Description of Work: Not what I expected. Cut up trees n front too much. Did not do trimming enough on others.

Description of Work: Trimmed two large live oaks and cleared canopies from smaller trees grwoing into them. Analyzed Red Oak future work. Dave was very thorough in explaining things that needed to be done. Their chipper was broken, so they had to use a trailer to haul away debris, but since it was large item pickup week, agreed to have city haul some limbs away in exchange for a little extra work. Charge by the houd (most other companies we used provided estimates for specific work), and price was reasonable when compared to them.

Description of Work: The crew led by owner, David, trimmed the green oak trees around my home. David met with me to discuss exactly what I wanted accomplished in the three hour service call. Then he and the crew exceeded my expectations! They had time left to take out a dead tree and trim a pear tree in the backyard. I have had other arborists trim my trees and none did a better job than this crew. They provided quality service at an reasonable cost and removed all of the debris from the trimming. This was my first experience using Angie's List and it was great. I would definitely recommend D & J to other Angie members.

Description of Work: Fantastic tree service. I rarely feel I get what I pay for, in regards to tree trimming, but this crew was excellent. I paid for 7 hours of tree trimming and they were there all day and trimmed everything I wanted. I would highly recommend David and his professional crew and will use them again.

Description of Work: I contracted through Angie's list for the initial work but have 15 trees so they did what they could in the front yard (what I asked...) I needed additional work so hired them to complete the job. They did great work and left my property clean and debris-free. I will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: David & his crew removed a tree that was mostly dead & did it quickly & efficiently. Then they cleaned up the area very well & hauled the debris away. I was very impressed with the skill involved & the professionalism of this crew. I will have them come back for another job I have in mind & feel very comfortable hiring them. I give them 5 stars!

Description of Work: Arborist expertly pruned three trees with no damage to surrounding shrubs and flowers and completely removed all debris. He also made recommendations for additional work to maintain the future health of the trees.

Description of Work: The provider diagnosed two large trees. One was rotten and had to be cut down. They did a good job -- no harm to yard, fence or home structures -- and ground down the stump. The other tree was saved with some cable. The lower score on responsiveness is because we asked him for a statement that the rotten tree was obviously rotten and had been for a long time (NOT disclosed by previous owner)and although he agreed, we have not received the statement.
