Description of Work: Repaired cracks in mortar in two places on my home and replaced one cracked brick. Also remortared one loose electrical outlet in the bricks on my patio. Bruce and a helper spent 1.5 hours doing this work and matched the color of my mortar perfectly. I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Bruce and Steve repaired stress cracks and voids in the exterior brick veneer caused by age and the stress from a foundation repair. They also power washed and sealed 2 areas of brickwork and repaired plus sealed our brick mailbox. Lastly they fixed 2 corners of our foundation that were cracked from the foundation issue. The guys did excellent work. They are masters at matching the mortar. The house looks awesome. I would definitely use them again for any brick work repairs.

Description of Work: There was a large crack in the brick wall, a few bricks were leaning out that needed to be straightened a large gap near top of brick and replacement of mortar between bricks caused by water. They did an awesome job and very impressed and pleased once work was completed! I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to refer them to friends and neighbors!

Description of Work: Mr. Douglas's work is impecable. The result repair to our broken up front exposure facade, looks completely origional as if nothing happened to it in the first place. I handed him his check before he started to work, knowing that this is his specialty and there were not going to be any surprises. He cleaned up every bit of debris, I am impressed, I picked the right guy.

Description of Work: He followed up on some brickwork I had to have done due to some water damage, to make sure it was pointed. Our house is about 20 years old now and I built it with antique brick so now sometimes some of the brick cement comes out. He went over the whole house and tore out any place there was any loose concrete between the bricks. Fixed it back up again. When he finished he cleaned the brick over, were we had the water damage. He also sprayed a seal on the brick for additional protection.

 + -1 moreI called Bruce and left a message and he called me back that same day. We played phone tag for a couple days but each day he attempted to contact me. He was able to give me a quote over the phone, and once we decided to go forward with the work came out that same day. It took him no more than two hours. He removed the top of our brick mailbox and replaced the two mailboxes inside. He did a fantastic job. Unless you know that the mailboxes were replaced you cannot tell any work was done. He kept to his quote and the mailboxes were included, so I didn't have to hunt those down ahead of time.

 + -1 moreI contacted Bruce Douglas on Friday morning by leaving a message on his voice-mail. We traded messages twice that day. He drove by our home that day to inspect the mailbox and leave his business card. That evening we were able to make contact to finalize the estimate for the work we wanted done. Bruce and his helper arrived on Saturday afternoon and had the job completed in just a few hours. Since we wanted to install a larger box, more labor was involved to enlarge the space. If we had only wanted the same size box, the cost would have been $175., but our project was $300 & well worth it. Bruce supplied all of the materials (the mailbox, too) for that price. He was very prompt and professional, and cleaned up the area on completion of the project.
Description of Work: The rusted out metal mailbox was replaced in a brick mailbox unit. We decided to install a larger box because we receive a lot of big pieces of mail & the smaller box was not satisfactory.

 + -1 moreThe overall job went very smoothly. Mr. Douglas explained in detail the job that would be done and he followed that per his detailed explanation. There were no surprises. He showed up exactly when he said he would and was very careful in cleaning up and removing all debris, including the old mailbox.
Description of Work: Mr. Douglas installed a locking mailbox which we purchased from Acme Brick Company. The job entailed knocking down and removing the existing stucco mailbox and rebuilding a stucco mailbox for the new mailbox. He built the platform and surrounding support using cinder block to ensure that it was sturdy and up a minimum of three inches per manufacturers specification so that the mailbox won't rust. After the initial structure was built, he came back to apply the outer stucco coats to match our home.
