Very nicely. Air Today has always provided excellent service. We've used them for over 10 years and have always been very pleased with their punctuality, professionalism and their price. They have never given us bad advice just to earn a buck. We had them out for 2 reasons. First, to inspect our heating system to ensure it was safe to operate. We bought their yearly inspection program which covers us for 2 inspections per year at $278. This also entitles us to certain discounts. Secondly, we had a roof installation coming and I was worried about the location of our ducts being so close to the roof. We had our ducts inspected by another company and they estimated we needed about $8,000 worth of duct work done. After Air Today looked over the system and inspected our ducts, they told us that there was nothing wrong, that all ducts were operating just fine. I also requested Air Today to tell me if any of my ducts needed rerouting for either air flow, or for the roof installation. Air Today said that nothing was needed and that they would do it if I insisted, but they didn't see a need, that the ducts were operating just fine and had great air flow. And finally, I asked for an estimate to install an additional duct in one of our bedrooms. He explained the cost to do that, and we found it very reasonable (a few hundred). We will do that when it's more convenient for our wallet.

HAD TO REPLACE AC UNIT OUTSIDE CONDENSER/COMPRESSOR AND INSIDE COILS. WORKING FINE NOW. TOO BAD COULD NOT REPLACE/RECHARGE WOULD HAVE SAVED ME A COUPLE GRAND.

They spent a long time to give us a fair estimate on what it would cost to replace a unit that had completely gone out. They were the first ones to come out and they came out right away. They told me so much about what was going on and why. I had to call them to tell them they were not going to use you and they were like Oh that's fine. We're all about customer service. They were so nice and kind and understanding about it. In this day and age people are miffed if you tell them that or just real short. They were so nice. They are just so friendly. It is really truly run by the people that own it. It is more than just a company to them.

One of the owners names is Aimee Carson Butts. I was expecting it to be a humongous expense. They could have told me the whole unit was going out because it was banging and the fan was clanging and it was keeping us up all night. It was an old thing. This husband and wife run this company and they are very generous with their expertise and their advice for people that are having problems on how to fix it inexpensively or what to do to prevent it. They really are a company that will come out in the middle of the night. They will come immediately when you have a problem. They are very honest and fair. We were leasing our house when I called them about that repair. Another unit in the other house went out and I got them to come out and give the landlord an estimate. He has his own people but their estimate was right there if not a little less. I'm sure if I called another company it would have been a couple thousand dollars. When you call they are the nicest people. When anyone calls and asks if I have a recommendation for heating and air I said oh yes I do. They are top notch. They came out almost immediately. In that business they can get away with a lot with an old unit and they just told me exactly what was going on and it worked beautifully after that. They are easy to work with and when you call they act like you are the most important person in the world and that is rare.

Terrible! The technician came out and serviced my system and he notified me that he needed to add 1.5 pounds of Freon. After a couple of days the unit wasn't keeping up with the temperatures again. I called them back out and the 2nd technician informed me that he found a leak in the coil in the attic. The fee was to be an additional $1807 plus Freon to get it running properly again for a total of around $3K. I had scheduled A/T out to complete this work, and the morning the technician was to arrive, I questioned the warranty, and after a disagreement, (I was very frustrated based on previous experience with A/T), they decided not to perform the work. I contacted another company to come out and I asked that they perform a diagnostic to determine what, if anything, the problem with my system was- already feeling I knew the coil needed to be replaced. The new company performed a pressure and vacuum test and found the system had no leaks. Final determination was the system was 7 pounds low on Freon! I don't know where my Freon went to, but I know I would've spent $3K plus for a part that didn't need to be replaced! Good luck to anyone that would use Air Today and if you do- get a second opinion on high dollar repairs!

Fine ..very professional USed them before

I called based on a reference. Iris picked up and quickly put me on the schedule for that day. Before I hung up, she noted that if I was available earlier, she could move me up. I said, "move me up." Cody arrived, early - nice, and listened to my problem. He was in the attic 2 minutes and came down with the problem completely fixed. He laughed and said that he had installed the units a year or so ago. The house owner at the time asked him to install a damper, at the actual furnace, for the three rooms. She was hot in the winter and cold in the summer. Who would have guessed! I appreciated his honesty and from talking to him the company owners value honesty as well. He could have spun a tale of woe and I would not have known the difference. I will do business with them again, for sure.

It went great! The fellows (Cody and John) showed up right on time and did a great job of checking out the unit. They also changed the filter and confirmed I had installed a new thermostat correctly and even corrected a mistake I had made in the wiring. I was most pleased with their work and will always turn to Air Today first for heating and air conditioning service.

Kevin the tech is always punctual, very knowledgeable and patient with all of our "picky" request. Air Today has serviced our A/C and heating units for about 6 years. We have been able to depend on them each time. The staff is very attentive to our needs and always willing to work with us , especially Nicole. Highly recommend company.

