Awesome!! Called John (& 2 other highly rated AL contractors) on a Saturday, thinking I needed major repairs for my 14-year old dryer. John was the 1st to respond and was extremely nice & knowledgeable. He took all the info needed to order parts and called me back on Monday to schedule a service visit. In the interim, I had actually resolved the dryer issue (which had been due to my own stupidity), but I decided it would be a good idea to have him come out to check it, and to replace the old fill hoses for the washer. He was punctual, extremely nice, VERY knowledgeable and expert. He verified that the dryer was fine and then expertly replaced the washer fill hoses. Fast, clean worker, very pleasant to chat with, very expert. Very reasonable charge. Highly recommend John for any appliance work!

Called John and I told him the problem I was having. Made the appointment. John arrived during the appointment window and quickly diagnosed the problem (Teflon coating in ice maker peeling, allowing water to escape from ice maker). He had the proper replacement with him and installed it just a few minutes. Less than 4 hours later, the first batch of ice cubes emptied into the bin. We are "happy campers". I will not hesitate to call John's Appliance Repair for any future appliance repairs I might need

Service was wonderful. I called him yesterday and told him my Microwave was just dead. No power nothing. John said he could come tomorrow. I wanted afternoon. John gave me two time choices. 1-3 or 3-5. I chose 1-3. He was here at 1 . He knew exactly what he needed to do. Told me that he would first replace the fuse and switch. If it went out again it means it needs a new Board. Didn't want to put a new board in if I didn't need one. Wrote down my model number in case it goes dead again. Just call he won't have to come out until he orders the part. He said there was no point in putting a new board in if it is just a fuse and switch. Really nice very professionaland very fast.

He was pretty good and I got him from Angie's List. I used his service two weeks ago. It went really well. He was really punctual and very professional. He seemed to know what he was doing. He came to my house, looked at my refrigerator and knew right away what was wrong. He replaced the part and he really tried to keep the cost down for me. He called for the replacement part right away while he was at my house and said he would be back that weekend to replace it for me. He was very punctual and very quick. He was very clean. I'm very happy with his service. $209 for an old refrigerator seems to be a little high.

Overall, great examination and detail of what was wrong and what it could cost to repair.

I have a Jenn Air gas range and I thought that my gas flow may be a little weak. The technician came out on time, and inspected all of the burners and said that all was working well. I will use these folks again.

Michael arrived at the appointed time, diagnosed a broken lid switch, and replaced the switch. He was polite and professional.

I called on a Thursday and explained that the dryer drum had quit turning. I had looked on the internet to see what to do but decided that I did not want to try. I called another place but they did not want to give me an extimate unless I paid for a service call first. John gave me an estimate of $140.00. On Saturday, they came out and began the repair, Belt was off instead of broken but because of the age of the dryer, I chose to replace the belt. He replaced it in minutes and it was worked great. I highly recommend these people as they are honest and good at what they do. I will be using them again.

He tried the cheapest culprit first, the starter, and warned me ahead of time that if it didn't work, then it was the compressor. The starter wasn't the issue, so he packed the new part back up. He told me that given the price of a new compressor, along with labor and freon recovery, my best bet is to forgo the repair and purchase another inexpensive unit for the garage. He took the time to explain that with the heat in the area, this is a common issue for refrigerators in garages and that my best bet is to purchase another new one so that I can save on disposal fees for the old unit. Even though this unit wasn't worth repairing, I appreciated his honesty and information and will definitely call him again when we need other appliances repaired.

Came out same day we called, had the repair part on hand, made the repair and was done. Second time we have used John, will call again next time we have a major appliance problem.

I called early Thursday morning. A repairman came to my house that afternoon. While I elected not to do the repair, he was honest in helping me evaluate whether to invest in a repair or a new dishwasher. The Advice: priceless!

Technician removed grill (that manufacturer told me could not be removed). He removed stuck filter with a screwdriver. He then cleaned the coils with vacuum cleaner. He explained how to replace it and how to detect when it needed to be replaced. He showed me how to clear the filter after installing it. He also checked my dishwasher filter and showed me how to check it and keep it clean. He checked my outside vent from my vent a hood and referred me to a service to look at it.

