The three man crew did excellent work, were very professional and on time. The tree was close to the fence and 15 feet from the corner of the house. We would highly recommend them for any tree removal or trimming project. They had a truck to shred the limbs and cleaned up the yard. Highest recommendation!!!

This was a $599 big deal purchase. We weren't particularly happy. They came out and had two people working. They submitted a bid for a much larger job. The next day they showed up and cut some other stuff down and then sent me an additional bill without my consent. When I asked them about it they said they assumed I wanted it done. I told them I didn't so and I asked them to negate the charges. It was not a pleasant experience, to say the least. I happened to like the guy. He had his wife with him and she was very pushy. I think they kind of duped us a little bit. They sent me a document to sign, which I never returned to them signed and they did the work anyway. I told them we had not agreed to the extra work because I had not returned the document signed. For whatever they said they were going to do they did okay. That was not bad. I expected them to do more because they did not get much done that day. They said they were going to come back the next day to do what they did not do so they brought some additional equipment and did some more work without my approval. As far as price, they ended up doing what they said they were going to do, so I was fine with that. I was real surprised that they sent me a bill for the extra work. It was about $900. I thought they did good quality, were very careful and did a good job. They came out about a week or two after I bought the deal.

We never got the consultation. It took a long time for it to get done, but it got done. It was a couple of weeks. They said they were going out of the country and then they didn't go out of the country but they didn't come. Finally the head tree cutter came and he did a marvelous job. It was a marvelous job once they got there. I really felt like they could have done a little better.

Would definitely recommend the company and David for his personalized service.

Crew arrived on time. Tree trimming was done efficiently and clean up and haul away was done. They did a good job with the trees and left the yard very clean. Will use them again.

The services provided were excellent and everyone has commented that the job done was superb. The trees will be in good shape for years to come.

Took a few e mails to get the appointment scheduled. The job was done at the same time as the initial meeting. He did a good job making sure the trees and branches that I wanted to remove were removed. The crew did a good job removing the branches, small trees. Cleaned up the backyard well including leaves in the swimming pool. Backyard looks good!!

When the crew arrived the leader said that additional services were required and that he would not do the work unless we agreed to pay for the additional services. We did not agree and the crew left. Angie's List provided us with a refund for the coupon that we had purchased.

They did a pretty good job. They were a little slower than I thought. They said their wood chipper thing was broken. So they didn't have that. But, to make up for that, he brought four guys instead of three. They cleaned up really well. They were very thorough and efficient. We ended up buying two extra hours to get what we got done. We were very satisfied with the job they did. They told me that they would be there at eight o'clock that morning and they showed up at 10.

They arrived on time and worked diligently and professionally. Very pleased with the results.

Great they were very through

I was given a violation by the city of Plano for having tree branches over hanging my alley under 14 feet and threated with citation if I did not have resolved less than a week from notice. I put out a request through Angie List Snap Fix to fix the tree. They put me in touch with David Williams and they were fast to contact me. They were very easy to work with and very knowledgeable on how to cut my trees. After agreeing to work and price, their crew went to work and an awesome job! They cleaned up after themselves and could not tell they had ben there except the trimmed trees they left behind. Their price was very reasonable for the work involved. The next time I need any tree work they will be my first call.

Purchased a Big Deal for three hours with 3 man crew and arborist. David came out to look at the scope of work. He estimated around 8 hours so I went ahead and requested 3 more hours knowing that it would be short of his 8 hour estimate. We talked through the parts that were important and he also recommended two (I guess, I thought it was one but ended up being two) structural reinforcing rods for one tree in front. Overall the initial $600 spend turned into $1380. The crew came out and were very professional, friendly and got right to work. This crew was the best part of our experience by far. They completed 6 hours plus a lunch and the areas they worked on look really good. One thing I found strange was the despite David and I talking about leaving a few of the dead stump/trunks for the aesthetics, the crew didn't touch one entire tree that was full of dead leaves. It sticks out and looks really odd. My only was to explain it (since when I spoke to David's office they basically said "well he told you 8 hours and you only bought 6") is if I went to get a haircut and the stylist was short on time, you wouldn't expect him/her to leave one section of hair totally untouched and manacure the rest. The next sunrise was that when we set aside the time for service, I was never told that the bracing rod would not happen at the same time. I was only told it was not included in the price of the hourly tree service. So as the crew was leaving I asked about the rod and they said David would be by later that day or tomorrow to complete. Since he was to come by, I told the crew I would pay David for the service when he came by. David did not show up either day. A few days later his office called asking for payment. I explained what happened and that I was still waiting on the bracing rod. She said they would find out when David could come out. A day or two later David's wife called with an initially unpleasant tone stating that the rods weren't included (which I was aware of) and that I needed to pay for the crew service. I told her that I was looking to pay cash and that it made sense to pay David when he came by to finish the job. She said he would come by "probably Tuesday but for sure "Wednesday" if I have my days correct. Needless to say he didn't come either day. I actually received a text saying he would be there between specific hours, so we made sure to be home, and no show. We were headed out of town so I let them know... They finally sent a team about 45 minutes before we were scheduled to leave on a trip so they could make sure to get the money. Obviously their scheduling does not take into account any inconvenience on their customers. Anyway, despite the miscommunication, multiple missed appointments, and off putting tone... The work itself was fine. I would like to work with them again but I don't think it's worth the aggravation. I wish this was a little more positive, but these are just the facts.

