Great from first phone call until job was completed

The good news is the company will provide quotes on the telephone; their people are very friendly and work that was done was of good quality. I called them on Wednesday morning and they provided a quote a couple hours later and said they could not do all the work on the quote on Friday, but they would do the kitchen work and come back on Monday to finish the rest of the items on the quote. I called back a few hours later and hired them to install bathroom and kitchen faucets, reconnect the sinks to the drains, and install a new master shut off valve for the home. Prior to calling any of the companies for a quote, my husband who is a general contractor and has lots of plumbing background, explained to me that the water supply line for the kitchen faucet would have to be relocated in order to make room to install the new and bigger (quiet) garbage disposal. He also explained that the drain would have to be completely reworked and that "everything" under the sink would need to be replaced. He opted not to do the work himself because the supply line would need to be relocated. I explained this in detail when requesting the quote on the telephone. Their telephone quote was almost identical to another quote I received the same day by a plumber that had just come out to my home to quote the same work. On Friday, the plumber arrived and I showed him all the work that needed to be done. When he looked at the garbage disposal and the kitchen sink/drain he said the best thing to do is to install it on the opposite side of the double sink instead of where the old one had been for over 10 years. He said it would be much easier to move it to the other side and as a result the water supply line would not have to be moved as I described would need to be done when I received my original quote. I expected since it was less work (supply line would not need to be relocated) that the price would be reduced from the original quote. The plumber went outside and came back inside and said he called the owner while outside and that the price would stay the same. I had now been without kitchen plumbing for 4 days & hired this company due to their quicker than other company's response time. Now I would be back to square one with no kitchen plumbing, so I had the plumber proceed with the work even though I did not agree with the price. At the end of the installation I called their office and asked to speak to the owner about the amount the plumber was charging and was put on hold. I noticed that the plumber who was standing right there when I made the call then went outside. While I was holding for the owner to discuss the charge, the plumber came back in the house and waved his hands to get my attention and said he just called the owner and the owner said to reduce the price to $275. since it was less work than they had originally quoted. How did the plumber call after I was already on hold for the owner, and get through to him before me, and within 2 minutes came back in my home offering a reduced price. Seems a little fishy to me. I thanked him and paid for the work. Issues started again on Monday morning. Since I was not given a specific time on Wednesday when I originally scheduled the job as to when they would be out on Monday to do the rest of the work, I called them at 8am on Monday morning. I was told they did not have me scheduled for Monday or any other day!. How frustrating! They called me back about 45 minutes later and said they could get the same plumber out that day, and gave a time frame for his arrival. They could not explain why my job was not on the schedule for Monday or any following day. He arrived over an hour and half later than that time frame I was given. Since I had been without sink/faucet in the master bathroom for 4 days, over the weekend my husband and I decided to install them in the master bathroom. We also had time to install the two upstairs bathroom faucets, but not their sinks to the drains. We also still needed the master shut off valve replaced, the biggest item on the quote. I explained this Monday morning at 8 am when I called to get the arrival time. I reviewed the remaining work again with the plumber when he arrived and he then went outside where he said he made a phone call to the owner. I still don't understand why he could not have made the call why inside my home. Why did all these calls have to be done outside the presence of the home owner? He indicated that although the faucets (8" spread) were already installed they would only reduce the price by $30.00 from the original quote that was for both the faucet and sink/drain connection. I was told by several companies including this one that the majority of the cost of the quote was for the faucet/sink drain combo install was for the faucet because the 8" spread faucets were so time comsumming. Now I felt I was being taken advantage of and the explanation the plumber gave didn't agree with what I was told when originally given the quote on Wednesday by the office. No longer able to trust (him/them) I told him I no longer felt comfortable doing business with his company. I am not sure whether the majority of the problem I had was just with this one plumber or if his actions are representative of the company's way of doing business. Either way, I would think when the plumber showed up on Monday and I elected not to do the rest of the work that someone in the office and or the owner would have wondered why and followed up with me, but no one did.

They were good. The technician was good. He looked knowledgeable. The washer was missing in one and that person foresaw it and it was in faucet so he came back again ….something like that. We always read the review and it’s good so far.

I am very pleased with the work Alpha Omega Plumbing did for me. Michael was finished in no time! The price quoted on the phone was 125.00, but I was only charged 105.00. I was able to make an appointment for the next day, and Michael was on time, and very professional. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing repairs to my rental home. I also want to point out how nice the receptionist was on the phone. Sorry, I forgot her name, but she is very personable, easy to talk to.

Michael was the young plumber that attended, he was punctual and professional. He determined the exact problem and went about rectifying it, did not take to long and the problem has been resolved. They did a really good job and probably saved our lives. When he took our water heater out, he noticed that it wasn't long until the unit itself would have collapsed and would have caused a gas leak. I made a call and they arrived promptly and we were pleased with the work.

