This company is very professional and easy to work with. I received my free estimate in record time even though it was freezing outside(day after our ice storm). The repairs were agreed to and finished completely on schedule.

I feel satisfied with them. They did the work in a day. They had a whole lot of people working on the roof. The manager came back personally to make sure they didn't leave any nails behind. They picked it up with a magnet to make sure they didn't leave any debris behind. You really get what you pay for. It isn't the cheapest job in the world. But it is really high quality. They showed me different colors of shingles so that I could choose from. They even told me a shingle company to go visit before I finalized.

From start to finish, Helsley Roofing provided an incredibly customer-centered service experience. All company contact was handled by Scott Copeland. He answered every question I had. He made sure to update us on the progress of the project and showed tremendous flexibility with our vacation schedule. The crew was highly experienced. Since all of my neighbors needed new roofs due to the hail storm, and I was able to compare the quality of work and workmanship. Helsley was head and shoulders above the others. Even my neighbors noticed Helsley provided a higher level of service and quality product. Helsley also replaced a gutter they damaged slightly during installation of the roof. It was already banged up form the hail, but they replaced it without my even having to ask.

Bob called a couple of days after leaving a message, arrived when he said he would, gave me a written estimate on the spot. When I decided 2-3 weeks later to get it done, the guy was out doing it the very next day.

I called Helsley & Mark Stevens called within a day or two. After a brief description of the work needed, he scheduled a time to come out the following week. After I decided to use them, they had the materials delivered with a couple of days & began the work the following Monday. The main roof was done within 2 days. Since they were re-building the ceiling & roof over my patio, they had to order cedar that was out of stock. When it was delivered, they finished up the job the following day. The main roof looks great and the patio roof, which had been leaking with the cedar rotting out prior to the work, looks awesome. They used torch applied modified bitumen on the patio roof due to the lack of pitch. Hopefully, I won't need another roof for a long time, but if I do, they will be the first company I call. They were great!

They were dependable and conscientious. They had good workmanship, they were respectful and on time. After the initial assessment they came did the work and sent me a bill and I didn't have to be around to supervise.

He was on time, had given me an estimate, told me the day they were going to work and they came. The manager had come out and checked the work as the process was going. They had laid tarp on the ground and threw the old roofing onto it and hauled it away. They made sure the underlay of the shingles were over the roof before they left the first day just in case it had rained. They were very informative, and they had cleaned up really well.

The process was as you would expect. I felt that the bidding, work and clean-up proceeded as you would expect.

The proposal was very detailed and the accompanying information was very helpful. We were pleased with the attention given to all of the flashing. New drip edge was also installed. We are pleased with the new roof. The ridge vents were not initially installed correctly, but they made the needed corrections. I was impressed by their eagerness to make certain the job was done to my satisfaction.

Mark returned my call promptly. We made an appointment and he came on time. He was friendly and very professional. We felt confident he knew what he was talking about. The work was done in a timely manner and the worker who did it was professional and tidy. We feel the job was very well done. I also feel if there was a problem, they would be right back out to make it right.

Inspection base price is $125, no explanation was given for the additional $75 charge. Inspection took less than 1 hr and no written report was given at the time of inspection; only an invoice and a bid for the repairs. Inspector identified a drainage issue on the left side of the roof. When asked what could be done to rectify the problem, the inspector said he did not know. After the inspection, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the cost of the inspection to the inspector, but no resolution was met. I called the main office the next day to express my dissatisfaction of the price and quality of the inspection. No resolution was met on the price, but was given a 2 paragraph letter summarizing what the inspector found. Helsley sub-contracts out all of their work. In fact, there are only 2 people on the Helsley payroll. This could explain why they were unable or unwilling to reduce my inspection. The inspector that inspected the roof was Bob Chapman.

The estimate was given the same day of the call. They performed the work before the estimated date (during a period of frequent rains). Left no trace of their presence and we didn't even have to be home for the work to be performed. They left us a letter of the work performed which also included the one year guarantee. Excellent!

I had a hard time initially getting someone to return my service call for gutter work. I worked with JP on some roof repair and he was extremely responsive. Roughly a week or so later after leaving a message, I received a call back from John Fisher to schedule a time for him to come out and write up a work order. The work order was completed and I authorized the work in early June. With all the rain we had in June, the repairs were delayed and not completed until early August. I was always following up to see when the work was going to be completed during this process. I felt like I should have been kept in the loop and not having to constantly call for an update. Once the job was completed, I was not totally pleased. It was not until early September that the job was completed to my satisfaction.

The utility mast on our roof was tilted and required straightening. Company provided an estimate, then reattached the mast and the shingles surrounding it. Also caulked around a leaking roof vent. Work was completed by a single individual in less than an hour, using existing materials except for caulk, making the $485 price tag rather steep.

The roofing guy they sent came out promptly, but we didn't have any roofing issues. Still waiting for a call back from the gutter specialist they said would contact us.

I thought the price was a little high for the amount of work that was done, but they did do a good job.

Perfect and I am VERY PICKY (seldom does a contractor impress me)!!!! No kidding not a single complaint. Start to finish. The crew that Alan sent out was clean cut, professional, and a pleasure to have work at my home.

Hensley did a great job for us. They responded quickly to my first call and came out on Saturday at the time promised to inspect the damage and submit a bid. After reviewing the bids another was $500 I called back that evening and received a call with a commitment to do the repairs on Monday or Tuesday. When I returned home on Monday evening the job was complete. The area was completely clean of old roofing material total cost was as quoted. The invoice was mailed to me with 2 days. Very satisfied with Helsley

Came out promptly for a free estimate, and then did work when they said they would, within a couple of days after giving the estimate. Did a very good job matching the color of the shingles.

I called Helsley at 8:00 AM on Monday morning, because I knew the downpour would bring in lots of business. I have a steep roof, and so the dispatcher said, he didn't want to send anyone out until the next day, so things could dry up a little bit. However, Mark, the job estimator, came out late Monday afternoon. The sun had been out for a few hours and things were dry, he said he would rather get ahead of the business, even though it was almost 6:00, rather than waiting until Tuesday. Fine by me! He said they have a fixed minimum price of $325 for shingle repairs, took a look at my damage and said it was not going to be a problem, but he didn't know how long, I was going to have to wait for repairs. He expected it to be at least a few days, but no more than 10. To my surprise, Mark himself came out the next morning and did the work, so my total downtime was only one day. The job looks good, won't know for sure until the next downpour, but the work has a one year warranty.

Alan came over and gave me good information and a fair price quote for the work. The work was done when promised, and they cleaned up behind themselves. We were very happy with the job done.

On time for estimate. Agreed on price and he got supplies and dropped off that day. He advised would be fixed in 3 days. He then advised he would inspect and bill me. I have not yet received a bill, but the work has been performed. Very polite, on time, priced right & prompt on repair. Excellent.

Our sales rep, J.P. Southard, was very courteous and worked around our schedule. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend this company to everyone. Very professional and trustworthy.
