Great experience; so nice to have our calls and questions answered promptly and politely. The new carpet looks great; Bob and Kim had great advice and selections to help us improve the look of our very worn and ugly stairway. Thank you for the excellent workmanship; the new carpet looks and feels fantastic!

They were very good all the way across. The installers are very friendly, and very competent. We were very pleased. They took the carpet out and cleaned and vacuumed before putting the new carpeting in. They moved all the furnitre and so we were very pleased with the installers and the overall quality of the job. They did it in a quick time, and were done in a day. We got a higher quality material, and obviously the quality of the carpeting varies with the cost. We were pleased with the cost.

The quote process was very smooth with Bob. When they came in to start the actual work, they started by pulling out the old floor. Since that was going to put a lot of dust in the air, they also "closed off" sections of the home with large pieces of hanging plastic, which was much appreciated. When all of the old floor was removed, they noticed some defects that needed to be filled in, so they informed us of that and we went ahead and had that addressed as well. After that settled, they started installing the hardwood flooring. I should also add that the workers on site were very professional and courteous (and they were very nice with my kids as well). I think the entire job from start to finish took about a week and a half, but I could be off by a couple of days. The end product FAR exceeded my expectations and I was very happy with the work done. I'd highly recommend Winston Floors to others!

It went well. They are punctual. They were on time. No problems. They are well managed. They are good overall.

They were awesome. They worked within our time budget (we wanted it done before we moved in) and it was done very quickly and well. They helped us choose and left the house neat. When the carpet in a bedroom pulled up, they came back out and retacked it down.

Team arrived on time and ready to work. First day the removed all the tile and leveled the floor. They brought multiple samples for me to look at and then invited me to the showroom to see other options. On day 2 they installed all the tile and it LOOKS AWESOME. It was very obvious that whoever put in the previous tile didn't really know what they were doing - there were places where things didn't fit right and there was no tile under the stove. I would absolutely have Winston do work for me again. They even went beyond their scope by finding some wood transition pieces for between wood and tile areas that look a great deal better than the ones previously installed. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Just too expensive- professional and great but expensive

We initially spoke to Kim Winston by phone and she conveyed to Bob our wish list. He then came to our home with wonderful samples and suggestions. Part of our old flooring was Mexican tile and when that was removed the floor needed to be made level. The team of hardwood installers took a lot of time to get this right. The carpet installers were wonderful as well. We were extremely happy with the work process and have enjoyed the results for the last 2 plus years. This was such a positive experience.

They were excellent. They were very professional. They were there when they said they would be. If I had any issues, they addressed them right away. They cleaned up at the end of the day so it looked like they hadn't been there. It wasn't cheap but it wasn't too bad. Their price is comparable to everybody I had come out to do an estimate.

Great! Winston has done carpet repair at more than one of my homes. Consistent and fair pricing. He will let you know right away If it's something he can do.

I was at a friends house helping her choose carpet to bind for area rugs when Winston Floors, Bob, came over to bring samples and talk to her about design for rug sizes. They had just completed removing her old carpet and old hardwoods and replacing them with new hardscraped wood floors. Since I had experience and knowledge of remodeling work and was very picky, she asked me to come over. I was very impressed (and she too) with the work they had done on her floors and their professionalism. Their attention to detail and making the floors and baseboards look perfect after installing the hardwoods was near perfect. Bob seemed to pay attention to a persons style, and the first carpet sample he showed was exactly my friend's choice. He seemed to really know flooring and design--knew the sizes of the rugs that would be best for her area given her use. And also he gave her options so she could change sizes and use the left over pieces for smaller throw rugs to keep the cost down. I've had a lot of carpet pieces bound, but Winston Floorings binding was much better than what I have ever had done. So while I did not hire them myself, I did have face to face interaction with Bob, the owner, and see their work quality on hardwoods and rugs. I would definite use them if I needed flooring or binding.

Working with Bob was great. He helped us select the perfect carpet for our house. He never tried to up sell us. Just showed us all our choices (good, better, best) and helped with color selection. They came on time and finished on time. There were no gotchas or hidden charges. His crew is very professional and did a great job. We have had the carpet for 6 months and it is perfect. I will definitely use him again.

Carpet installed in 3 days in late Nov 2013 (3rd day was primarily for stairway): arrived a bit later than expected, however great crew, great job, love the carpet. Tile installed in 3 days in mid Dec 2013 (3rd day primarily for grouting & clean-up); arrived as expected, great crew, great job, love the tile. Winston Floors recommended we use Sunrise Plumbing to reset the toilets. Estimates were well below what the actual plumbing cost was. Bob Winston agreed the charge was unreasonable and refunded some of the cost ... resolved the only glitch that would have left a sour taste since the rest of the project went so well. Recommendation: Use Winston Floors for any flooring projects ... obtain an estimate in writing in advance for any plumbing subcontractors work to be done.

I did not hire the company for the reason stated above. I have no reason to believe that they would provide a sub par service but the 28% premium was way out of line.

They did a good job. I think out of all the companies that we saw or was interviewing for the time, we thought that they had the deepest expertise and produced more options for our consideration without us asking. They were very thorough and prompt on delivery as well. They were very timely and their estimates were pretty much on target. The quality was very high and we've had no issues whatsoever with them. Their pricing was high, but the quality was superior.

