It went great. He was able to reuse the rough-ins to the shower and Roman tub, which saved us a lot of money in parts and labor. When installing the lavatory faucets, he also replumbed the P-traps and all other parts without us having to ask. We have used Alpha Omega numerous times and you just can't find a better plumbing service company. We highly recommend them.

He had to dig down 13" to replace the riser, spigot and all fittings. It was a multi-hour process but looks great. I thought his fee was very reasonable considering the difficulty of the job.

The two men that came from Alpha and Omega plumbing to find out what was wrong, they were at our house over an hour and a half before they figured out what was wrong, kept going outside when the issue was clearly from the inside, gave us incorrect information, told us that we had to replace our copper pipes for our entire house (over one cracked pipe) because "the issue could not be repaired" and that it would cost us over $10,000 to do this!! Pulled out wall boarding and insulation and just left it there, they ruined reading material pertinent to my husbands work that cannot be replaced, they left many of their tools at our house and charged us $125 for the pleasure!! They have since said that they would reimburse the $125, but we are still left with the loss of reading material including all of the mess and the replacement if the wall board and insulation.
Description of Work: We called this company that was recommended to us when we realized that we had flooding in the kitchen and laundry room obviously caused by a plumbing issue.

Response from Alpha Omega Plumbing Repair
2nd response These allegations are untrue and I regret having to say this but I am simply denying these allegations for what they are and further more I have sufficient proof. I spoke with homeowner and he told me that plumber did not want to do the work and he wanted his money back or he was goeing to give me a bad report. I told him I would return his money on a Monday. Then on Sunday before Monday this report came out. I paid a plumber to diagnose a problem and he did. He did not put water on the floor it was already there.

The service was done fast and high quality, although the price was a little high. Both jobs were done very professionally. I think the price for the first job was a little high, but the second job was a good price. I will definitely use them again!

We called a few plumbers early morning of Dec 17th/2013 because of a leak by our water meter in the front yard. The first few plumbers we called were honest and said that they were very busy and they could not fit us in. We called Alpha Omega and they said the plumber would be out there on the same day at Noon. Noon came and went, no plumber, no call to let me know what is going on so I called them and was told that they were running behind and it would be another hour or so. I waited again and 2:00 came and by that time I was having a major leak where the water was actually looking like a fountain and flooding the street! I called again to tell them this is really bad and need someone NOW. Still the same answer so I called my husband to handle this company. They told him that someone will be out there at around 4:30pm. Meanwhile the street is flooding and my money going down the drain. I was very fortunate to have a neighbor come by and turned off the water at the meter and stopped the flooding. The plumber finally arrived at 4:40pm and I was very mad and stressed by that time and mentioned it to him that you are 5 hours late. He then replied that they were short plumbers that day! Why oh Why did Alpha Omega even put me on their schedule when they knew they were short and not able to get someone out there by noon? I would have called another plumber to handle the leak. So I will never ever use Alpha Omega again! I would like to know why no one even bother to call me to let me know that they were running late, I had to call them to find out why I am sitting at home all day waiting while I watch my street flood! Ridiculous. By the way it only took the plumber less then 30 minutes to fix the leak.

,The plumber was on time. That's the only good part of this experience. I was charged a $75.00 service call plus $50.00 dollars labor for the guy to unscrew the aerator, wash it and put it back on. After he wrote up the ticket, I realized I had just received the Angie's List booklet with Alpha Omega's ad in it that stated they give discounts to Angie's List customers. I showed him the ad and he said he had never seen anything like that and most customers gave him coupons printed from the internet. I told that I would go print one from the internet then, but it would take a few minutes. He said he would have to charge me for that. This guy wasn't kidding!!! I told him to call his office which he did and I was given a $10.00 discount. I stewed about the price and this guy's behavior for a couple of hours and then called their office and related my experience. She seemed as shocked as I was and said the owner would be calling me. I haven't heard anything from anyone at Alpha Omega. They advertise big city service for small town prices.......not true!! I will never use the provider again. Their prices are exhorbitant.
Description of Work: The provider said the aerator was leaking on my laundry room sink. He took it off, and rinsed it and put it back on. He also said the faucet was loose and tightened it. This took about 10 minutes and in the middle of that 10 minutes, the guy had to move his truck because my son needed to leave and the plumber's truck was in my driveway.

They came and gave me a free estimate, returned and installed the parts. However, they did not put on the valve the city requires for inspection, so they came the following day and put on the valve. The next day they removed the valve and reinstalled the other piping. They gave me a price which was hundreds of dollars less than the first company I called, and did not charge for the estimate. They did the work well, although one plumber was not aware that the city required the pressure valve ot be on during the inspection. Overall I was very pleased with their service.

Sink and garbage disposal were replaced by one person. Although it took awhile, the work was done right the first time, very professional. I had NOT asked for a quote prior to service. Actual price was slightly higher than I expected. I then asked for estimate on replacing Water Heater. This estimate of 1,100 was the exact price of work performed a few days later by two other workers from the same company. This was done quickly, smoothly and professionally. No complaints, would definitely use them again.

