Southern Painting Collin County

We have used Southern Painting on various occasions over the last 20 years and would never consider using any other company - they specialize in residential painting and only use high-quality paint. When we moved to an existing home in McKinney, we planned everything with Christian and he walked us through everything and was great in his communication with us, before-during-after the job. William was the crew Supervisor and he and his crew painted the outside of our 1.5 story home. Additionally, they cleaned, sanded, primed, and painted the 350-foot wrought iron fence around our property. They were prompt, meticulous, providing detailed workmanship. I was home the entire 2-days, and they worked tirelessly in making sure everything was done with excellence. I always wait a few weeks before writing a review, and we are not surprised with the continued expertise and pleasure of working with Southern Painting. Be sure to ask for Christian, and William and his crew ... WELL DONE!

We had a great personal experience with Southern Painting. They painted our exterior awhile back and just painted our interior which required A LOT of furniture moving/covering and prep work. They did an excellent job. They were very meticulous. The price was competitive. The company has been in business for over 30 years and the crews have been with the company 25+ years. The company is insured and bonded. This definitely gave me peace of mind. I hired them based on their strong references. Ask for Christian. Christian and his crews will not disappoint!

Could not have been better. From the estimates they were open to doing what we needed done. Prices were right. Crew was on time and worked hard. The job looks great.

The crew were professional but the sales person (Alexis Garcia) was a big joke! Never picks up the phone and always had lame excuses. So disrespectful person.

The Southern painting team (Eric, Christian, and Luis) were outstanding. No gimmick sales pitch or deception in what was promised. Prep work was completed with upmost care -pressure washing, caulking, replacing moist boards, protecting landscape, etc. Painting quality was very professional.

I've never been more motivated to write a review about a company. Southern Painting is the real deal! We obtained 8 bids for our home painting project. When Alexis from Southern Painting came by, I told my husband that night that I really hoped they would give us a reasonable bid because I was so impressed with him personally. He was warm, professional, and knowledgeable. I knew I would feel comfortable placing the project in his hands. They weren't the lowest bidder or the highest bidder, but they were fair and reasonable with their bid. I'm so glad we went with them! Alexis and his team were prompt the morning of. Alicin, Nicholas, and Daniel made a fabulous team! They got right to work, taping the trim and covering the floors to protect them. They worked carefully, and wasted no time. Even when we switched paint colors mid-stream, they didn't blink an eye. We were very impressed with their work in the end! Can't say enough about Alexis, this team of painters, and this company! Outstanding. We will use them again!

They did an excellent job. This was the second time they painted my home. It was painted twelve years ago. They completed all the items we agreed on in the estimate.

They're good work is why I used them for interior painting. I like they are local. They have been around for a long time. The pricing always seems to be fair.

They came when they said they would. I'm going to use them again for the interior. They were fast and they did what they said they were going to do. It took 2 days - one day to prep and the next day to paint. It's a 2 story house which is mostly brick. I thought it was awesome. I've never seen prep work like they did. They had all that paper taped to the house so it didn't get on the brick. I couldn't believe that and I hoped it wouldn't rain with all that paper and tape on the house. They cleaned up and you would never have known they were there. They were fine and I plan on using them again. They were highly recommended to me.

The crew did a professional job and completed the work in a day and one-half. They covered their walkways over carpet up stairs and across a bedroom with plastic and finished the job without any damage to our home. They hung plastic over cabinets, the tub and a lavatory to minimize splatter from their texturing and painting and to avoid having to clean those items. Both rooms were left clean and ready to use. I would use the crew again.

I didn't go with them because I wanted some other estimates. But the other people I chose to get estimates from never came out. They were were really nice and very throughout abut I just wanted some more estimates. Whenever I contacted them they came out within days. They were really good with coming out. Like I said, when I contacted them they were very professional, they provided a lot of good information. Its just that I needed more estimates, I just didn't get that. I was interested on getting the siding replaced on the exterior of my patio. They provided a written estimate. The guy who came out to do an assessment on the job, he explained a lot of stuff to me. He did a really good job. I have no complaints with them its just that the estimate was like almost $4000, and I just needed some more estimates. I just didn't get those. So i decided to table that project for now because I need my shower done. Thats my priority. They responded the same day I called them. They called me back the same day and they came out in 2 days to gave me the estimate. The guy was on time, matter of fact he was a little bit early. Extremely professional. He was very good and very professional. Also the people I talked to on the phone were extremely professional. They are a class act company I just didn't want to pay $4000 for my home. I would haev let them do the job then but I couldn't do it.

They were able to fit us in right away so I was very happy about that.

There were a couple little things that I wasn't too happy about, but they did a pretty good job overall.

They were on time and completed it quickly. Overall pleased with the service.

It took 2 days and was good per se. I had to call them back to pop the screens and paint part of the windows that they skipped.
