Description of Work: Repaired leaking roof on my home

Description of Work: They sealed and redid the edges of our flat roof in hopes of sealing a leak. Only a heavy will tell whether they got it, but their whole way of doing business was impressive, and I have a hunch that if they did not get the leak that they'll come back again until they succeed in stopping it.

Description of Work: Replaced entire dwelling roof with class IV impact resistant shingles and all new gutters and downspouts with leaf guards. Actually did the work while we were travelling, so weren't bothered with installation noise. Got home to a great looking roof and we're looking forward to discount from home insurer with class IV installation. Alan Helsley did a wonderful job of walking me through the insurance process. Couldn't ask for better work from any other roofing contractor and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Description of Work: Helsley completed a total re-roofing project on two houses for me in late September/early October of 2013. David was a consummate professional, very knowledgeable in both the business and construction aspects of the job; he also responded promptly to any communication from me and was willing and able to provide detailed answers to my questions. Materials were delivered when promised; the workmen arrived at the scheduled time and performed well as a team, working steadily and efficiently until the job was complete. Careful clean-up was also done. |They did a great job, and the look of both houses is definitely improved. I would certainly use Helsley again.

Description of Work: Alan actually redid my roof in 1994 and again (weather related) in 2003; he 7 his crews are the consummate professionals. Alan even stopped by to inspect my roof in 2011 after another nasty spell of North Texas weather & reassured me everything was A-OK. Description of Work: On the third occurance of sections of my ridge shingles blowing off, I decided to enlist Angie's List to find a contractor. David Havenor responded to my call, made a suggestion that 70 feet of my ridge shingles be removed and replaced on the west and south sides of my roof. He made me a turn-key price of $545. Within an hour of his leaving my home, I called him and approved the job to be done. He said the work would be done either that afternoon or the next morning. Two bundles of shingles were left in my driveway that same day and while I was gone the next morning, I left my gate open and when I returned in the afternoon, the work had been done. Fantastic work! No evidence that anything had ever happened except my new ridge shingles just look great. David called to confirm that all was well. We agreed that he would come over the next morning to pick up Helsley's check. He came over the next morning, went up on the roof to do a follow-up inspection, collected the check for $545, left me a 'paid' invoice and left. What a great experience!

Description of Work: Called the company to get an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was very polite, and seemed thorough. She said a rep would get back to me within 48 hours. I did not hear back for over a week, so I called company again, and spoke to the same woman, and she was again very polite, and apologized. The rep called the next day, and left a message on house phone as I was not home. I called him back, leaving a message on his phone with general info on our guttering problems and needs, and also left my cell # and home # again. I never heard back from him.

Description of Work: After the storm that hit Allen in late April my roof was totaled by the insurance company. Helsley came out and estimated the roof size and all the materials needed. They worked within the amount that the insurance had placed as the claim and the work was done in 2 full days. The Helsley crew worked on installing the roof were very professional and precise.

Description of Work: Helsley Roofing was very professional and actually recommended how we could repair the leak in our chimney with virtually no cost to us. They did however, replace a skylight that was cracked in the bathroom. They did an excellent job. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We had a family room built on the the house 10 yrs ago. The roof was leaking we could see water stains on the walls. They removed the rolled roofing form dead valley. Installed torchdown roofing and new shingles. Hauled way all debris and cleaned up.
