I have been using them for 3 years. They always inform me of what is happening and they give an honest estimate of the charges. They always call me to inform as when they will come to check the system.

Came on time, very professional. Refill the Freon.

My renter called with AC problems. I went over to check the obvious problems. I went over but was unable to track down the problem at 10:00 AM I gave up, went to Angies list and searched for an A rated HVAC company. It has been a week of 100 + degree days so everyone was backed up. Heather told me she could have someone there between 1:00 and 7:00. I said OK but continued searching hoping for a more definite earlier time slot as I had a class to teach at 2:00. at noon Heather called me back and said if I could meet their tech there in 20 minutes we could get her done! Work was complete at 1:00, I made my class, renter is happy!

This was my first time to use Angie?s list, and I was very please with my first experience. From start to finished Air Today were on their game. I was originally placed way down on the list, but they were able to work me in due to cancellations. The tech, Chris, was early, polite and professional the entire time. I was impressed with Chris?s attention to keeping our floors clean and explaining every step of the process. This was just a trail run and both Angie and Air Today have passed the first test. Two thumbs up for a job well done, I will be back for more.

As a result of a routine inspection on my 17-year old Lennox heating unit, I discovered that the heat exchanger had a 2-3" crack. After some discussion of alternatives I concluded replacing the whole furnace was the best course. Being a horizontal attic unit it seemed logical to also replace the A/C evaporator coil and to some extent, the outdoor compressor/condensing unit even though it was newer (12-years old). Having pretty good experience with Lennox, I sought to replace it with another Lennox unit. The company that performed the inspection was an authorized Lennox dealer and listed on Angie's List with an A rating so I had them bid the job. In discussions with the sales representative, I discovered that Amana offered a lifetime guarantee on its heat exchanger (the thingy that had gone out) and the compressor. I saw this as a great advantage over the Lennox guarantee so I decided to switch to Amana. The company quoted me the Amana unit, which caused sticker shock. We pursued alternatives like not replacing the outdoor unit and using slightly used outdoor equipment, but the price was still pretty steep. Using Angie's List, I identified two more Amana dealers with A ratings and called them for a quote. Air Today also quoted me the alternative of not replacing the outdoor unit, which allowed me to do some financial analysis on this alternative. I concluded that within 3-4 years, replacing the outdoor unit would pay for itself by the additional savings obtained by using less energy. I decided to proceed with a complete replacement. I made sure each of these companies quoted the same equipment so an apple-to-apple comparison could be made. They all did an excellent job in working up quotes and addressing all my requirements that I laid on them. Being an engineer I expected the job to be done right and they each rose to the challenge and assured me that they did only professional work. Based on Angie's ratings, I truly believed each would do so. Using the quotes, I found there was over a $3,000 spread. The high bidder and next lower bidder were on the high end ($9595 and $8075). Air Today clearly came in with the lowest bid! They guaranteed I would be satisfied and since its standard policy is not to collect any payment until the job is done, I was absolutely convinced they intended to do a top-notch job. They willing agreed to a 3-page addendum I worked up and included with the work authorization to address various details not fully spelled out on the WA, like liability insurance requirements, specific equipment to be provided, etc.. They did an great job of accommodating this demanding person's requirement and an excellent job of installing the equipment. The installers Brian, Jeremy and the supervisor Steve were just great to work with and did very professional work. The Owner Danny stopped by to see how it was going and did a great job of coming up with the right solution for the return airflow problem.

Estimator arrived on time and gave a 10% discount for Angie's List mention. I made the decision to use Air Today after receiving three quotes. I called to schedule the work two months after original estimate and they were able to retrieve the quote details immediately. The work was scheduled at my convenience and they sent two crews to get it all finished in two days (6 hours the first day and 4 hours the second day). The crews arrived on time, laid down drop cloths everywhere they were walking in the house. They installed two units on the first day and one on the second. The work involved removing the old (leaking) coils and plenums, the outside condenser and slab. They leveled the area for the new slab and installed the new larger condensers in approximately the same space. The work area outside was cleaned of all debris. The teams installed the new coils and plenums. They attached all existing duct work to the new plenums and sealed everything. The installers captured all the old R-22 (Freon) gas; purged the refrigerant lines and added the R-410A (Puron) gas. They installed new touchscreen digital thermostats and cleaned up all the work areas. Finally they tested the AC and heat for proper operation. I'm very pleased with Air Today's work. They delivered everything they promised, arrived with the correct equipment, finished on time, and charged exactly the price on their quote.