Bob and his team did an excellent job. They were courteous and professional. The work took a little longer than expected, but in the end we were very pleased. We are not great at choosing colors and designs, but they were a huge help in choosing those things with us. I will definitely use them again.

The installers were on time and cleaned up beautifully. They set up in our garage and we noticed a small tool missing afterwards. Perhaps they borrowed it and forgot to put it back. The carpet was installed exactly according to schedule. There was some confusion over which Angie's list coupon applied to our job and Winston's was very responsive to my inquiry. I would have liked some contact afterward to ask about my satisfaction....I have some unanswered questions about warranty and cleaning. One small complaint...the Angie's list coupon which was applied had to do with carpet cleaner which was dropped off in a timely mannner. I do not where they stored they cleaner but the bottom of the container was filthy and sticky. Unfortunately, I put it set the container on my counter top and the new carpet before I realized. I would probably use this company again.

Mr. Winston patiently spent a great deal of time with me, helping in the selection of the perfect carpets for my study and master bedroom. He is very knowledgable and experienced. He and his workers were professional, punctual, neat and polite. We are very pleased with our carpet and the experience with Winston Floors.

Bob and Kim Winston are the best. Period. They are both extremely friendly and professional people and handled everything. Even when I had a scheduling problem, they were very accommodating. They also employ the best people. They handled everything. Their installation crews are prompt and professional, and took great care to protect all our belongings and respected our home. I was at the house the hole time and not that I was "supervising" per se`, but I did inspect things fairly closely from time to time; these guys don't cut corners. The wood flooring guys were clean and precise with all the cuts, trim and moldings. When the wood was done, the Carpet installers were out the very next day. Guys got here right on time, and went right to work. I've got to admit that they probably ended up moving a bit more furniture than they bargained for, but they handled it like champs. They knocked out all 4 bedrooms in one day. A solid day. We're totally happy with the product they sold and the service they performed. It's obvious that the Winstons also surround themselves with great partners too. From the Moving company they work with (to clear out my areas getting hardwood -costs extra), John Johnson with West-Star moving. Took great care of our stuff; moving it into the garage, and back in again when the floors were done (all one price). Additionally, I didn't feel like painting the new moldings myself, so they recommended a Painter. Noe Martinez - We hired him. He ended up painting the whole exterior of the house, and the interior moldings - a great deal and quality work. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture... When it comes time to do our kitchen counters; I'm calling the Winstons -and honestly, that'll probably be the only call I make -why bother wasting time with others. Another extremely satisfied customer.

We had a great experience with Winston Floors. We had several other estimates, but chose Winston - partly because of the many good Angie's List reviews, and partly because we appreciated the friendly professionalism and attention to detail by Bob Winston when he came over to discuss our needs. We felt he really listened to what we wanted, and offered suggestions beyond the samples he first brought in. (Several of the earlier reps from companies that did estimates didn't seem to want to trouble themselves beyond their first suggestions.) Bob told us it would be a few weeks before installation could take place, but was actually able to get us on the schedule earlier than we expected, in addition to working around my husband's work schedule so he could be home to help with the packing/moving of items. The installers did a fabulous job. It is clear they cared about doing things right. The carpet we chose was white, which made it even more of a challenge, but they did a great job keeping it clean as they worked. Rain was predicted for the days of installation, so the installers came the afternoon before to measure the rooms, cut the pieces to general sizes for each room, and store the carpet rolled up in the living room to be ready for the next morning's install.Since we were replacing carpeting in our entire home (except for the kitchen and 1 bathroom), and we had a massive amount of books/bookshelves in every room, the job was huge. We moved accessories, the carpet installers moved major pieces of furniture, etc. As a piece of advice for future carpet buyers, the more you can do to pack up your smaller items/bedding ahead of time, the smoother and faster the install will go. If we hadn't done the prep work, things would have taken MUCH longer. We still weren't sure they'd be able to finish such a big job in two days, but they stayed till the job was done...till around 9 PM the 2nd day. They did a wonderful job replacing the furniture, putting beds back together and cleaning up. We LOVE our new carpet and would highly recommend Winston Floors.

The experience was average. I liked the fact that they were available to meet prior to the installation and they had a good variety of products. They were flexible in letting me keep products and they worked with me with actually ordering some of the material that I wanted to install myself. What I did not like is the installers, which I had never met before, showed up at my house without the project manager. I did not like that but, other than that, it was a good experience; I would say above average experience.

Everything went very well. I was nervouse about matching the existing wood flooring but it all came out fine. Winston Floors has an experienced eye.

The project went very well. The area re-modeled was almost 700 sq. ft. of flooring and required 2 full slabs of granite. Bob and Kim were great - Bob has a lot of good ideas and was very helpful with the selection of granite and flooring. We 'love' the flooring - the varied widths give the floor so much personality. The crews (granite & flooring) were a pleasure to have in our home - they worked efficiently, were polite and considerate. We especially appreciated Bob's willingness to work around our rather crazy summer schedule

Project went along on schedule, and the Team knew what they were doing from start to finish. They always cleaned up at day's end, and always told us what time they would return in the morning. The shower is a much improved design (more water leak proof), and has a beautiful look. Winston Flooring did what they said they would do. A class act!
