This was a very pleasant experience. The company was easy to deal with from start to finish and did a great job. It is impossible to tell that they are resurfaced rather than new tops.

Everything went very smooth overall and like I said before, these people are honest and they care about the quality of their work and how their customers feel. Great Company!!!!
Description of Work: Everyone was great in explaining the process of how they redo antique tubs and how it would be done. They told me that it would take 3 to 4 weeks and it only took them 1 and a half weeks to complete the job. I LOVE my new tub and I feel that the price was fair and that all of the people that work at this establishment are honest. They even delivered my tub to my home and did not charge me a dime for delivery. They said they were already in the area and they would be happy to drop the tub off at my home. Not a lot of people now days would do that, but this company did!!! A PLUS!!!!

There was a lot of confusion with scheduling. Phone numbers were mixed up, scheduled dates not met, but when they arrived, it was excellent service. I only wished the debris from the repair would have been picked up.
Description of Work: Punctured bathtub hole the size of a golf ball was repaired. The tub backing was reinforced, filled, and matched to the existing color. You cannot tell there was a hole in the tub and the surface is blemish free. Great work! You won't believe the before and after picture.

The previous owner of our home had damaged a portion of our bathroom countertop with a candle. We tried everything to get the yellow-ish stain out of our white cultured marble countertop. Nothing worked and we came to the conclusion that we'd have to replace the entire thing...until I ran across All Surface Refinishing in our local Home magazine. I contacted Don, explained our situation and even sent pictures. He called back right away and explained that he could remove the stain without having to refinish the entire countertop. This was on a Friday and they were at my house the following Monday. Derek, our repair technician, was extremely polite and went right to work. In about 30 minutes he had the stain out and it looked perfect. You'd never know there was a stain. I was very impressed. And it saved me a ton of money in replacement costs! I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: I contacted All Surface Refinishing to refinish my stainless steel bathtub. The tub had been previously refinished, but the job was not done well and already was peeling. All Surface gave me a reasonable quote and set up an appointment for a technician. The technician called when he was on his way, and he arrived on time. The job took about 3 hours to complete. So far, I am very satisfied. The finish looks great, and the technician cleaned up all debris etc. and left the bathroom very neat and clean. Although I can't yet speak to the long-lasting quality of the work, I am very pleased with the initial results.

They were on time, on top of it, professional, and they did a really great job. I didn't do a whole lot of shopping around but I thought the price was very fair for what they did. Everybody that has looked at his been astounded by the work. The young man that did the work was a gentlemen and the owner was a really nice guy. He gave me the best advice he could from his experience. I am going to recommend them to my neighbor.

The job took three days from start to finish. We went to Lowe's to find color swatches that matched what we wanted in the final refinished color -- two shades of a similar color were chosen, with the vanity tops to be one color, and the shower and sunken tub to be another. The workmen arrived on time, were unfailingly polite and always considerate of household routines, disrupting as much as possible, and cleaning up after themselves at the end of each days work. The crew did a meticulous job of taping and papering over every surrounding surface in both bathrooms, as well as removing or taping over the designer faucets, so that not one bit of spillover or spray-over onto the wood cabinets or floors or fixtures occurred at any point in the operation. Next was the preparation of surfaces for the primer. This included a positively astounding job of filling all holes in that long abandoned Jacuzzi tube, so that one would think that they were never there. The entire surface of the tub was as smooth as glass. The process of surface preparation was not unduly noisy .... no ear-splitting grinding of surfaces with loud machinery was necessary. Relatively quiet sanding and smoothing equipment was used, as well as manual work to remove surface in perfections such as pits and scrapes and scars. The initial coat of primer that must be placed on the surfaces (a rather shocking pink!) had a strong smell somewhat like airplane glue, but it was in no way irritating or toxic (not even to the delicate lungs of our 22 year old cat). The company used a large ventilating machine which sucked air from the work area through a sort of fabric wind tunnel, out a window some 25 feet from the work area. The smell of the primer application was noticeable throughout the house for a day or so (especially after returning to the house from a short absence), BUT no actual fumes were ever present at any time -- therefore there was no burning or itching of eyes or throat (even with us wearing contacts) and it was quite tolerable. If my frail 22 year old cat could do fine with this, I would certainly assume that infants would also. Although you might not want to have guests during this time, we easily survived the temporary odor of the primer. The next step was application of the colored acrylic-epoxy-type surface, which is sprayed on. The color is beautiful. After drying the surfaces were buffed. Bottom line, the transformation is astounding. The tub and shower and all of the vanity surfaces are beautiful. There is no longer any grout as such .... only a smooth beautiful surface that exactly tracks the tiles and the grout lines without the grout! And there is a 5 year guarantee on the integrity of the surface. I highly recommend this contractor.
Description of Work: We purchased a "potentially wonderful" 40 year old custom built home a couple years ago, which had been abandoned for almost 2 years by the original owners who were elderly, became ill and moved out of state to live with their adult children. We made a number of improvements before we moved in including removal of carpet in favor of all hard flooring, new vinyl in bathrooms, kitchen and laundry, etc. However, the bathrooms remained an eyesore. The 40 year old off-white floor to ceiling ceramic tile in the master shower was cracked in several places, and the grout was dark and discolored from 40 years of wear, tear, and the inevitable mold stains that bleach would not eradicate. The three off-white faux marble vanities in the master and guest baths were a TRUE eyesore -- all three of them, each 5 to 6 feet long with sunken rimless bowels, cigarette burns and chips and cracks here and there, and back splashes long since separated from the vanity tops at the wall. And lastly there was the once beautiful sunken jacuzzi tub in the master bath (which had three levels) that had clearly not been used in many years, had no functional motor, and which was frankly unusable from a health standpoint because water and all manner of crawling insects had laid dormant behind the many quarter-sized jet holes for the years the house was abandoned. We kept the holes covered up with duct tape and tried not to look in that direction of the bathroom if at all possible. Clearly something had to be done. But estimates for a re-do of the bathrooms to install a replacement shower and sunken tub, and to replace the three 5- to 6-foot long bathroom vanity tops was approximately $10,000 at the lowest. No way. And so we called All Surface Refinishing to see what could be done for a do-able price. And we so glad that we did! .

The representative arrived promptly on time - in fact, early. He offered to remove his shoes as he walked through my house. Which was a very nice offer. He inspected the damage to the tub (gouges left when a huge mirror fell off the wall). He explained very clearly the difficulty in matching the swirls in the cultured marble. And that it would most likely look better if it was left alone than if it was patched. He explained that the tub was just fine and completely usable. At this point the decision was made to not repair the tub and to wait and see what choices were made when the bathroom is refinished. I would definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: I called for an estimate on repair of a cultured marble tub that was damaged when a huge mirror fell on it. The representative was honest with me about what the repair would look like once it was finished. The decision was made to wait on the repair and see what choices were made when the bathroom was remodeled.
