Terminix - Richardson -Termite & Pest Control

We have not had any problems with their service and we have been customers since Oct 2011. I use their website to make any changes needed to the days or hours for their service. Someone has to be here so that they can come in. I also use their website to make my payments for the service. The technicians are always professional and this service date was the same. Our technician can be engaged in conversation both professionally and friendly. I have never had any reason to feel unsure if they go from room to room without walking with them. They always do a secure and professional job.

The only time we talked to them was when we first set up the service and they were very professional. But when they came back out to treat we weren't here and we didn't have to be here.

The price is high but they do a great job. They also notify me when they are coming. They are reliable and do exactly what they are supposed to. I am pleased with the service.

I do not recommend using Terminix. I have lived in my town house since Dec 2012. My town house is just like an apartment. Terminix claimed they sprayed my home and have been billing me. I have repeatedly canceled service with them and they continue to claim they're spraying and billing me. They claim they spray the exterior of the home when in fact there is nothing outside to spray. They claim they have my signature showing I signed off on the work. The said the provided service in July when I was gone for the entire month in Canada and Washington State and I had also canceled the service in March. Keep away from Terminix. They will start harassing you.

The work went well, and we haven't had any problems since.

These guys charge a fortune and don't have their act together. I asked them to send me a bill they charged my credit card. They sceduled services every couple of months and were only supposed to schedule once a quarter. They would have multiple service people show up on the same day. Definitely not organized. The only good part of the entire contract was my service provider, Perish. He was courteous and professional. Too bad he works for these guys. To sum it up WAY OVER PRICED!

I use them every three months. I use them because they get rid of the bugs. They are very professional. They are slightly expensive.

We had just finished remodeling a house and I had laid down a bunch of mulch. I noticed a bunch of carpenter ants and termites crawling on the eaves. We had renovated the house from the studs and I hadn't even seen a bug. He came out and said he didn't see any termites but we had him spray anyway. It was worth it just to say that we had treated for the termites. He suggested and I believed the termites and carpenter ants were probably in the mulch. He could have told us we had termites and I wouldn't have known.

We've used Terminix for about 10 years. I have no complaints. Their competitive in pricing.

I've used them for a number of years. I am highly satisfied with them. I have a contract for termites and home pest control. The staff is very good.

I’ve had to have them come out 3 times and I still have issues with wasps and ants. They wouldn’t knock down all of the mud daubers; they knocked some down to the ground and left them for me to pick up. I asked to get out of my contract because their treatments haven’t been effective.

They do great, I would recommend them

They are reliable. Anytime there is a problem, they will come out to address it. I have been pleased with the service.

I have a treatment once yearly, every summer. I would have liked for them to do a little more comprehensive job with specific issues we have because I have a rat problem in my garage and they only left one little box to help with the problem. I don't think that was enough. However, for general pest control they were great.

The experience has not been very good, I have used Terminix for years, but when I moved to Dallas, I just transferred my services here, I had no problems with them before but I am constantly having issues with their billing department since I moved here. I have my account set up to be so that it should be automatically withdrawn from the bank account when the services are performed, because I don't necessarily have to be here when the services are performed and I have had to reset my auto payments for about 3 times now because they don't take it out wen they are supposed to. There was a time when I was not in the country when the service was done, and it wasn't until a month and a half later that I got back and I was getting notices to them that I was being sent to their credit agencies for the payment. When I called them to tell that it was not my fault and that it was on auto pay and I told them that if this happened again, they will no longer have my business. I don't think it has to do with Terminix the company, it is specifically their billing department. When I came back to the states, I had notices on my door, in my mailbox, I had tons of voice messages and they were trying to call multiple times. The last time, the guy who was here asked for the payment and I told him it was supposed to run it through the auto payment and I told him that if it doesn't go through, I would cancel my contract and he tried it, and it went through. They do a good service, they come here when they are supposed to come and they do what they are supposed to.

They are fine. They do what they are supposed to do. They are knowledgeable and they do a good job. They gave me a year for free because they hit a water pipe.

Terminix did not spray a tree that was 2 feet from my house. It was a 50 foot high tree with limbs hanging over the house. Small black ants had eaten the center out of the limb hanging over the house. We spent thousands of dollars removing the tree. Terminix refused to admit that small black ants can be responsible for eating trees. We called to cancel our contract with Terminix and they offered to reduce the monthly costs by $50. They continued to argue about the length of the distance from the tree to the house and insisted that ants can not eat trees. It was horrifying to see thousands of little black ants coming out of the limbs that were removed. Terminix even laughed when I showed my concern about the tree. Other pest control companies know all about the ants and the damage they can do. I will never use Terminix and suggest no one else does either. Just because you have been around a long time does not mean you are running an efficient company. On a 1 -10 rating I give them a 0.

Terminix has never found any termites, so they must be pretty good. They're always on time. After they check the house, they explain anything they find. I have no complaints about them.

The first time the came out it was very professional. They were on time and courteous. The next visit was a different story. They were running late so I called to find out where he was and was told a previous job was taking longer than expected, could they reschedule. I said that was fine so we scheduled for the following day. Two hours passed and still no bug man. I called them since they don't have the capability to do so and was told they didn't know where the guy was could they reschedule. This time I said no, they don't even have the common courtesy to call so your not waiting around. A couple weeks later the manager called and asked why I refused service. I explained to him what happened and he apologized and asked if there was anything he could do to change my mind. I told him no, I've moved on.

If I see any kind of activity of insects in between their visits, they would come out for free and treat again. They are very responsive. Their customer service and professionalism are good. I like them for their price; they do great.

They are very well known and probably one of the most used. Their price is fair.

Terminix did the normal spray for insects. They did an estimate for me for termite treatment. I have just cancelled my contract with them. I found another service that does the same work for less money. I used Terminix for about a year and a half.
