Terminix - Richardson -Termite & Pest Control

I've been using them for many 30 years. I'm very happy with their service. I would highly recommend them.

They were great, thorough and they follow through.

Haven't see or heard any unwanted visitors in my attic this year. Good job explaining and doing what I was told they would do. Very professional techs. Juan Enriquez did an excellent job. Through and professional in his work.

The young man came in and he was in the house for 5 or 6 hours and went thru the whole house spraying and putting those cups down. He told me he would be back to pick those little cups up and he did. He questioned me extensively about whether I had seen anything crawling around and I hadn't. He talked to me the whole while he was here explaining everything and telling me what to look for and when I could clean the cabinets and put my dishes and everything back in. He told me how long to wait so we did and then I ran the dishwasher twice for each load. I feel pretty safe. Every once in a while I will run across those little cups and throw them in the trash. Terminix said that they considered themselves finished but they would come back any time I call. He seemed to be a very professional young man and he has been doing this job for quite a while he said. They told me they would contact me when it was time to come back and check.

They did really good work. Everywhere where there was a water connection, they made sure to check and treat those. I always did a walk around and I showed them a trail and they were sure to treat that area too. I wished I could give them an A+.

Very well. We continue to use them. We have a couple of houses they work on.

I rate them very high. Very satisfied. It is a good experience with them.

On the mosquito part, I'd probably give them a C. On the regular pest control, the guys who come out do a good job of treating the area. We never see any pests or anything. We have a regular guy who comes out, so he's easy to work with, and he takes care of us really well and does a good job. So that keeps us coming back on the pest control side. The mosquito side is, mosquitos are just really bad here in Texas. On the pest control I'd probably give them an A. On the mosquito control I'd give them a C. And the reason on the C, they come once a month and they put their stuff down and the last time the guy came he wasn't real careful and we had some damage to some of our plants from the chemicals. When I call them on the phone they do well.

It has been fine. We have been using Terminix for 25 years or more. I would give them a strong recommendation.

It was good but it just got expensive so I cancelled. They've provided the service over the last 11 years. They charge $96 quarterly.

I’ve been using them for years. It’s the same gal that calls me every three months. If I need something in the house then they’ll come in but normally I don’t because they take care of the stuff outside so I don’t have a problem. Everybody is about the same price. They always let me know ahead of time when they are coming.

HORRIBLE. Jose Orio, the Pest Control Manager, stood in my driveway and lied to my face. He said he would get this taken care of and get my home painted and even shook my hand! Terminix talks a good game about caring for your home, but they do nothing of the kind. They do worse--they damage it. And good luck getting in touch with someone to make your claim. I reported it 3 times, on hold 15 or more minutes each time and transferred around twice before getting someone who made a note of the issue. When I called back a week later to find out what was going on with my claim, they had no record of it! I had to go,through the whole story again.

I would use them again in the future.

I used them for about three years. They bought a company I had used for a while. They changed the billing up and it ended up costing way more for the same thing. I did have to pay every three months versus now every two months. I am on a maintenance plan with them where they would come out once every two months to spray everywhere including the garage. I changed because of the price and billing duration. I felt like I was paying for the name and they are no different than anyone else down the street.

I've used them for about 12 years. I think it's a reasonable price.

