We've bought/sold a few houses over the years and this was by far the best experience we've had with selling our home/house. Brent had a buyer for our place about 5 days after it went on the market and we closed about three weeks later and this was late in the year/fall season. We couldn't ask for better results. Brent is an excellent communicator he always kept us updated. If you need a realtor Brent has the experience and feel for the market that you can trust.

Brent lived up to the accolades. We are moving from Missouri to Dallas. We would come in to Dallas on the weekends. Brent would set up multiple home showings for Saturday. We would go to opens on Sundays and he offered to go with us to those. This went on ALL summer long and although we saw dozens of homes, we never felt pressured to "hurry up and pick one". We totally changed directions several times and Brent just said "No problem" and tweaked the search again and again. We did find a great house and Brent was there through the difficult closing process. We suggest you talk to Brent BEFORE you get your mortgage - he can give you some guidance that might spare you some pain (we wish we had done that!) This was a very good experience and we recommend Brent to other members.

In February 2018, Brent was my realtor in purchasing a new home and he was terrific. A review of that sale has previously been listed and knowing that I would be selling a home in the following months, I knew Brent would be the one to help me do so. Brent is knowledgeable, professional and goes way above and beyond. My home received multiple offers the first weekend it was listed. To all potential buyers who have read reviews on other realtors and who have read the reviews on The Rice Group -can you determine the reason why I selected Brent Rice to help search for our home? I will share with you the reason if you have not discovered it by the time you have finished reading this review. Right after the first of the year, I sent an email inquiry to a realtor requesting an appointment to begin my search. This was because of reviews listed on Angie's List and because the realtor was local in the city where I wanted to move. I waited about a week and still no response. Rather than following up, I looked again on AL and sent an inquiry to Brent Rice. IMMEDIATELY I received a reply and things just got better from then on. Brent took the time to listen to what my spouse and I were looking for and set me up to view listings as soon as they hit the market. We initially met at a home that needed a lot of work - photos can be deceiving. At my request, he called another realtor about a coming soon listing and lucky us, because of Brent, we were able to purchase what we wanted in the selected neighborhood and price range. Closing was yesterday, 2/26 and we will soon be in our forever homes because we are retired. Brent has been responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls from day one, although I strived not to bother him too much on Sundays as that is family time. But in the real estate business, family time is coordinated with business time. Because we bought a home prior to selling one, I will not have anyone else other than Brent to sell for us. I used Brent Rice of the Rice Group and it was an amazing experience! I needed to sell my mother's townhouse after she went into assisted living. Brent kindly and skillfully walked me through the process of preparing the home for sale, staging it for dramatic appeal and the showing process. I have worked in the past with Brent when he listed my home for rent. He did an excellent job taking pictures and quickly finding people to rent my home. Then, when it came to selling the same home, he went above and beyond the many obstacles encountered to make the sale happen. He did so much more than what a typical agent would do. He did an excellent job listing my home. We had several offers by the weekend that the listing went live. We picked what seemed to be the best candidates but ran into so many obstacles with their loan approval. There were several times when we thought the sale was not going to happen, but Brent was persistent and kept the sale alive. He was so proactive that he also executed the tasks normally done by the buyer’s or their agent. When the buyer’s lender was not providing timely and accurate information, Brent escalated to the bank district and regional managers and would not let the sale die. In addition, Brent took care of managing different issues that came up with the home and helped me greatly as I was long distance and could not take care of the issues myself. The experience and professionalism from Brent Rice was terrific. Inclement weather damaged our house and delayed our close as we neared our move in date, but Brent was there to help us through it. We also experienced challenges and contract disputes with the builder, and Brent's knowledge on the process of buying a home provided us a liaison that could bridge the gap between buyer and builder. Brent also continues to work for us long after our close by tying up loose ends with the builder and helping with property tax concerns. We started our home search in February 2016 with the hopes of finding a good home by May 2016... when our second child was due. We didn't know much about buying a home, but we had met Brent before when looking for a rental house, and after meeting him, we knew we could trust him to help us in this journey. The area we were mainly looking at was an hour away from where Brent was located, but he had no problem driving out with us to look at multiple houses. He also responded very quickly to all our calls and texts when we needed advice.
