Salesman showed up on time & was very courteous. Estimate stated job would take 3 days. Job started a few days later & finished in two days. We emphasized that the workers be very careful of our plants, shrubs, etc. & to clean up at the end of each day.

Very easy to work with and professional to deal with the team.

They were punctual and professional. I was pleased with the quality of the service provided and the work has held up.

I was not happy with them. Their prices were reasonable. I felt that the prep work could be better. They spray painted over cobb webs or something. They pressure washed everything and two guys came back to paint. I noticed that the pressure washing had not gotten all the corners and cobb webs down. To me, it seems like if they had a dry brush they could have just knocked it down and you have to be able to see that when you are painting. You are looking where you are painting so to me prep work could have been improved.

The final work was fine but they had to come back and fix their initial work. They didn't check to see if the area had completely dried out before starting the work. So they performed the work but a day later, a yellowish stain had developed from moisture. They did come out immediately and fixed this but I felt like this is something they should have been aware of. The patch in the ceiling was so/so - you could tell where they did the patch although I think it is hard to make a patch in the ceiling and it not show.

They were very good, professional, honest and forthright. They were really sharp and were very comprehensive in their approach. They did a superior job. They were little on the expensive side, but they were really good for professional painting job. If I had the money to pay them to get the painting job done right now, then I would probably have selected them. They call the people who come out as sales people, but they are consultants who look over your whole situation. They take care of the measurements and are very thorough. I can?t say enough good things about them. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

The response to the call was fast, service good and the job was done well.

The experience with them turned out great. We took off and got three bids. They came in and did a good job of painting that. Their price was a little higher but it was worth the price actually because they went far & above than what they would have done normally. We have already used them twice and would use them again if needed. They were outstanding more than what we had expected so we would highly recommend them.

They were on time. They did a good job. There are no relishes with the work that I can see.

Judy at Southern Painting has been an excellent partner in the completion of this work. From choosing color to getting the best teams in while working nicely with our schedule.

The painters showed up on time, finished before the estimated date, and were very friendly and respectful. I have two young children and this was very important to me. The did an excellent job with minimal mess.

The painters arrived on time and completed work in 2-1/2 hours. However, within two hours after they left, part of the area they repaired began peeling. They came back the next day and scraped a much larger chunk of old acoustic material and then resprayed and repainted. This time everything adhered and the ceiling looks great. This was a challenge because the ceiling is 24 years old. We would have wished they could have gotten it done the first time out, but they were quick to respond and we are satisfied with the results.

Worst painting company in town, I don't know how they are still in business: Their marketing materials state there will be an English speaking foreman on site, we were left with several non-English speakers for a full day. They broke a valance. Prep work wasn't done correctly so the work needed to be redone in less than a year. The painters also cleaned their brushes in my lawn managing to kill a shrub. I contacted them regarding these problems and they didn't care. Follow up: Southern Painting is LYING in their response to my complaint. Their English speaking foreman was NOT PRESENT ON THE JOB SITE FOR A FULL DAY!!! On Day 2, he did leave to go get supplies (leaving me with not English speakers on site), but on Day 1.

They did my entire house a few years ago, and they did an amazing job that's why I called them back. The crew was very polite and cleaned up well after themselves. They asked if they could stay later just to get ahead. They worked well with me. I don't think I could of got a better crew. The sales lady is super too.

Did not use - did not respond to a second request for interior quote.

I couldn't have been happier with the results--and I'm very picky! Dave (the estimator) was punctual, professional, and friendly--he even returned to work directly with me & the crew to ensure the texturing would be precisely what I wanted. The crew was also very professional--right on time--and took great care with every detail (many kudos to Reina for her outstanding management of the project!). The crew moved the furniture, neatly covered every surface (furniture, floors, carpeting, shower area, paths from the front door, down the hall and to the master suite, cabinets, spa area, etc.) with protective covering, and performed all work extremely well and to a level of perfection that met even MY very strict standards. The company sent out Kathy, (extremely personable!) to check the status and performance of the crew each day and to ensure my satisfaction. Clean up was outstanding--and they did in 3 days what would take most companies over a week to perform if done as well!

From the start to the exit things went as Judy and the painting crew said it would. There were no surprises, they took care of our things as if they were their own. They even helped me re-arrange a couple of rooms when they put it back. It was a very positive experience and we highly recommend Southern.

Southern has excellent workmanship as my house looks great! The job was finished exactly when I was told it would be. The only minor complaint I had was the workers were slightly messy with their waste. The job was finished completely in three days.

The painting work looks good with texture nice, consistent, and smooth on both the garage door and the front door. However, when they painted the garage door, they locked it and did not unlock it when they were done. When I got home and tried to raise the garage door, the door became damaged and I had to call a garage door repair company to come fix it. I called Southern Painting to inform them of the facts of the situation, but they refused to pay for the damage to the garage door (they said I was supposed to know that it was locked before attempting to raise it). I personally don't agree, but I suppose others could form different conclusions.

Owner Steve MacMeeken canceled day of appointment. Rescheduled. Owner got to home too late to do estimate on exterior (dark). Promised to do and leave estimate while I was out of town for holidays. Had 12 days to do and did not. Called owner upon my return. Hard to reach owner. Not responsive. Called him Monday of this week (4 days ago). No call back. Poor responsiveness. Poor service. I will not be a repeat customer as I had hoped. Would not recommend.

Late for estimate, late for work. Called at 8.30 pm to state would be starting work following morning at 8.30 a.m., but did not show up on time and did not give courtesy call. Arrived at 10 a.m. Work was done hastily, uneven. Drip marks on door, paint on front entry way and sidewalk were left to be cleaned by owner. The final bill was $200 plus more than estimate. They were fast and they were cheap, so I can honestly say I got what I paid for.

The crew arrived on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up after themselves. We are pleased with the quality of the work provided.

SOMETIMES IT'S A LITTLE HARD TO GET AHOLD OF THE MAN RUNNING THE COMPANY, BECAUSE HE'S ON ANOTHER JOB. IT MAY BE A DAY, BUT HE WILL CALL YOU BACK.

LUIS AND HIS ASSOCIATE DID A GREAT JOB (VERY NICE, WONDERFUL PAINTING JOB) HOWEVER, BEWARE OF THEIR SCHEDULING - ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE ONLY HAVING THEM DO A ''SMALL'' (ONE ROOM) JOB. WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A ONE DAY JOB, TURNED INTO A 2 (ACTUALLY 4 DAY JOB) DAY JOB AND I WAS PUT-OFF TWICE, DUE TO THEIR OTHER SCHEDULING CONFLICTS (AS WELL AS 2 CONFLICTS OF MY OWN). BUT THERE'S NO WAY I COULD HAVE COMPLETED THE JOB ON MY OWN AND AM GLAD TO HAVE PAID THEM TO DO IT. THEY PUT THE BLINDS BACK UP, PROTECTED MY FURNITURE AND CARPET VERY WELL AND I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULT.
