They were very prompt. They were a little more expensive than some I've used however, I was satisfied with them.

It's been awesome. They are very good. Their technicians that come out are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

It turned out just fine. They are competent and I have no complaints.

They were fantastic. They were much more helpful than the first company the home warranty company sent out. They seemed very knowledgable about the issue and how to resolve it. They also provided insight on the most cost effective repairs.

Jimmy worked very hard for 3 straight hours on the plumbing problems. He repaired the refrigerator water line, replaced the water heater, removed the old water heater, fixed the toilets including removing one from the floor and reattaching it. He also diagnosed the shower problem but did not have the part to repair it at that time; he later got the part and informed me he had it in order to complete the job. The home warranty compamy initially did not permit him to repair the water line to the washing machine; however, he convinced them to let him try alternative ways to address the problem in case they could be remedied. Even though the line could not be fixed, I felt that Jimmy was truly interested in trying to fix the problem. He represented ARS very well and I am very pleased that he went above and beyond all my expectations, especially when I was having to work through the home warranty service.

ARS has been very prompt to our requests for plumbing issues. Their quality is based on the individual who shows up at your house, and because of that, we will only work with master plumbers going forward (Jim). Sometimes our calls regarding follow-up issues haven't been returned, but any issue that was new or considered part of our home warranty has had a very quick response. Office is courteous to speak with. We have been pleased with Jim and are thankful that he is a quality plumber, but we would not call ARS and just have "anybody" come and do a repair since our first attempt with Gary turned out poorly.

I thought they were excellent, when they couldn't fix the problem the first day, they came out the next day with additional tools and service technicians. We haven't had any problems since with our plumbing.

I've used this company several times, and have always been pleased with the service. However, the plumber that we usually work with is no longer with RR - I asked when I made the service call. That being said, we had a main line water break (second time in a year) and decided to have all the plumbing replaced in our 1950's pier and beam home. The men who showed up were pleasant, but they made an absolute mess! Dust and debris everywhere. Our ENTIRE master bedroom was covered in drywall/tile dust. We had to wash all the linens, clothes, blinds, walls, floors - everything! We couldn't use our bedroom for several days. The most distressing thing was that all these men had to do to keep the dust contained was to shut the bathroom door. I knew there would be some holes in our tile, and that our shower would not be functional until we repaired it. I didn't realize that they would not patch up the drywall they needed to access in the adjoining bedroom. There is now a hole btwn our guest bedroom and master bath - you can see straight through! For 6K I thought they would have patched the hole up, or even swept up the dust/drywall. They just left it. They left our hall bathroom covered in dust/drywall as well. I had to vacuum and wipe it down ceiling to floor before we could use it. I had to throw away bath products and certain beauty supplies (this sounds whiny but they were expensive). They just left my house a filthy mess. I feel really disrespected. They took no precautions to maintain a clean environment. I showed the filth to the team lead (or whatever he is) when he came to finalize paperwork - of course, I had already started the cleaning process so we could use our house again - but nothing. I am not one who is used to voicing complaints or standing my ground in these kind of situations. I only wish that I would have taken a firmer approach and demanded something be done about this. This kind of service is unacceptable. I am obviously still very distraught over this. I'm still finding dust, debris, and dirty smudges on walls and trim in the areas where they worked. I will not be using this company again.

My water service line broke on a Friday evening. I called ARS Sat morning and they had someone come out that afternoon for an estimate. The gentleman appeared to be very professional and friendly. He explained to me that the line is broken in 2-3 different spots and there's no way to repair it anyway, so it needs to be replaced. He gave me an estimate of $4262 and said they couldn't get to it until Monday. He explained that they do offer financing through Wells Fargo and even left me an application, saying that if I filled it out and agreed to let them do the work....his company would put the kids and I in a hotel for the evening so that we aren't without water. Heck, I'd hope so for $4200!!!!!! I called another (much smaller) company, and was shocked with their estimate. As it turns out, the pipe was only broken in one spot. This second company explained that all the water pressure underground from this massive leak had kinda pushed some of the grass aside and created some openings in the ground.....so, the water was simply escaping from any opening it could find. This made total sense to me after it was explained the right way. Also, I learned that the pipe can be repaired, whether it was leaking in one spot, or 2-3. This repair was made for $250; wow, what a difference!!! Also, this gentleman told me that I may consider being proactive and replacing the entire line at some point just to prevent future problems as this pipe is original to the house. He told me that would cost around $1350 to do, NOT $4262!!! Again, HUGE difference. I'd highly recommend against using ARS Rescue Rooter. For such a large company, they either aren't very informed OR like to take advantage of people. There are others out there who are more honest. I went with Antony from Action Plumbing, if you're having trouble finding someone.

