Description of Work: Ran a gas line for a gas stove top and did the plumping the the new kitchen sink with garbage disposal. They did a great job! Have used them for some other misc plumping projects too.

Description of Work: Owner/manager was rude. When improperly fixing a leaky faucet and I called, I was told that I was a chronic complainer. Was irate and combative.

Description of Work: I called on a Saturday monring at 8:00 about a clogged kitchen drain. They said someone would be out in "about an hour". After almost two hours I called back, and was talked to as if I was the problem and I should understand that it was Saturday and I need to be patient. The tech started by opening the pipes below and letting them drain into OUR bucket. Then, scraped funk out with a tool which went all over the sink cabinet. He then said he had to "run to the shop right down the road to get a tool. I had to call him an hour later to see why he had not come back, and he got annoyed with me, stating "I should have told him we had somewhere to go, and that it was not his fault the shop was locked and he had to call someone to let him in. (I'm wondering why a plumber shows up without the proper tools to begin with) He returned, repeated the same "snaking" process over and over (for another hour) Then claimed he really needed a camera to see why it is not working, but he could not get that until Monday and he hated to keep charging me the "Saturday Rates" (first time I heard of that) if he cant fix it. When I refused, he miraculously was able to fix it and it drained fine. He told me he called a supervisor and "was only gonna charge me $250", which I thought was a rip off but I wasn't about to argue with a young man that was clearly not happy to be there in the first place.

Description of Work: Looked for gas line in wall. Didnt find it but it was there. Found a leak in hvac system but couldnt get guy to send pic he took. Nice enough man but not sure if he was a licensed plumber since his number was not on business card. Couldnt get written estimate to get gss line from one wall to stove. My husband found it on the left side of stove. Work not required.

Description of Work: Came out afterhours ,the same day we had an emergency backup of the sewer line. They scanned the line and found roots had grown into the main line from the house. Routed the line and cleared massive root buildup. We have always had great service from alpha and omega. We found them very honest and fair in the work as well as pricing. Once, in the past, we thought we had a recurring problem, called them to come back to check and they were back within that same day and no charge. Like I said before, honest as the day is long. Good reliable service everytime.

Description of Work: Inspected leak outside and determined sprinkler system valve was compromised. Fixed in less than 15 minutes; water immediately receded and stopped.

Description of Work: I was having issues with toilets backing up, drains not draining, etc. As a new member of Angie's list, this is the first place I looked for assistance. I called Alpha Omega Plumbing at 11:59pm last night. They advertised 24 hour and emergency service available. I explained the situation to the lady I spoke to. I left my home telephone number, my cell number, my wife's cell number. The lady said someone would be in touch with me soon. Here it is 1:42 pm on Saturday and I have still not even received a telephone call them. I will not be calling them again.

Description of Work: On 26 Nov, I scheduled an appointment for an estimate for a jacuzzi tub repair/replacement in my bathroom for 11/29/2012 between the hours of 9a and 12p. I got a call at approx 12:40 from their office that the plumber would not be able to make it out today. (I took off of work for this today.) I was asked of he could come tomorrow, but told her that I was not available. So she asked if I could rescehdule for another date. Understanding that unforeseen circumstances occur, I figured I'd give them another chance, so I said "How about Monday?" She then told me that they were booked up all next week and it would be a while before he could come out. On top of that, she never gave me a reason why he no-showed me. I told her no thank you. If they're that busy, they dont need my business.

Description of Work: I had called because I had noticed water leaking along the brick line of the house after turning the dishwasher on inside the home. Matt (the plumber who showed up on time) assessed the problem. After pulling out the dishwasher, he found that there was a water leak from the motor of the dishwasher. He also found that the electrical line that had been hooked up to the garbage disposal was not done correctly (could have been electricuted). While he was there, I asked that he correctly hook up the p-trap that had been under the sink (when the home had been purchased) because I could tell it had not been properly installed. He replaced 2 shut off valves for kitchen faucet; added shut off valve for dishwasher (as I haven't purchased new one yet); pulled broken dishwasher out; plugged off dishwasher drain @ garbage disposal; ran 1/2" copper through brick to add an outside faucet in front of house (for watering yard); replumbed kitchen drain and replaced p-trap; he insulated outside faucet; and tested and checked for leaks. Matt was very professional and informative. He told me that your outside water hose should never be left hooked up to faucet. He told me about a new gadget called a "quick connect valve" that enables you to disconnect your water hose from the spicket without having to "screw" off the water hose. While he was working, I went to hardware store and purchased same. I LOVE it. Disconnecting the water hose from the spicket, keeps water in the line from backing up into your home's water line; plus your water hose will last longer. You already know to drain water from your water hose after using it. Be sure when buying a water hose, to make sure the valves are "brass" fittings - they will definitely last longer. I loved the whole experience. An excellent job done and I learned something too.

Description of Work: I had very old copper tubing coming into the house then conecting to the shut off values hot and cold at my kitchen sink. He removed the old copper and replaced it with proper material, and then new shut off handles. He doubled and tripled checked everything for leakes, and found that one of the brand new pieces that he had installed was defective. So he went to his truck and brought back anought new one. He stayed here an extra 10 mins. to make sure nothing was leaking. I was very impressed.

Description of Work: I have used this company several times for various problems in this old house. Each time the response was very fast. The person responding was prepared for the task and did not have to leave to get parts, etc. The bill was reasonable. The work was rapidly finished and the work area was immaculate on departure. I would recommend them to anyone.