Went well. They were with in the time frame given, 11-3. They did call to let me know they were on the way. He took at a look at the unit that was having a slight vibration. While he was not able to pinpoint what was causing that, he did suggest that it might need to be rehung. As that would cost close to 500+ dollars, I did not do that. However as he was showing me that, it must have settled the system, as the vibration is now gone. He than did a system check for me, as I was behind on getting it checked out. I also purchased a service agreement at that time, so they waved the 89 dollar service fee, which I thought was nice of them as it was not required for them to. The tech was very helpful, and took the time to show me a few things on the system.

Overall it went pretty well. I was without A/C at the time and they were able to get it installed on the scheduled day although the equipment was late from the supplier's warehouse. This made for a very long day for them, but they got it done. The UV light didn't work at first due to a defect in the housing for the light. However, they returned and replaced it in a timely manner. They were on time for all appointments - sales, installation, replacement of the UV light. It is a great system and I'm very happy with it.

The company I originally worked with was not available and I needed some one to come out. I called Air today. They came, diagnosed the problem as being a Freon leak and said I had to replace the coils. I had my doubts and waited for the company I originally used and they said all I needed to do was change my air filter. I had my air filter changed and now it works much better! They were nice and I am not sure why they diagnosed the problem incorrectly.

They had replaced a heating system in January, they came back to replace the cooling system before the hotter days arrived. This house was a remodel and Steve Critz gave me estimates to repair each the cooling and heating system. Since I plan to retire here, he and I went over the possibilities and cost of repair or purchase of each, and I decided to replace with the Infinity System. The owner Danny, Steve and two of the installers were here most of the day. They try there best not to cause a mess and do great work. The two installers were here for replacing both the heating and cooling system--really great guys. They knew I got them from Angie's List and I got a 10% discount.

We had trouble with another company misdiagnosing our A/C problems. Air Today was able to correctly diagnose our problem, work with our home mortgage provider, and fix our A/C correctly the first time. The technician was polite, courteous, and was careful not to track any mud inside.

This was a service call because my air handler was leaking water. Needless to say when they left it was still leaking water and I just received an expensive estimate and an expensive bill for a service call. The technician did not know why my air handler was leaking water and was not willing to figure it out. He just recommend replacing the whole system (BAD ADVICE). The company did not do anything. Another company came out right away and less than 10 minutes figured out a p-trap (drain line) was blocked and need to be unblocked for $55.00. It was fixed immediately.

Our AC system had stopped working and been advised by anther company that we needed a new condenser. We called Air Today for a second opinion. Danny Feemster arrived 1 hour after we called (exactly as promised.) He diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and replaced it for $150-$200. This obviously saved us $1000s! I cannot recommend him and the company highly enough.

The contractor was very professional. He did not perform any work other than just looking at my unit which was functioning fine. He gave me the option to make any repairs. He was honest and followed-up with me as promised.

Their price was not the lowest, but was the lowest that we felt good about. It was thousands lower than most estimates. It is nice to deal with the owner. They try hard to be on time and let you know when they will be there. They know their business and every employee was an experienced professional. Maintenance and repair is their main business and they are top notch. Very straight forward and no "hocus pocus".

We were extremely pleased. Danny with Air Today went above and beyond in serving our needs. He came out immediately on a weekday evening to evaluate the problem and was able to start on the project right away. He did excellent work, installed a great product, and was extremely courteous and mindful of our house. I would recommend him/his company to anyone in need of HVAC service, maintenance, repair, or replacement.

I recieved a call about 15 minutes later from their office, asking if it would be okay to install the next day(Saturday), which they did using the same guidelines of 3hour window and a 30 minute ''heads up'' call. The technician was very friendly and courteous. He explained what he was doing and seemed very knowledgeable. His service was very careful with safety in mind not only to himself, but to the residence and my self who was watching him.