Kyle brought me almost the very same WH as AAA-Auger did in 2003, this time it has a fancy ICON control system. Kyle explained to me that I can replace the 'Anode' in the WH and possibly extend its life. Kyle pulled what remained of the anode from the 2nd WH for me to see. There wasn't much left at all, it wasn't corroded or limed up, it was gone. Kyle replaced the fittings and tubing that probably needed changing. He brought my system up to code by doing so. Kyle cleaned up and took everything with him when he left. Kyle was a great professional. My only gripe was the substantial jump in price for essentially the same WH I got in 2003, but Kyle and Rescue Rooter were available on a HOT Sunday in July. That and the anode tip made it worth it. I would not hesitate calling Rescue Rooter again, although hopefully not for another water heater.

Bad leaking under our kitchen sink...called our Homeowner's Warranty and they sent this company out to repair the leak. Turns out that our garbage disposal was cracked causing the leak. They showed up, immediately put "booties" on their shoes. Very pleasant and professional and even wore a uniform! Don't see that much nowadays with plumbers. They were in / out in 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this company.

I was not impressed with them. They were too expensive for what they were going to do. I had a very bad experience with them. They were pretty responsive and punctual. I would not use them in the future.

They were timely, efficient and professional. It was an extremely positive experience.

Professional, did the job and called the water damage people for us . They were also prompt and professional.

They quoted a price over the phone. The first time we had them out for the clog they gave us a price for replacing the sewer line and they still honored that price even though it was about a year and a half later when we actually had the work done. They rooted the line 3 times and then did the replacement. I like that a person answers the phone 24 hours a day and they have pretty prompt service. I also like that they stick to their estimates for the work.

I think I spent $200 on the job. They gave me an estimate and stuck to it. They gave me a six-month guarantee on the work. I would recommend them. I will use them again in the future.

The estimate was a little high but I did like that they guaranteed their work for two years.

I had a toilet leaking into my bathroom and dressing room all day on Halloween. AHS assigned Rescue Rooter for an emergency service. After half and hour Rescue Rooter called me to say that they had no plumbers available and would send someone the next day. I explained that it was an emergency service, that the toilet was leaking from two places at a heavy rate, that I could not shut it off as the valve was broken, and I was having to stand there with a bucket bailing warter constantly, and she just said - that's tough, emergency service is never quicker than 24 hour service so you have to live with it. I said that this was unacceptable and would call AHS to send another company and she said she was fine with that. So I went back to AHS and they said they would speak to Rescue Rooter - which they did whilst I was holding on the other line - then Rescue Rooter said that they woudl send someone within and hour and and half. I waited for one hour - since they still showed no sign of sending anyone I called a plumber and paid for it myself. I lodged a complaint with AHS contractor relations and have had to claim back the money I paid back from them.

Walked out into our garage on a Sunday afternoon and noticed a stream of water heading out the door. Decided to check the hot water heater and found it was leaking. Pulled up the Angie's List and started calling plumbers that "advertise" 24 hr emergency service and water heater repairs. What a joke! Most do NOT provide emergency service on Sundays! I heard "we don't do those on Sundays", "We have reached our allotment of weekend emergency calls" (what in the heck is THAT suppose to mean!?!?!?), or left phone messages for the "on-call" person that was never returned. THEN I hit Rescue Rooter! Someone actually answered the phone, said they would be out and that someone should call within 45 minutes to say when they would be out. Now......I figured with this amount of ease there would be a HUGE service call charge! WRONG!! not a charge was involved (maybe the bumped up the price of the repair but I didn't care)...anyways........within 30 minutes the truck pulled up..the tech assessed the situation advised me what the worse scenario might be but decided to see if he could take care of it cheaply. WRONG again! It was a fatal diagnosis. He then advised me that new code regulations required an upgrade. Gave a quote and he headed to the shop to get the required equipment. He did the upgrade and installed the new heater and we were off and running. Happily the city inspector approved the installation when he came to inspect it a few days later. I asked for a company magnet in case I ever need them again.

It went well. At the time I was dealing with several plumbers and they were the most efficient and honest about what needed to be done and what we could wait on,Some work was not necessary that I had been told to do and one company actually performed some work which later caused my toilet after they had left and on a weekend where they refused to come out and fix. I would never use that company again but I did like Rescue Rooter..

Three times repairs done well, although service personnel do not always clean up area when they are finished. They were not able to repair a toilet satisfactorily on fourth visit. Warranty company would not approve additional time/money.

They brought our water heater up to date.

They told me I needed a tile guy and they didn't charge me a house call. They put plastic over their shoes. They were very sweet.

Had the waste disposer leaking. Called American home shield and was assigned Rescue rooter. They came at the time frame assigned and immediately determined that the disposer needed to be replaced. Removed and installed in less them 10 minutes. Very professional with no mess done.Since it was covered by AHS I only had to pay the deductible of $55.00 dollars. I would recommend in the future.
