Rese was great. Very punctual, professional, and thorough. He explained the best options for what I wanted done and we decided to go for the things that would make less of mess for the coupon. And do additional work when I'm ready to patch up wholes. Everything looked great, and worked great! Thank you!

They took care of both issues in good time, arrived promptly and were easy to work with. I gave them a b on quality, because in two cases they didn't match the color of the outlet and outlet covers to the ones already in the house - white instead of almond. I didn't notice until after they had left. In addition, they had to cut several holes into the wall to route the new wire - this was fine, and as expected. But I do wish they had cleaned up a bit better. And I gave them a b on price, as he said he'd give me a coupon rate over the phone, but the bill didn't reflect that. Still, it was a reasonable price I thought for the work done.

The owner and his assistant showed up on time to do the walk-around. They provided a good overview of what I wanted done and the amount of labor involved. They also provided some insight into how much time they would charge for doing the work (add lights in three bedroom closets, add an outlet in master bathroom). The end result was a verbal description but there was no written assessment provided which was somewhat disappointing.

It went great. They were right on time on the date that we agreed on. They were respectful, professional, and made me feel very comfortable. The ceiling fan was a little wobbly at first and they kept working at it until it was perfect, no wobbling. I appreciated that attention to detail, as I might not have noticed the wobbling until after they had left if they had left it like that. Mr. Shively spent quite a bit of time explaining how the electrical system in my house was installed, why it was done that way, and how that will or will not affect the house now. Some things I thought should be addressed he agreed with and other things he discussed how we would be spending money when it was not really necessary, which I appreciated. I have not yet gotten the estimate (he stated he would send it in about a week and it has only been two days), therefore I cannot comment on whether I will hire him to complete the other work I need done, however if the bid is reasonable, I would be happy to hire JBL Electrical Services for my future work. I was very pleased.

Work was done with no problems. I was pleased with the work and the professional attitude of Reece.

The project took a bit longer than expected. They had to cut access panels in the garage and run 100s of feed of wire, trench a replacement service to our well. They did complete to service panel upgrade on-time. Everything else was wrapped up in a couple of more days. Overall they were very efficient, the price quoted was the price we paid and they were very professional. I have more work to be done around our property, I will be calling this company again,

I took advantage of a coupon for $125 for two hours of electrical work, not knowing how long it would take to repair our kitchen light and exhaust fan. Our electric range had also broken in the last week, and I had a couple sconce light fixtures I needed to have installed. Rese and his assistant arrived early. They were professional and friendly. They quickly discovered that the wires in the old light fixture had burned up when we switched to fluorescent light bulbs and that the fan motor needed replacing. We had not yet purchased a new light fixture, so Rese gave my husband instructions on installing one, explaining that we are capable of doing that should pay him to do things we cannot do ourselves. They then installed the electric range, and even loaded the old one into my pickup truck. Finally they quickly installed the new light sconces. Then they asked, what else do you need done? My husband and I are hoping to put our house on the market this spring. So, after Rese had finished all of the electrical projects I had in mind, he volunteered to to an initial glance around for other electrical issues that might arise during an inspection. Finally, Rese gave me great advice for recycling my old electric range (we got $12.25 at Acme Metals) and where to get the electric fan motor fixed. The next day, my husband and I managed to get our new kitchen light fixture installed and working. All in all it was an excellent experience.

Repaired BFI switch. Misdiagnosed problems with wires blocking vent. Paid $100 extra to have another contractor resolve. Promised to follow-up, never did.

I had a new dishwasher installed and the outlet the dishwasher plugged into was found to be bad. I called JBL and he could come over later the same day - which he did (with one other fellow). They replaced the outlet. I also had outdoor outlets that someone else (a handyman) had installed and they never worked properly so I had them look at those as well. They found a number of dangerous problems with how those outlets had been installed and had to re-do quit a bit of it. I also had another outlet in a bathroom that needed attention. All in all, I found them to be fair and honest and knowledgable. I was very happy to have it all taken care of in a timely manner!

It was great, Both of them were the sweetest guys ever.

He arrived exactly on time and was ready to go to work after explaining what I needed to have done. Even came back the next day to do some minor finish work. Very pleasant experience.

I can highly recommend JBL Electrical Services... very professional and conscientious. I had them out to replace 5 fire/smoke alarms and replace a ceiling fan light kit. I will definitely call for future electrical work. An excellent experience. Thank you JBL!

JBL was initially contacted to install a ceiling fan. However when he came he expressed concern over possible asbestos in the ceiling, problems with putting in a new hole in the ceiling for the fan, and old improper wiring. He noticed that the past repairs had not obtained an electrical permit and there were errors in the wiring. He obtained a City inspection and did repairs and requiring as needed. The ceiling fans were never installed due to his concerns and lack of remaining funds.

Rese was on time and very professional. He installed the thermostat, and then worked on replacing some of our old outlets. While he was working, he explained what he was doing to my husband (I was at work), so that he would be able to replace other outlets on his own. He also provided some suggestions for a couple of future projects.

Very prompt. Very good work technically. Kitchen fixture replacement required placement of a plastic ceiling electrical box as the old fixture had one internally; JBL provided this; this was truly good service. Problems: 1) A large glass shade was broken as they hung one fixture. They wanted to try to replace it then and there by going to the place we bought it, but we did not have sufficient information (part. no.) handy. I don't know if we were more sad that the glass was broken or happy with their immediate offer to replace it which was very good service. 2) An Allen wrench tool that we provided for part of the work has been missing since the service visit.

I called them to come and evaluate my situation and provide an estimate. They came when they said they would and were professional, yet cordial and friendly. They emailed me an estimate in a few days. A few days later I called and we agreed on a time for the work. They showed up on the agreed time. The duration to complete the job and the cost were as they estimated. They cleaned up after themselves and I am very satisfied with their work. I would recommend them to anyone that needs an electrician. The cost seemed reasonable although I did not have a calibration point.

I can't say enough about Rese! He was on time and was very professional. He took the time to explain what the problem was and answered all my questions. He is very knowledgeable and has awesome work ethics. He took the time to follow up with a phone call after the appointment to make sure he had answered all my questions. Overall, the job went perfect. Replacing fans for a 23 year old house. I expected problems with the one fan and JBL was able to overcome them. As I stated above, my very handy cousin was not able to replace the one fan. "Something" had been stripped, the mounting box was not appropriate. JBL was on time, timely with the appointment and very professional.

They were wonderful. They came and installed each very carefully. I called them back because I was having trouble using them. He came back and helped me, found out that one of the brand new controls were defected and replaced it. He came out a total of three times with a worker. I was really impressed with his determination to make sure things were right. We usually have on/off switches or high/low switches, so having a electric thermostat that adjust as needed is really helpful. I plan to call him again.

It was a very good experience.
