Piano Movers of TX are wonderful! They were professional and took great care with my baby grand and my son's percussion instruments. Diane, the contact person, is very personable and articulate. They were so easy to communicate with and they worked with me on my unique circumstance regarding a repair job that had to be done to the piano pedals with another company. The movers were efficient and pleasant as well. This is just an all around great company. I will definitely be calling them in the future and recommending them to folks I know.

The Piano Movers showed up at the address to move the piano from on time. They loaded the piano in their truck without any problems and delivered it to it's new location. I found them to be punctual, courteous and reasonably priced.

Very prompt and on time. Piano that was moved is over 100 years old and they handled it with great care as if it was their own. I would hire these guys again without hesitation! I would hire this company for any moving job.

I had contacted the company earlier in the spring to get a quote for moving a piano from my Mother's home in Dallas to my home in Coppell. I was impressed with the quick response and quote. I had indicted that I was not prepared to schedule the move at that time as I was unsure of my schedule. They even followed up with an email the next week trying to schedule the move. I emailed that I appreciated the email, but had yet to decide on a moving date. I would email when I was ready for the move. Several months pass and I was ready to set a definite move date in July. I emailed three (3) times and called once. To date I have not received an email or a telephone call! Even if you are unavailable to provide services in the timeframe I had suggested (I had a three week window of availability) I would expect a call or email to at least thank me for the opportunity to provide services. I can't tell you how disappointed then angry I became at the poor customer service! I had even waited to contact other movers for a week in hopes I could work with this company. Thanks to Angie's List I was able to schedule the piano move with another company that was highly rated. They did a fantastic job at a cheaper rate!
Description of Work: Nothing! I couldn't even get a return telephone call or email after numerous attempts.

Response from PIANO MOVERS OF TEXAS
Wow what can i say. I know we had communicated at one point several months ago and i won't dispute you contacted us more recently but with the volume of work we have had this summer I'm amazed you're the only person we may have over looked. My reputation for dependable quality service is more important then profit. I'll make no excuses but in the last 3 months our little company has moved over 350 pianos and that half as many as the complete year of 2012. I do have one question and that is how can you rate our company on services you haven't received. In this case I believe we may rate a poor grade for responsiveness but the other grades seem no applicable

Great to work with except for one thing. I called the day before and told them that my regular movers and the piano movers were both scheduled to arrive between 9 am and 10 am. I asked if they could be there as early as possible so as to not have a conflict between the two movers. I was told that they would be there at 8:45 but unfortunately they did not show up until almost 10. They did have a good excuse, but it made me miss a very important appointment. Other than that, everything went great, piano moved without a scratch.

We had such a wonderful experience. Gordon and his company were always kind and professional. They quoted less than others we had received. They were on time and got the piano in my house without any issues. They really seemed to care about me having my childhood piano and that I could finally start playing again! You cannot go wrong with this company!!!

They called ahead to let me know when the piano would be moved, the actual mover (instead of dispatch) also called me, to be sure that the time they'd arrive would not conflict with a meeting I told them I'd have a little later. They were there a few minutes before they said they would be, were professional and friendly and moved the piano to exactly where I wanted.

We had our floors redone and had to move all furniture to the garage which we did ourselves except for the 160 yr old Austrian baby grand piano. I call Piano Movers of Texas and they were great; on time, good communication about scheduling and a great price. They are top notch, handled the old piano with care.

We got the moving service when we needed it, and our piano sounds great!
Description of Work: We hired Piano Movers to move and store a piano we bought and then again, to move that piano into our new home. They did a great job: they were flexible in terms of scheduling, were very careful in moving our piano, and very responsive to our concerns. I didn't compare prices with other piano movers specifically, but I know their prices are competitive with moving companies.

Couldn't be happier with the outcome and the process.
Description of Work: The job was to move a baby grand piano from my neighbor's house. The movers showed up 10 minutes early, professionally prepared the piano for moving, moved it to my house, and reassembled it, all in the space of about 35 minutes. They were polite and friendly. I was imagining some ordeal, but it was a pleasure to have the move done so expeditiously.

I thought their price were very reasonable, I was really happy with them. We had an issue afterwards and they were very good about following up with us for several months with it. They were very good with communication and returning some calls and e-mails, we were very happy with them. They also had good customer service. I dealt with 3 different people, 2 in person and 1 over the phone and they were all just very nice, very helpful and polite. I highly recommend them.

Great job and a good value.
Description of Work: Two large men came to my mother's house and moved an upright piano into their truck. They made it look easy. It was then delivered to my son's house, about 25 miles away, where they were very helpful in setting it up. The piano arrived in perfect shape. They were friendly, punctual and professional. I had talked to other movers who did not specialize in moving pianos and they were much pricier. We were extremely pleased with the job and would definitely use them again.

I had used these folks a couple of times before to move my studio piano literally across the street to a neighbor's house in East Dallas so that a neighbor's child could try out piano lessons. They were punctual, very careful, and generally nice guys. they charged a $50 trip charge for each of those moves, which was great. So when I needed to move my parents' baby grand from their remote farmhouse 70 miles north of Dallas, I called them. They quoted $350 to come out in the country, down several back roads, through a gate and 1/4 mile up a private gravel road to the house. They arrived on time on a Saturday afternoon, complete with their large pickup, specially designed trailer and sheets of plywood to guide the piano safely down 4 uneven old concrete steps, down a brick path and over a gravel driveway to the trailer, which they had to turn around on muddy pasture in the rain. They took the piano 15 miles into town to my cousin's, up several wood steps and into her living room without a scratch. And all in good humor, even though it was a difficult move.

They arrived on time, were careful in moving across wood floors. Transported safely. Got upstairs with minimal fuss and no problems. Very nice throughout, very polite. Old fashioned quality service at a very competitive rate.
Description of Work: Wonderful people; excellent service. Very professional and fast. Would definitely use again and recommend fully! They were asked to move small studio style piano from our home in Flower Mound to an upstairs apartment in Dallas. They were also paid to tune piano. The piano tuning took place after the move and around our son's schedule. We have not heard yet about the tuning part and will update review when we do. But am sure it went well.