Excellent. David and Julie came out to inspect afterwards. Evidently my husband had asked the crew to throw some of the cut wood onto the side of the deck...however, there was a weak point that buckled. David and Julie helped me clear those pieces off the deck and my husband and I repaired it that weekend. This company was wonderful to work with. I would use them again.

I emailed a picture and they responded very quickly. We set up the date and time and they were here as promised. They did a great job cleaning up my tree, trimming away all the dead branches and the low hanging ones. Very professional, they also explained how to keep the tree healthy and happy. I would definitely recommend them.

The guys doing the work were terrific and very thorough. We did not understand that the original deal was only for 4 hours (at $200/hr) so we discussed before they even started that we would need to purchase 2 additional hours. When it came time to settle up, they added $99. in tax on top of the deal (6 hours x 0.0825%). We were never informed there would be tax added on. We have never been asked to pay the tax on any Angie's deals for services before. This needs to be explained clearly in the deal, if that is going to be tacked on at the time of service. In the end, they didn't charge us because we were so adamant that this was not part of the deal.

They called to schedule a date and a couple days before they called to say they couldn't do it on that day. The following day was when they wanted to reschedule, but I couldn't do it that day. So, they called another client that was scheduled for 2 days out and changed the days so they could do the work for me two days after the original scheduled date, which I appreciated. I met with David who was very nice and we walked through the yard and talked about exactly what needed to be done. At the end of the day, everything looked nice and we were happy with the work that was done. About a week and a half later, we had a bad storm and one of the trees that was trimmed was hanging down on the side almost touching some small bushes next to it. The only thing I could think of was the branch that was hanging down must have been leaning over the fence and was knocked to the other side of the fence when the storm hit. I sent an email to David, and Julie responded, asking me if we could talk on the phone. I had to leave a message on the voicemail when I called and told them both in the email and on the voicemail that it was one of the trees they worked on, not a new tree! Julie sent another email saying they would try to get me in at the end of the week, that they were not out our way very often, and asked again if it was one of the trees they had originally worked on....I replied, "yes it was" again! They did not show up at the end of the week and I sent another email. Once again she said she would try to fit me in at the end of the week, they did not come at the end of the week again. I called on the following Monday and sent an email asking if they were ever going to come out and trim the branch off the tree? I finally got a response when they sent a young man to cut the branch off the tree that week. I'm writing all this because I felt like Julie did not believe me when I told her about the tree, I felt like she thought we were trying to take advantage of them, which was not true. We paid more than $1200 to have the work done and didn't think we would get such a hard time asking them to come back and fix it! I understand about scheduling and if they needed to wait a little while, that was OK, but she just kept telling me they would be there and then they didn't show up, which was frustrating. I gave them a B as an overall score because I really liked David and thought he was very knowledgeable, I just had to write this because of the all the difficulties we had after the work was performed.

Provider was responsive to questions and setting up appointment. Worked around my schedule. Very professional team especially tree trimmer. Picked up all debris. Would recommend their services.

David, his wife and crew are extremely professional and great at what they do. Communication was excellent, they got us scheduled in a timely fashion and showed up on time. David is very knowledgeable and provided wonderful insight into the trees on our property. I purchased the Angie's list deal but needed a bit more work so I happily paid the difference. The work that was done was excellent, professional and clean. They cleaned up everything, the trees look great and I feel better knowing my trees don't have dead limbs and branches in them anymore. They removed an eyesore of an overgrown bush/tree that was over 6 feet tall and quite wide. My yard looks so much better. I would recommend David and his team without hesitation. I will definitely use their services again.

From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. I was able to communicate with the office by text to schedule, which is a huge plus. David, the arborist, arrived at my house and spent 30 minutes with me reviewing my trees and hedges, giving me helpful advice and making sure he understood the work I wanted done. Then he brought his crew and got to work. My palm tree looks great! The crew did an excellent job cleaning up and was very courteous. I definitely will use David and his crew in the future.