Leak in our yard. Called them. The serviceman came out and was only about 15 minutes late of when they said he'd be here. He asked many questions and diagnosed it as something totally unrelated to what we thought it was. He repaired it and that seemed to do the trick. The price was reasonable. However, they refused to come to our area the second time I tried to use their services, saying they did not service this area.

The installation was fairly smooth. The unit isn't as reliable as we had assumed it would be only because it is apparently very sensitive to water flow to trigger the hot water heater.

When easy plumbing jobs go wrong, many plumbers will make excuses, point the finger at someone else or just deny it was not their job. Not so with Alpha Omega. Initially dissatisfied with the job, I asked owner Mr. Doug Street to come to the house. He took one look at the job and said “ I will make this right”, no excuses, no finger pointing. Anyone one can make a mistake. Few are willing to do the right thing. That, to me, distinguishes just a plumber from a good reputable plumber. This is not your ordinary endorsement. You want not only a good job but satisfaction guaranteed, go with Alpha Omega.

Phoned Omega at 4pm on Saturday, left message with anwering service, got a call back in less than 30min. Very courteous lady said service guy could be dispatched immediately but was on another side of town. Doug arrived around 630 due to heavy weekend traffic, got right to work. Ran auger down clean out 75ft to street X3 to make sure stoppage was completely cleared. Meticulous ;and professional about keeping work area clean and clean up afterward. This kind of outfit is hard to find, will use them in the future for other work I have on my 28 year old house.

I have used them several times. They were very good, dependable and punctual. They were really good to work with. I will use them again.

The office staff (Lisa and Alice) were helpful and efficient in setting up an appointment. The plumber (Matt) arrived on time and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. All personnel were professional. The cost was a good value for the scope of work.

I looked up information for a plumber since the original plumber came out and was called away on an emergency. I have a home warranty insurance but didn't want to wait any longer. So, I deceided to use Angie's list again since I had such great sucess the last time I used them. I called Alpha Omega plumbing repair and they had someone out to me within a couple of hours. He fixed the problem and then tested everything out to make sure nothing else was wrong with it(original plumber stated it was not the gas valve). I had not had hot water for almost two weeks, so needless to say I was thrilled. I will definitely call these guys again!

We liked them and they were very nice. A couple of guys came out and fixed it. They didn't have to dig too deep and it was in our flower bed. They did a good job.

I called them in the late evening, and they came the next morning at 8 am. They found the leak relatively quickly, and they were in and out in about two hours. They did good work and fixed the problem.

I called late morning to have someone come and unplug my toilet which was backing up. The woman that answered the phone was polite and arranged to have someone come and do the work that afternoon. They showed up when I was told they would. The repairman discussed possible solutions to the various possibilities for the plug and gave the price for each one. Luckily it was an easy fix and they were in and out in 15 minutes. They were polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

They were highly recommended. They sent a joke to my house. He will not be coming back to my home. Doug Street, the owner, should have come to see what this man did to me. I called Doug Street and he has yet to get back to me. I explained I wanted a Delta faucet. I do not want a cartridge faucet. The Delta you can take a part and clean the inside. It was not what I ordered. He went into the wash basin in the half bath to replace the trap. He tore that thing like crazy and left a big hole in my wall. The sink stopper is not there, must have been thrown away. He went into every one of my bathrooms and changed the valves and one of the valves he put in is leaking. It runs every few minutes. He says the one I had was out of code. I just can’t believe he tore my sink to pieces. He was talking about corrosion. White Vinegar would have taken that off. He didn’t know the difference between minerals in the hard water and the corrosion. He kept calling corrosion hard water minerals. He gave me hell because my children weren’t here to take care of me. I didn’t raise my children to take care of me. This man just got real ugly with me. He put a charge on the bill about a drain. The only drain there is was not touched. The sewage connection is the only drain and he didn’t even know where that was. I take a smaller tube to restrict the water. It irritates me when people waste so much water by having gallons in their toilet bowl. I asked the owner to come by and see what this guy did and he hasn’t. I called a help line and they ended up giving me the number to an attorney. I want Doug Street to see what this guy did to my home as he was being such a nincompoop.

What a great experience and worth double what I paid. Water line broken, and I had no water for two days-try not flushing the toilet for 2 days. Bunch of roots over the line, and took twicwe the time to expose the damaged line. Plumber Matt Ball used only the best parts, and completed the job by removing a house blockage due to the debris in the broken line. He cleaned up afterwords. I called Alpha Omega for service at my rental property. They coordinated with my tenant to complete the repairs. The tenant did report that they were a few hours later than they stated, but when they arrived, they quickly completed the repairs to her satisfaction. They mailed the bill to me and it was reasonable for the services performed. I am quite satisfied with their work.