I called them last week 10/14 to arrange an estimate to run a gas line into my utility room. The appointment was set between 1:00 - 3:00 Friday. I had to take a half a day off of work to wait for them. I called at 2:00 to make sure we were still a go and was told "I was just about to call you. The guy who was supposed to do your estimate went home with the stomach flu" I understand that and reschedule on Monday (during my vacation while my son is here from CA) for between 2:00 - 4:00 Pm. I called at 2:30 and was told we were on schedule. I waited until 4:15 when I called back and was told that he was at the stop before mine and should be at my place within the hour. I told them that I would not be waiting since they have wasted almost 6 hours of my time already. I'll be looking for another plumber. I'm disappointed as they were suggested by my home inspector who I really liked.

AWFUL! Disastrous!! The owner came out with a helper and about twenty minutes into the installation water was flooding through my master bedroom ceiling. The plumbers never came and told me or my husband what was happening. About a half hour into the install my husband discovered our bedroom ceiling blown apart and water and wet insulation and drywall debris everywhere in the bedroom! All over our solid cherry wood dressers, night tables, king size bed and plush carpeting. The two plumbers were scrambling to contain and clean all at the same time. The owner told us that he had "forgotten" to check the drain line running across the attic BEFORE draining the water heater! At first, the owner tried to talk us out of making a claim with his insurance company. He stated that he had had two other claims earlier that same year (2012) and that he wanted to prevent his insurance from going up! We were in shock as to the whole mess created by his negligence. We finally insisted that he make a claim for us and we were treated like dirt by his insurance company, Farmer's. We eventually had to make a claim with our own insurance to get paid for all of our losses! The total of damages far exceeded ten thousand dollars..... and the plumber had the nerve to come back ten days after destroying our master bedroom to collect the fourteen hundred dollars he charged for the new heater......we paid him gladly so we did not ever have to deal with him again. His wife even refused to get us proof of the extended warranty we paid for AND to this day she wouldn't help us get a certified letter from the Dry Force company that the plumber called out to dry everything out for three days! So, we are left with no proof when we go to sell our home that everything was dried out according to standards. To make matters worse, when all this happened I had only been out of the hospital for a week from two major surgeries and my husband and I were not only left with the whole mess to deal with but also we were forced out of our bed and into bunk beds for over three months!! We are elderly and so this is why I mention this......the plumber and his wife (who runs his office) could have cared less!!

Response from Alpha Omega Plumbing Repair
Member has this home owner registered for an 8yr warranty. It was her drain line that was broken and water had, prior to our company being there, leaked before which caused the sheetrock to be somewhat separated from joists it was nailed to. The Sheetrock nails were rusty and that is how you could tell they had been wet before. The bed room furniture did not get wet and wasn't ruined it did get dry insulation on it. I took pictures of the bottom edge of dresser where the veneer was loose before it was moved. The carpet was wet in about a 4 square foot area and after cleaning and drying would have been fine. My first thought was not to protect my self but to take care of this customer as quickly as possible and that is why I called company out first thing to clean and dry things out. I also called a remodel company with high ratings on Angie's List to take care of restoration work. I also took with me pillow shams and other things of a leopard design which were very old but had sentimental value. Before I could get them to the cleaners I was told that I wasn't to be trusted and to bring items back. I've had the same insurance provider for my entire time in bus. We have a very good relationship and I was simply trying to expedite matters as this happened on Friday and I did not expect my customer to wait till Mon for service. Weeks later after work was completed I went to collect for the job but to my knowledge the complete bill was never paid. I will post a revised response if I am wrong.

Like so many people I am getting older and wanted a bathroom that would be versatile for myself and others. We replaced a tub in an upstairs bathroom with a shower. It took me months to find just the right shower pan. I ordered a Kohler shower pan with a teak drain cover and it took 6 weeks for delivery. Alpha Omega came out promptly to give an estimate and schedule the work. Then the disappointment began. The plumber recommended putting concrete under the shower pan to support it. You cannot imagine my horror at seeing a 6' guy jumping up and down on my brand new beautiful shower pan trying to level it in the concrete. I can't imagine this is the way it's done but it's my first bathroom renovation. The front of the shower pan is out of level by 3/8 of an inch. But the back of the shower pan against the wall is out of level by several inches. The pictures are worth a thousand words. The shower pan does drain in spite of being un-level but that isn't what I paid for....the shower pan is the foundation of the bathroom renovation and everything builds on top of it. The tile installer worked very hard to compensate for the shower pan. You can see in the pictures how the first row of tiles had to be individually cut. And that isn't the end of the problems! I wanted frameless glass shower doors. The glass installer told me I would have to order a hinged door because sliding doors would not stay shut. I am still in the process of solving this dilemma. I also was upset that the plumber used plastic hoses in the wall instead of the brass piping that he rearranged. I was so upset that I FORGOT to use my Angie's List COUPON. I call Alpha Omega's office twice and left messages for the owner to call me. I have not heard back from them.

The telephone interaction was not rude but definitely not professional. I had to ask the same question several times to get a truthful answer to a very important fact. This company charges to give a quote or look at work. They might be a good company or not BUT... the evasive, half-answers to a direct question leave a very negative about this company.
