Since then I have had another electrician who has looked at the SAME box and he pointed out everything that was wrong. Multiple wires going into a breaker (for several of them), the ground not being grounded etc. Some serious issues that were observable by simply opening the breaker box. I had a third electrician out to the house to give me a third opinion and he agreed that there are many things wrong with the way the breakers are wired. I was terribly disappointed by JBL electric when I realized that he hadn't really LOOKED. Nice folks, but I won't use them again.

It turned out very well. The price was fair and he was on-time.

I called the company to schedule the service. The technician said they could not upgrade the wiring which is why I purchased the deal. The deal did not state that they would not be able to offer that service at the price I purchased the deal for. I felt like the deal was a bait and switch and acted like getting my money back or getting the service done was not their problem. I just think they could have handled the situation better.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. It was a small job. They were timely and did just want we wanted. They didn't make a mess or they cleaned it up. It wasn't a super hard job but they had to climb around in the attic and make a hole in the wall and bring the wires down.

We purchased the coupon in April 2014 but were not ready to do the work. In August when we attempted to contact JBL to set a date for work to be done, we could not locate them. There was no response at all. After checking out the address listed on the company information we were told that there was no business located there. There was no work done, no contact with JBL at all.

Was done very quickly. Looked at my doorbell and made a recommendation.

Installed an outdoor outlet. Asked me where I wanted it installed, tested and works properly. Personable workers. I asked for a quote for additional services and used them again to install two outdoor ceiling fans. I would use them again for additional electrical needs.

Great fast and professional.

Difficulty completing the job in a timely manner due to scheduling and weather-related issues. Not always the fault of the provider. However, response time was not always prompt. Brian, the individual who actually did the work, was quite pleasant and easy to work with, and seemed eager to please. I wish more time had been spent on nailing loose boards as several remain and I would have been quite willing to pay for any extra work. I'm not sure if Rocky Cloninger, the owner, ever came and looked at the project himself to determine the correct cost.

Contacted them by email on June 23rd and June 27th. I did not get a response. Again, I left messages on their voice mail July 3rd and July 7th with no response.

I called, left messages, with no response.

No appointment made. Since I am dealing with an out of state company, it seems they do not value customers very well. Wasted money so far. I will be calling the BBB for further action.

Tried to contact JBL electrical to set up appointment. They never responded. After the initial purchase on May 7, 2014, tried four 4 times to communicate with them. Nothing response at all.The only way that I could complete this for was to enter a date last contact. There has been no contact from the provider.

Had trouble getting scheduled, then at the last minute it was re-scheduled, but the work was done well.

11 days after purchasing a coupon I still have heard from the provider. I've left 3 messages on their answering machine, still no reply. I have requested a refund.

The contractor has been unresponsive. I’ve tried to be patient but I never heard from them.

The only disturbing thing was the lack of communication and scheduling. On March 29th I purchased the "Angie's List Deal" and submitted 3 suggested dates to schedule service. I never got a response so I called to see if there was a problem. I was able to talk with Reese and we scheduled a date and a block of arrival times. Reese called me a few days later to see if I could reschedule because he was busy with other Angie's List Deals. My neighbor also purchased the "Deal" but never heard from JBL Electrical Service. So I took the opportunity to ask when he was planning to visit my neighbor. He told me that she was scheduled right after mine but that her appointment was still on track. Unfortunately Reese never advised my neighbor of the appointment. My neighbor was surprised that I knew when they were coming by and she didn't. Well to make this long story a little shorter JBL was able to make my appointment and my neighbor's appointment. They couldn't finish the work at my neighbor's so they provided an estimate for the additional work and scheduled a time to complete the project. She never got an appointment confirmation call and when the appointment time came they were a no-show and no-call to let her know that they weren't coming. In summary, the work performed was satisfactory but they completely lack customer contact and communication skills. For this reason I would never use them.

Rece was wonderfully attentive to what we needed to have completed. He understood the electrical system immediately, where 2 other contractors were at a loss as to how to fix our issues. He is very professional, articulate, conscientious and personable. We are definitely planning on using him in the future.

It wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but it worked out. Scheduling and communication with the company was fine. I did feel the price was little high for what I got.

This was an Angie's List special and a very good deal at that. I had the whole house surge protector installed. He was very pleasant, knew exactly what he was doing, right on time. A very good experience, and I will definitely call this company back!

The installer was on time, he wast friendly and appeared to do a good job. My only complaint was that after the installation there was an additional trip charge of $10.00. Like most homeowners, I don't like up charges. I found no previous mention of a trip charge and I assume that the provider advertised a special on this list to increase his customer base. Why a $10.00 charge was worth threatening that good will I do not understand.

Everything turned ok. He was able to fix my problem and I would use him again.

The work done by JBL was thorough and professional with lots of explanation of what was being checked and how the fixtures, switches, and wiring function. I found out that some of my 30 year old fixtures should be replaced in the near future as they are very worn. I also found out that my track lighting was connected with an inappropriate type of extension cord inside the wall (this was not remedied as I am going to be buying new track lighting in the near future). Overall, Rese did a very good job and answered all my questions. He was on time and took his time, doing careful work. I appreciated all the information he shared.

He showed up and was on time. Very thorough in checking everything out.
