Called to make an appointment and whoever answered the phone seemed to speak very little English. Made an appointment, took off work to meet them at my house. They never showed up and never called to re-schedule, apologize...nothing. I had to contact Angie's List to get my money back. Update 10-1-12: Did at least e-mail us and apologize for the missed appointment after seeing negative feedback. That definitely deserves recognition. Maybe this is just a one time occurrence.

He is prompt and efficient! Smooth progression from start to finish!

I took advantage of Angie's List's and JBL's $99.00 special offer for two hours of electrical service. Mr. Shively of JBL Electric responded promptly to my scheduling request. He arrived on time and was able to complete some smaller electrical projects at my home. I would especially mention that Mr. Shively made some specific recommendations for exterior light fixtures for my home. In order to allow me the time to purchase the fixtures, he completed one hour of the two hour 'deal,' and returned to complete my projects and the second hour of my repurchased time after I had purchased the recommended fixtures. Commendable indeed!

Two electricians arrived half hour early and worked an hour beyond 2 hour deal and charged me in accordancee with what the price in Angie's list offered and not their normal hourly price. Courteous and professional.

He showed up on time and fixed the repair. He was knowledgable and did a good job for the price he quoted me.

They showed up on the dot and finished within 10 minutes of the estimated time. They were professional from their installation, to attitude, to the cleanup at several stages of the project. Rese's helpful suggestions for future DIY projects were greatly appreciated. I've used 3 other electricians but Rese is now, by far, at the top of the list.

When I was ready to have the work done, he was on time, did a great job and did not charge me extra for the addtional trip. Both my wife and I were extremely satisfied...

JBL Electrical performed a great job with troubleshooting the issue. Not only did they resolve the issue and solve the mystery of the switch, by discover of a solar cell controling the function of the flood lights, but they also took the time to clean out the dome enclosures for the lights. They were extremely friendly and very professional. I will be calling them back for any future issue that may arise.

It went super well. They worked late to get me back in the light. They handled all the details from permits to inspection. It looks great too.

It went perfectly well. He arrived exactly on time each time. His crew was professional. They did exactly what they said they would and cleaned up afterward. And they are very nice people.

I called and made an appointment to get an estimate. I was told that someone would be out after 5pm. Come 8:30pm no one had showed up and no one had called to reschedule. This is not only unprofessional but a complete waste of my time. I choose them because of their Angie's list rating but I would never call them again.

Asked for a doorbell re-installation, a new outlet installation in garage and a ceiling fan installation in the bedroom. 5 appointments included: 1 where the just looked around but did no work, 1 where the doorbell was fixed and the light fixture was removed, another where the just looked around, then 2 no-shows in a row... leaving a room with no light and an open hole in the ceiling. And, still no outlet installation in the garage. Now, I'm stuck hiring another electrician to come put light back in the bedroom. The doorbell installation was well done, but doesn't make up for the bedroom with no light now.

They were willing to show up early in the morning because of our schedules.

It was a 2-day job and Rese and Byron were professional and friendly and easy to work with-- especially since I changed a couple of things from what had been originally discussed. I bought the fixtures at local home improvement stores and there were a few problems, but they figured them out and everything came out looking great. They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. I am very pleased with my new kitchen lighting and the lighting/fans in the other rooms. I highly recommend their services.

Rese came twice to my home. The first time was to assess the problem and tell me the part I needed to order. He came the second time to install the part. Because it was an old fan, he had to make the new part fit. He improvised and fixed the problem so I didn't have to buy a whole new fan and system. He seemed to be very good at taking a situation that wasn't perfect and improvising so that the problem could be fixed and save me money and time in the process. If I have any complaints, it would be that sometimes it wasn't easy to get him to call me back. But it wasn't all that bad and my problem was taken care of in a week, including both appointments. He was very friendly and explained the process as he went, educating me on what was wrong and what I needed to look for in the future when it needs to be taken care of again. He charged me the flat fee for coming out both times and I paid for the part needed. I will use him again and will recommend him to my friends and family.

Mr. Shively came on time (a couple minutes early in fact) on the scheduled day to repair my hot tub. It onl took a couple minutes for him to figure out the problem. He was very professional, courteous, and helpful in explaining the problem.
