noticeable difference in the condition of our yard compared to past years when we just bought fertilizer from a home improvement store and spread it on the lawn ourselves. I would try another lawn company if I ever decided to sign-up for service again. I would be interested to see if I got the same results or not.

They do the best job of any service we've ever had. They are dependable and punctual. We have nothing bad to say about them. Everyone who has come has been courteous, neat, and friendly.

There was one day that they sent out a younger guy to fertilize my lawn and my lawn is pretty big and I have a security system with cameras. Well, I caught him on film barely doing any spraying at all. Needless to say that I fired him and told Trugreen about the incident. I am still waiting to hear back.

They do really good work. They are skilled in their profession and I never had a complaint with any of the work that they have done. They have always shown up on time and the technicians are always very friendly.

They left a flyer on my door about a free evaluation of my lawn. I called and never heard anything back. About a week later I just happened to open my door and there was a man walking around my lawn. When I asked him what he was doing he says he was inspecting my lawn when he left he handed me a folder, when I asked what my lawn needed he said he did not have anytime and just left. I called a number that was on the folder no one would answer my questions which were essentially what they would do and how much it would cost. Finally after much ado they told me they would just spray our lawn but that is all the info they would give. The whole situation was very frustrating.

The salesperson was very pleasant, but they wanted to charge over $900 for a year of work and I wanted to go with Soil's Alive. They also wanted to aerate the lawn twice a year and the soil's alive guy recommended against doing that, so that makes me a little distrustful of their services.

THE AERATION DIDN'T LOOK AS IF IT HAD BEEN DONE AT ALL. I CALLED TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO THEIR GUARANTEE. THEY RESCHEDULED AND WERE RIGHT ON IT.

SINCE HAVING CHEMLAWN COME OUT OUR LAWN HAS THICKENED UP AND NOW IT IS ALSO MUCH GREENER. WE HAVE ALSO SO AN IMPROVEMENT WITH WEED CONTROL. IT IS NOT PERFECT YET AND WE DO UNDERSTAND THAT IT TAKES TIME.

I HAVE ST AUGUSTINE GRASS IN THE FRONT YARD AND THEY DO A GOOD JOB OF CONTROLLING THE WEEDS IN IT. I HAVE BERMUDA IN THE BACKYARD AND IT HAS MANY MORE WEEDS. THE PRICE I HAVE LISTED IS FOR ONE TREATMENT. I FEEL LIKE THEY ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO SELL ME EXTRA SERVICES.

THE SERVICE IS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY APPLY A QUALITY PRODUCT. THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO A BETTER JOB THAN I HAVE AT THICKENING UP MY GRASS AND HELPING IT LOOK HEALTHY.

THE COST WAS NEARLY DOUBLE OF SOME LOCAL COMPANIES THAT HAD GOOD REVIEWS. WHEN I INDICATED THAT PRICE WAS A FACTOR IN MY DECISION NOT TO USE THEIR SERVICES, THEY STARTED TO HAGGLE A BIT ON PRICE. I DIDN'T LIKE THAT. I EXPECT SOMEONE TO GIVE ME THEIR BEST PRICE THE FIRST TIME. I DON'T LIKE TO HAGGLE, ESPECIALLY WITH SUCH A WELL-KNOWN COMPANY. I MIGHT BE TEMPTED TO USE THEIR SERVICE IF I HAD FEW OR NO OTHER OPTIONS, BUT FOR NOW, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT I WOULD PASS.