Here is the letter I wrote documenting the issues. "Thank you for your help in resolving Terminix?s handling of our termite contract. We look forward to a long and productive relationship. The contract will be renewed for another 2 years in first quarter. As you know, we?ve been a termite customer since April 17, 1997. I have that original contract and all letters I?ve written since that time. We?ve had seven Terminix contracts on four different properties. The termite contract on this property has been here for 17 years now. For your reference in the past week several pieces of incorrect information have been given to me. I would suggest that either the administrative systems need to be corrected and/or personnel need additional training. No one had called about our quarterly termite bait station check and it was overdue so I called to schedule Carlos Puente. Carlos had done the last check on August 13 and did a good job. The person at the call center said our contract had been cancelled and that Carlos no longer worked for the company. · The contract had not been cancelled. First error. · As proof the contract had not been cancelled, I told them if the contract had been cancelled, we would be due a refund. Second error. I received a voice message on my recorder that no refund was due. I was told the contract could be reinstated after a technician made a site visit. Gene visited this morning and stated: · The contract had been cancelled due to non-payment. Third error. He was adamant that we had not paid our bill and I was just as adamant that we had not received an invoice to pay. · We would save a lot of money with the new contract. Fourth error. First, we would have to pay an upfront fee for the new-style bait stations of nearly $2,500 and then an on-going yearly charge of $265 for a once a year station check. The annual fee would be $102 lower than what we last paid so just to break even would take 24.5 years because of the upfront fee. I would be 89 years old before we would save any money. We would also get 75% fewer service visits for only a 38% annual fee reduction. It doesn?t pass the smell test. · Fifth error. The Whitmore bait station we have had not been serviced by Terminix for 3 years. Obviously, we had been getting service until this quarter. I went back in the house and logged onto the Terminix?s website. It showed we had paid for two years of service in February, 2013. Not only was there not a non-payment issue but Terminix had our money and was refusing to provide service. I logged onto my bank website and printed the cancelled check. See the attached image. Armed with this confirmation of having a valid contract, I called to schedule service. Couldn?t get it done with the call center, couldn?t get it done with Gene and finally left a message for your office?s Ashley with the same request for service. The next message I got was from you stating the contract had been cancelled and you had credited us with $113.13. We had never and would not cancel this contract. This did, however, acknowledge that Terminix had money from us on our existing termite contract. In summary, I spent multiple hours of my time, was denied service even though Terminix had our funds and received at least 5 pieces of incorrect information from Terminix. Customer service was abysmal. I hope that this recitation of facts will allow you to identify and correct the problems." Beyond what I stated in the above letter - In general I have been happy with the termite service. Every once in awhile they send out an untrained person from another office and I have to spend my time to correct it. What is absolutely horrible and always has been is administration and this situation clearly highlights the flaws. What I would not recommend is the general pest service. I cancelled this $500 annual service after my favorite decade-long technician left the company. He handled the pest and termite jobs with a single appointment. With zero notice to me different technicians were assigned and two appointments would be needed four times a year for a total of eight appoitments. Terminix manager Jeff Porter from the Lewisville/Plano office knew about this change for months and did not call. When I found out, I called him and he apologized as he had intended to call. From my view, it was too late. I cancelled the Pest not the termite service at that time and received an appropriate pro-rated refund at that time. It appears the Terminix offices fight among themselves and attempt to poach customers from one office to another. I am suspicious the financial incentives to acquire a new-to-them customer is behind most of what just went on.

I have not been dissatisfied with them, I mean I am satisfied with them.

We have our annual contract with them for 8 years now. They’re reliable. I would recommend them. They provided a very good service and follow up if things aren’t right that I think is really good.

They have done a great job. They do a good job. The price is within the range of most people were.

They do show up when they call and say they're coming and I've never had to have them come back. I've never checked how to compare it to other things. They provide a good service. I used to have one type of termite thing in my yard and then they changed it to a different kinds so it seems to work all in all. I'm good. They're pretty professional.

I no longer own my own home. I was very happy with them. It was quarterly, and the price was around $80 a quarter, and that was for the outside spraying. The termite thing was an annual contract, and it was between $300 and $400. It was good service. They were reliable. If I had any problems which I rarely had, I only had to call them a couple of times in over twenty four years where there was an infestation of some type or the other. But that was not their fault; it was just something that happened in the neighborhood. They did an excellent job. With regard to price, I never compared it with anybody else. So I don't know how it compares to the other services. I have always used Terminix. I would imagine that they are probably competitive. I really don't have anything that I can compare it against. The quality was excellent. With regard to responsiveness, they were very good about letting me know when they were coming out. They would always follow up to find out if the service was okay. The couple of times I had to call them out for an emergency, they came out immediately. They were excellent in that respect. With regard to punctuality, often times I wasn't home because they didn't have to come in the house. But I always had a note on the door that they had been there, so I'm assuming that they came near the time they said they would. They were punctual. With regard to professionalism, I rarely spoke to anybody. I spoke to the office when I had to call them out a couple of times for emergency. But I rarely saw the Terminix man because I generally wasn’t home when he came out to do his service. When I did, he was always friendly and nice. They always left me a good report; a really comprehensive report of what they did and what they found. From that standpoint, they were doing a very good job. I would absolutely call them again. I was happy.

It worked out very well. I had a big termite problem and they took care of it. I never had any re-occurrence since they had servicing me every year. The price is worth it to be but I don't know how to compare it with anybody else.

It was okay. I am not here when they come. I guess they are in and out quick. I think the price is kind of high.

It's pretty good; I like it. With regard to price, everybody is much more than they should be. I think the price was in line with what it should have been. Things just cost too much anyway. I think if I use them, I probably would have agreed to the price. With regard to quality, I have been satisfied.

It is very difficult to get hold of them.The most frustrating thing about them is to book appointments online even though I don't have bugs.
