M. G. Welding & Fences

It went really well. I had been holding on to a bar cart for years while I tried to find someone to replace the bent casters. I didn't know what type of service I needed until I asked my cabinet maker and he said a welder. I did not think I would find a welder on Angie's List but I did. I called M.G. Welding and spoke to Marvin, then I sent him a picture of the cart. He said I could bring it by the next day. I brought it we discussed what I need done and agreed on a price and he fixed it within 30 minutes. I am very pleased with the work.

Service was amazing!! Marvin was extremely attentive to our needs. We had a small delay with HOA approval, and he helped us with that process and patiently waited until we received the final approval. Also, the actual fence and all the patio railing look amazing along with the quality of work. It definitely adds another feature to the house. We are extremely thankful and highly recommend this company.

Marvin is a Very experienced professional. He knows his stuff! Price was very reasonable. Provided great advice on maintenance of iron gate and fence. Definitively will use for any future work and highly recommend.

Marvin did a great job repairing some fencing damage, poured new posts and fixed several weak points with welding. I'd definitely hire him again.

MG Welding provided a cost free estimate. When contract was approved, they scheduled a date to begin work. MG showed up on time and delivered services per contract and to our full satisfaction. Services provided were very professional and courteous. Overall excellent experience. Would definitely hire MG for future work.

He called ahead, and showed up later on the same day I initially called him. Everything repaired and working. Excellent work.

Marvin took notes and measurements and said he would send me quotes. I talked to him twice and he remembered meeting but was not sure if he had the quote in his computer. Since then I've called 5 times leaving messages. Have still not heard back. Will not use him and don't recommend.

Very good, a little longer than expected, but appears to be quality. The quote was done by someone who actually knows welding not just a salesman, that gave us confidence that it would be done right.

marvin called back exactly when he said he would, and the job (though messy and potentially dangerous because they required working with a grinding wheel) was done quickly and professionally. I was very pleased, and would not hesitate to call him again.

He responded quickly, did a great job in a timely fashion, and was reasonably priced.

2 workers took, about an hour. He did a good job left are clean. They fixed something I did not think would be fixable.

Marvin did a very nice job and completed the job per the schedule we agreed upon. He cleaned up after himself when the work was done and was careful not to damage other work that had been done in the area.

Marvin was unprofessional and unresponsive. He made promises about inspecting my property 3 times and there was absolutely no follow through. The last time i spoke with him he told me to text him my address and that he would go out the following day. He never showed up, Never called. Never texted me back.

It went very well. They started the next day by taking down the rusted fence and replacing the poles in concrete. They constructed the fence sections offsite and brought them to my house. They welded the sections on to the poles and painted the fence to match the existing fence. They cleaned up. I am pleased with their work.

MG did a great job in the back yard and in the front with the two railings. He welded everything on site, then wiped everything down and painted the fences and railings. He and his partner were wonderful; very pleasant, prompt and experts in their field.

Fine except for 2 broken sprinkler lines.

I called three of the welders on this site. One said, we have a $500 minimum no matter the repair. Next one asked me to email her pictures and she would give us a quote and could come that day. Emailed twice, called back - no response. Third was the charm. Called M.G. Welding - he was very nice on the phone and said he could come in the morning at 10:30. He called the next morning at 9:30 said he might be early - he arrived at 10:00. He took off the broken hinges - actually took the time to re-align our gate to where it fit better than it had, then put the hinges back on - did a nice thorough weld on both and then painted the weld's to match the rest of the iron fence. Had a lot of tips on how to maintain the fence gate hinges that the person who put the fence in 3 years ago never told us. I would recommend him as he was fair, on time, did a quality job. We would use him again without hesitation.

It went great! Martin is extremely responsive by phone and text. Biggest challenge was getting in line to have him get the job scheduled. My fence, which many noted needed to be replaced, looks beautiful now with a bit of re-welding and painting. Martin was also gracious to allow us to have a phase 1 and phase 2 on our project - phase 2 will be the installation of a gate opener.

Marvin did a great job and I would have him do work for me in the future.

Very good experience from start to finish. Marvin was very good at communicating what it would look like when finished and it indeed looked as he described.

MG was very efficient and knew the processes involved. Worked for almost four hours completing the repairs and was equipped with appropriate tools and spare parts to complete the project. Project involved cutting through metal welds and re-setting new hinges on a 6 inch pipe gate post. MG was friendly and communicated with the owner and explained what was to be done to complete the project. Would recommend MG for Welding and metal fence work. Response for appointment was timely and punctual. highly recommend.

Marvin, the owner, came in person and discussed the pros and cons of locating the new wrought iron fence at various points along the side of the house. He welcomed our design ideas, and, of course, he had great ideas that we incorporated in the final design. The fence location and design had to be approved by the HOA, and included a requirement that the fence match the existing fence in our back yard and our neighbor's side fence. Once the design was approved by the HOA, we set a date for construction and Marvin proceeded with the job, matching everything perfectly, and using the shiny finish black paint that we preferred. His work is A +. We will use his services again when we need wrought iron fence work to be done.
