Response from D&J Arborist Tree Services
Hi [Member name removed], I am especially disappointed that your experience of our crew and the services we provided you to be that of your posting. Addressing your comment that our crew looked like the Key Stone Kops, this could have occurred while they were removing your Silver Maple and discovered a large bee hive in the cavity of the tree. The bees became angry, we were removing their home, and swarmed our crew forcing the team to cease working at your property to avoid any serious damage from bee stings. They probably did look pretty funny running from the swarming bees. We removed the bee hive from your property and started again on the second day. David Williams and I came out the following Saturday of your scheduled work, to inspect the job and install the bracing rods; this is a specialty of David’s and you can have peace of mind that your tree is more secure today. I observed that our team executed Class 2 pruning on the Live Oak (front yard), Red Oak, Cedar Elm and the Silver Maple removal was performed to expectations. The Live Oak in your backyard also met expectations of Class 2 pruning; I observed that the clean-up was pristine as well. Due to the number of trees you had pruned, the tree removal, installing the bracing rods and the bee hive delay there was no way to complete this job in one day. David and I own the company 100%, quality of workmanship and best practices are of the utmost importance to us. Obviously somewhere in our process of working with you at your property there was a disconnect and I am terribly sorry for that because we are about quality and our reputation is all we have to build our business on. We will provide you with an estimate to grind your stump and I apologize that I did not follow up to get that done for you. Sincerely, Julie Williams
