Description of Work: Representative took care of spiders inside and out as well as ants outside. In taking care of the spiders, he also knocked down cobwebs. This was the first quarterly visit after signing up for their service. Treatment is working.

Description of Work: They come back as often as necessary to take care of any problems. My contractor is knowledgeable and knows how to take care of problems before they start.

Description of Work: I have regular outdoor pest services quarterly. Have used them for years and years and always been satisfied. Wish they were a little less costly, but they do a good job and I feel that my pets and family are as safe as possible from the chemicals used.

Description of Work: Had the house sprayed for bugs. Problems with ants and they took care of it. Had to have them come back because the ants came back. No problem rescheduling.

Description of Work: Terminex inspected the perimeter of the home for termites. Verified we did have termites. And treated the perimeter of the home with bate and poison to draw the termites away from the home and kill the termites.

Description of Work: I use Terminix for quarterly bug/pest service and i have a termite contract with them. I have always liked their service and professionalism; however, in March when i needed them to get some squirrels out of a wall in my home, the sales person pitched a strong sale and told me i had a current rat problem in the attic also. i fell for it and paid a fee to have my entire roof inclused and traps set in the attic. $1245 to get rid of my rat problem. Two crews came out one week apart and both said they did NOT see any fresh rat poop in my attic. Also, the rats have been caught in the traps set to date. I just feel like I was taken advantage of.

Description of Work: I am so impressed with Terminix's service! I submitted a request online and within 5 minutes got a call to chat with a live person about my needs. Then they had someone out the next day (Ken). Ken was fantastic and explained everything he was doing as is was our first experience with pest control at a house - we're new to Texas. We had him do the inside and outside including taking out some wasp nests and an ant hill. And then he asked if we had any other questions before he left and reminded us to call if anything came up. A few days later we found another ant hill and called to ask about getting it cleared up. I assumed we would be charged for a service call - which I was ok with because we needed it. But to my surprise the agent told me it was all covered from the first appointment and they would be out in the next 48 hours. I am so glad I don't have to worry about getting service on a regular basis with their quarterly pre-arranged service, but even happier I can call whenever we need additional service without worrying about charges. And their customer service has been A+ throughout too!

Description of Work: Greg LeClaire came to provide a pest inspection. He found termites in a flower bed (it took several beds). He used this as evidence that we needed to treat the home with a very expensive treatment ($165x12). He used incendiary language and was incredulous that I would question the severity of the problem. He produced NO EVIDENCE of home infestation. He explained how the entire area was "On fire with termites, and that they would overtake our home". When I explained the structural difference in our home (we have a basement and have NO wooden structures close to the ground), he said "you have a colony that has found it's way into your home - it could be a tiny crack in the foundation, but they've found their way into your home. Why wouldn't you protect your investment and treat it?" ..When I responded that my home was nearly termite proof (because it's a basement home with the only wooden structure 2 1/2 feet above ground), he said that there was a huge colony that has clearly made it's way to my home. "They represent a fire that's burning... Surely I would protect the investment I have in my home". After research, I'm really upset. This is clearly a scare tactic. We don't even have bugs or spiders n our house. Looking at Tx A&M website, a qualified licensed technician should produce evidence of infestation of the home and that a discovery of termites around the home is not necessarily a concern. Scare tactics!! ....Please don't buy into it... We didn't sign up for Terminix, they bought out the independent guy we used... We'll now start looking for another independent.
