Terminix - Richardson -Termite & Pest Control

The service was good. We have had a contract with them for 10 years. We just took over the contract from the previous owner of the house.

The service turned out great. The cost is too much, but that is life. I would recommend them to a family or a friend.

They are fabulous. I pay quarterly for visits. I think their price is competitive. They are not better than anyone else in regards to price but they are not more. The good thing about them is they come back of you have an issue.

That was fine. I would recommend them. They call in several times, then come do what they say they are going to do.

It went just fine. We have a termite contract with them. The charge is annually rather than per treatment. They’ve been very good. They’re typically on time. They called us at the gate when they were there. They’re typically professional.

I do credit them for saying that they don't think I had any issues and so I didn't need any of that, so they basically said that I don't need them, which I appreciated. The quality of service, and responsiveness is very good.

They do all my pest control and termite control. I paid by the year. I’ve been using them for 10 years. They’ve been very good. I don’t have any complaints about them at all. My interactions with them have been good. One gentleman comes in regularly and he is very good. The work is absolutely perfect.

For their termite stuff, I would give them an "A". It was just kind of expensive.

My experience with them was great. They were really good about taking care of knowing that we have pets. Once they got started, there were not just any bugs around. The service people were very friendly. They got to the job and got it done.

I quit using them because I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth. I just get paying them every year and I never saw them. Years ago, it was fine at that time.

I had a good experience with them. They go under the sink, baseboards, and all around anywhere I told them that I maybe have issues. If I ask, I leave my gate open and they are outside putting out something. Sometimes I had an experience that roaches come back between the time that they are supposed to come for the twice a year visit. They will come out with no charge to put out more baits. One time I had rats really bad, they came out and put out rat baits outside for me and they leave me those little sticky things to put them in into the garage. I like them.

We've been happy with them. They always come out whenever I call them.

We used Proz pest service for two years which was purchased by Terminix. Since Terminix has taken over we have had more issues with bugs than any other time. I called Terminix to come out for a retreat and they scheduled for 8/7. They didn't show or call to change the appointment. I called into their customer service number and couldn't get any resolution. I plan on trying another company in the future.

I've had very bad experience with them. I wouldn't use them for anything. I was infected with termites. They ate my floor, they ate up part of my wall. They didn't stand behind any of it. They serviced me. They had the little sticks in the ground and all that stuff. They came out as they were supposed to. They were there maybe 10 or 15 minutes and that was it. The termites came in and they chewed up the wood floor and chewed up facing around our patio door and toilet wall. And they wouldn't stand behind any of it. So I wouldn't use them. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. I had them for a number of years. We bought the house in 1999 and we had them ever since because they already had a policy with Terminix and so we just continued it. They came out 3 or 4 or 5 times whatever it was, but termites still got in there. They said they weren't responsible for any of the damage that the termites did. It wasn't real cheap. I don't think they were the cheapest by any means. But I wouldn't say the price was outrageously high. They came when they were supposed to come, but they just didn't do anything when they were there. I called and complained about it even before I discovered the termites. I said, "Hey, your guy was out here. He was here maybe 10 or 15 minutes. He never came in the house and never looked at anything. He just walked around my house and left. How can you inspect a home this size in that amount of time?" And he said, "Well, that's what our guys are trained to do it." Well, I disagree with him.

I felt rushed into signing a contract to treat our house immediately and was told that we could finance the cost for 10%. The actual finance rate was 18%, so I called and arranged to pay the balance off with a credit card. I have since asked twice for a receipt showing the account paid in full and that the amount paid included a second year of treatment. Terminix can't won't provide the document requested, nor will their finance company ServiceMaster. Twice I have request a simple invoice/receipt showing the amount paid and the services paid for, and each time i'm told that it was mailed. I even asked for it to emailed to me. But the claim they cannot do that it.

We have been using this Terminix for several years. The same service tech comes to the house (which is very nice) and he is always very prompt and professional! Price is about the same as most other pest control services I called. With the quarterly service, we can (and do) call anytime we see pests of any type. We schedule service within 5 days when they need to come out between quarterly services. I would recommend this Terminix office and do when anyone asks me.

They were rude and did not care that I wanted the termites exterminated they just wanted to charge me for an estimate, instead of coming out telling me what needed to be done and doing it and getting paid for it.

Messed up initial agreement to pay half and then half again in 6 months. Then went in and auto renewed the next year without my permission. Much to my surprise I had 732.00 removed from my bank account. With no authorization or notification, by using my debit card form the year before. Now, will take at least a week to put back.