He was very good. He was reasonably priced and came when he said he would come. He fixed the problem and gave us a quote for fixing another problem that we had for quite a while. We were pretty happy with him. He came, checked it all out and found that there was a little piece of something down in one of the motor parts that were causing it to make the sound. He had to work a long time to find it so I was pretty impressed. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't afraid to let him in my house.

John came out to look at an old standing refrigerator to look at the feasibility of getting it going again. It had been out of order for over two years. He recommended that we replace it as the repairs would be over 600.00 and he could not give a long warranty to go with it as other parts regularly fail after the replacement parts are installed.. A new one would be about 800.00 to 1100 for a similar new refrigerator from several local vendors. We decided not to do anything on the refrigerator and just get the new one. He also looked at a leaky Front loading Whirlpool Washing machine. It seems the pliable liner Gasket needed to be replaced (about every 5 years) since it had 4-5 holes in it from pens, keys , under-wires, etc. John left ordering the part and waited until it arrived on Tuesday to contact me. he sent his partner out to replace it on Wednesday morning. Works fine. Received a bill for above amount which include the part (expensive part) a replacement clamp (improved over the original for 30.00 and the labor.(minor). They did not charge for the work on the refrigerator to do the work at all and he had to take the back off and run several tests in order to do the estimate. Since all of the work was done on the Washing machine. I would not have blamed him for charging me the service charge for the estimate on the refrigerator, but It seems they just don't do business that way. They were always pleasant and professional and they know what they are doing. It would have taken me hours to replace that part if I could have done it at all. Well worth the money and enjoyed seeing an excellent example of customer service. It was also enjoyable to see someone who wasn't concerned with charging you for every little thing and is more concerned about a fair price and return business and word of mouth advertising. These things have become a lost art in today's world. Experiencing them as I did I would be glad to call the people at John's appliance friends and would recommend them to anyone.

The person I called diagnosted the problem over the phone, a clogged drain. He said I could probably save the cost of the repair by unplugging the unit and moving it out side for a few hours to thaw the ice in the drain tubing. I was familar with this problem and fix, but at my age, I didn't want the hassle of emptying the refrigerator and moving it. But the fact that they suggested a way to avoid any cost, speaks to the integrity of the company. The repairman arrived on time, completed the repair in 30 minutes using a power steamer. It has been several weeks now, and I have had no problems.

John was easy to contact and an appointment was made within a day. He came out and explained some things to us we should have known, frankly, and discussed the noisy Bosch dishwasher. He believed it was probably a motor issue, which would have been a major repair. As the issue was mainly noise, we all agreed it probably made sense to simply live with it. John was pleasant, punctual and reasonable. You can't beat that.

John was friendly, informative, and quick. Overall it was a great experience. Will definitely use John's appliance again.

From the time he got here he was ready to work. He looked at the appliances I needed him to fix and gave me the gameplan. Now I have ice and I am so happy. He left within an hour of his arrival.

They were excellent. We got them from Angie's List. They came out promptly and took care of the problem. They were also reasonably priced.

Arrived within the time estimate. Was accompanied by trainee. Work was completed in timely manner. Technicians were friendly and helpful. Had to work around a failure that occurred during wash cycle.

The repairman examined the unit and gave us the choice to attempt a repair or to replace the motherboard. We opted for the less expensive repair and it is working great again. I really appreciate having a knowledgeable technician able to do board level troubleshooting rather than a component replacer (lf we had used a GE serviceman they would have replaced the board and it would have been 2x-3x the cost).

John came by personally and looked at the appliance. A part needed to be special ordered, and he said it woudl be in on Tuesday. Sure enough, he came back right on time on Tuesday to replace the part and now the dishwasher works like new. I can't say enough good things about John's. I will use them again in the future.

The guys showed up on time. They examined the dishwasher and determined the problem. They needed to order the part and return another day. The next time they came, I had only a small window of time before work. They stayed aware of the time, and made sure they left on time, even though a complication arose and it meant they were going to need to return another day. They watched the time even without me asking them to! They were friendly, smart, efficient and fun to talk to.

The techinician Aaron took time to explain exactly what went was wrong, what he could do to fix it and was patient going over the better to fix or replace issue with me. Was helping a new technician and both were very polite.
