24 hr answering service answered at 5:30 in the morning. They promised a call back from a plumber. It wasnt even 5 minutes later that Randy called and assured me he could get a plumber to my house shortly to replace a ruptured hot water heater. The plumbers were dispatched and at my home within 3 hours of speaking to Randy. My water heaters were both 13 years old. I went ahead and had them change both out to avoid having to go thru another flooded garage situation in the near future. They removed both units and installed 2 new ones , both 50 gals, they installed drain pans and piping, and at my request an auto shut off. The price was fair, 3k out the door for everything including labor. I would use them again and would not hesitate recommending them as well. Polite, punctual, fair priced, and expedient. Very good & the guys were very nice

My elderly mother and I have very limited income, and this emergency arose at a time when we had no way to pay a plumber. I tried everything I could think of to clear it on my own, but nothing worked. In desperation, I chose Staggs Plumbing at random from a Google search and called to see if they might let me ask one of their plumbers about the chemicals I had used, and what might be safe to try next. Staggs stepped right up. Their plumber Matt spent almost half an hour on the phone with me, talking me through the steps I needed to take. Both he and the receptionist were so kind and reassuring. My panic faded away. And then there was that wonderful moment of ffflussshhh! Matt fixed the problem by remote control -- that's just how good he is! 😁 This could have been a crushing financial blow, even if we had been able to finance the work at all. But these two Staggs Plumbing employees saved us, just out of the goodness of their hearts. And someday, when I can afford the other, non-emergency plumbing work we need, I look forward to calling Staggs again. These are genuinely good people!

Replaced my very old water heater with a new tankless model. The installation was done quickly, and the installer stayed to help me understand how it works. Later, had a very minor problem, and they came out to help me with it for no charge. I've been using Staggs for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and their prompt attention.

I am not usually so impressed with contractors that I would be inclined to write a review, but Staggs Plumbing is an exception. The water heater installation was a challenge, as the unit sat on a platform above the dryer in a very small laundry room. Jeff and Perry did the initial install and were on time, professional, respectful, and answered all questions. And even though the area was complicated to maneuver, there was NO collateral damage sustained. As it is sometimes the case, the following day a problem was noticed (gurgling sounds). I called and they sent Matt and Juan out within an hour. After intensive investigating, they determined that the problem was with the tank itself. They replaced it without any qualms, excuses or arguments. Believe me, this was certainly a small miracle in itself. The owner, Randy also came out to assess the situation; he too was very helpful in resolving the issue. I should mention, that when Matt and Juan started working on the problem, Matt said to me, “we will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied with the work”, what contractor says that, and actually is honest to their word, in my experience, none. Randy stood behind the declaration, and in the end I was completely satisfied. I also need to mention the fine customer care I received from Tiffany. She stayed on top of the situation and was always patient and respectful. Staggs Plumbing certainly did A+ work and I would highly recommend them. I called, Tiffany at Skaggs answered immediately. This was Friday afternoon. I had already called The Big 3 that are on TV, they were busy until next week. Tiffany was able to send Matt and Juan out within 1 hour. They worked for 2 hours, removed some sheetrock but was able to locate and fix my broken pipe. They were Very Polite,Fast,Good Clean Up and A Very Good Price. Thanks a Lot, Job Appreciated.

Arrived on time gave me an estimate with details of what would be done. Showed up the next day and was very professional. Laid down drop cloths to protect the floors. Explained what we could expect, then did what they said they would do and cleaned up. Then brought me in to inspect their work. All at a fair price.

They were prompt in showing up. We already knew where the leaks were so this part was already done for them. The real issue here is what they charged for about an hour and half to 2 hour job. They charged me $1800.00 which is $900.00 per hour. I repeat $900.00 per hour - yes - they totally took advantage of my unfortunate situation due to the leaks that needed immediate attention. I will never call this company again.

Went very well. They referred us immediately to a clean up team that came in to clean up the mess from the flooding around that area and told us to contact our insurance company. I thought the price for new water heater was a little high, and they kept trying to upsell us to more expensive units with more bells and whistles. However, overall, very professional service.

Staggs team showed up promptly on time. They send a helpful text when they were on the way. The team was very professional to interact with. The person who scheduled the service call couldn't tell me what the estimated charge would be, only that it would be $75 for a service call and that would be put towards the service if I chose to have the work done. There was very much set rates once the team arrived that we could have been told. They even mentioned they don't do jobs by the hour, only by the task (which seems lucrative for them). The on site team did the work quickly and with good quality. They explained the possible things that could go wrong and expressed repeatedly what they weren't liable for. The plumber had the job done promptly, in under half an hour. The price included all parts (a $10 faucet and some foam to insulate the pipe). While I appreciate the skill that allowed them to do the job quickly, I really would have prefered to pay hourly for this job. $295 for a 20-25 min job (including all the explanation to me of what they would do) does seem a bit rich... but maybe I'm being cheap. Overall I would use them again. But only if they disclose their standard rate. $75 dollars to hear they charge $295 is very unfortunate. I understand if rates change once on site, but there's little risk in saying "It will probably be $295" when I call the office to schedule.

Had been advised there was a problem with water heater pilot. They came out and checked it and found it was functioning properly. Could have replaced it and I'd never known. Appreciate their honesty.

Junior and Matt were extremely professional and able to resolve my issue at a lower number than the initial quote. The jack and jill bathroom sink had an odor so they replaced the p trap and cleaned out the condensate lines. I would definitely use them again.

Staggs Plumbing was extremely responsive to my service call and very helpful in answering my questions. They provided upfront pricing for the repair at the time of the estimate. Josh and Matt walked me through each option that we had for repair of our slab leak. Staggs Plumbing did a great job in the repair that involved tunneling under the foundation to reach the leak. Josh oversaw the repair work and ensured that everything was done efficiently and accurately.

I had called another plumber that wouldn’t be available until the next day, so I tried Staggs because they had good reviews. I was definitely glad that I did. They came out right on time, explained what they thought was the problem (blockage to the septic tank) and how much it would cost. They were able to get everything fixed up in less than an hour and they were very polite and helpful. They will be my go-to plumbers from now on.

Josh was as professional as you can ask for and absolutely fair. Thought I had a leak under foundation but they just changed out cartridges in shower. Also replaced 30 yr hot water heater same day....fair price...then came back to the door after already paying to return $120 he accifdentally overcharged. Definitely recommend these guys. Josh was our tech but seems like a top notch outfit all around. So pleased I’m waiting on a bid for toilet & shower upgrade/ remodel.

The two plumbers from Staggs Plumbing did a good job removing the toilet and charged $310.00 for both its removal and for a return visit to replace it. However, upon returning for the replacement phase, they claimed that the floor installers had removed the flange, when they shouldn't have, and that the flange was sitting too high to ensure the stability of the toilet. We agreed that they should just reinstall the flange and proceed with the replacement of the toilet. When attempting to reinstall the flange, they broke it and then had to charge me for a new flange. They also determined that the fill valve and flapper needed to be replaced. The entire price for the second visit came to $600.00 a very high price for the work accomplished. The $310.00 for the initial work plus the $600.00 for the follow-on visit resulted in a total charge of $910.00.

From the time I called, the plumber was at my home and had completed the work within 45 minutes. Josh was punctual and very professional. Extremely pleased with this company and will use again.

They did a good job but it was very expensive.

I called Staggs Plumbing at 8:00 am and he was able to drop by that morning to disconnect the gas line. Was very professional. I will definitely use Staggs Plumbing again.