Had noise coming from A/C unit and scheduled tune-up through my home warranty. Company assigned Air Today to complete the tune-up in April. By early June, noise came back and louder. Called Air Today to see if they would come back out to guarantee their work. However, due to being over a little over a month since they did the tune-up, I was advised that it would cost an additional service fee to come do a check-up. Decided to use another company to check out the a/c unit.

They are excellent. They take time off and double check on electronic parts on it and the filters just make sure everything is functioning on and still come twice a year in the fall and in the spring.

I was very happy with the service performed by Air Today on my A/C Unit. I called and requested an inspection of the A/C unit after it started acting intermittently. Several times the A/C unit shutoff for extended periods allowing the temperature to rise far above the high thermostat setting. The Air Today technician Kevin was very professional and was able to diagnose the problem quickly which was caused by a faulty thermostat. He replaced the old thermostat with a new programmable thermostat and then did a complete inspection of the A/C unit. The price for the work done was reasonable. I was very happy to get the problem resolved quickly the same day I called Air Today. Its not good to be without A/C in Dallas in August. Would recommend Air Today to others.

It was supposed to be a diagnosis of my AC Unit... I have water leaking from the evaporator coil.. The tech rerouted some of the drain lines, moved the pan around, PUT a bucket from my garage under where the leak was and left.. The next day, water started leaking into my ceiling.. When I called Brenda, the Owner, they stated this was not there problem and they told me to go back to the warranty company... This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with - stay away from these people they should not be in service..

Air Today has been our HVAC maintenance provider for just over 1 year now, and we did not hesitate to renew our service contract for the second year. Recently we experienced a system failure and called Air Today at 7pm on a Thursday evening. Our requested service technician was at our front door before Noon on Friday as promised when they returned our message early Friday morning. Air Today initially diagnosed our 10-12 yr old A/C system with a blown transformer and main board, which had been caused by an electrical short that occurred when a expansion foam was sprayed into the exterior wall opening where the electrical and cooling lines enter the home. Apparently the wires were frayed prior to when a non-HVAC contractor had administered the foam. As indicated above, Air Today performed the initial diagnostics on a Friday. Surprisingly the technicians (two gentlemen new to us but handpicked by our preferred technician) were able to come out on Saturday to perform the repairs. However...one thing lead to another so long story short... we decided to replace the entire system rather than invest in a less than efficient, failing system. Air Today was able to rearrange their scheduling and leverage their supplier relationship to the point where they arrived shortly after 10AM on Monday morning ready to install the new system. The 3-man crew had the top tier system up and running before they left later that evening as promised. The crew was professional and kept the work area clean, which we have come to expect with Air Today. The lead installer took the time to thoroughly answer all questions, explain all features (including all of the functionality of the wi-fi thermostat), and provide additional tips toward a more energy efficient home. I highly recommend Air Today for their performance as a service contractor. Their pricing is competitive, but more important is their responsiveness and overall customer focus.

I called Air Today this morning and explained that I needed a another opinion on the status of my havoc to satisfy a real estate deal today. They were so very accommodating and worked me in. I couldn't ask for better service! Plus they were so kind and understanding. I've used them before and would use them again.

Air Today was scheduled through home warranty company for a A/C tune-up. A/C tune up was fast. Identified capacitor on the fan was storing only 1/2 of its name plate, 3 Micro Farad and should have been 7.5 Micro Farad. Technician provided quote to change out capacitor, at a cost of $210.00. I agreed to the price as I had no idea what the cost of a capacitor should be, technician replaced capacitor in under a minute. I searched the price of a capacitor, the typical cost is ~$10-15. This is a mark up of approximately 1400%!!!! I agreed to the price and the replacement without searching the cost of the part or calling around, an EXPENSIVE mistake on my part.

We used the Home Warranty to get the issue fixed. I looked up on Angie's list and called in to have them select these guys to service us which they agreed to. The previous AC Service company that was assigned to us hadn't called us in 2 hours. After I called in and changed over to Air Today, they called within 10 mins of the actual request, now that's how great customer service and responsiveness works. She called me back again later letting me know that they will be at our house within 30 mins and they showed up right on time.

I had used Air Today before through a warranty service. The service is no longer in effect so I called Air Today. First, I called on a Saturday and had a great customer service experience...very pleasant person and happy to assist. They do Saturday calls at no additional cost over weekday. They were able to get me on the schedule for same day service for a heating unit that was not working. The super friendly person called me later with an estimated time of arrival. She called back later with an update to see if it would still work with my Saturday schedule. Received a third call to advise the tech was on the way. Excellent communication! The service tech was very knowledgeable about the technical side of the job and explained things in laymen terms. He was very good to answer my questions and gave examples of other customer's experiences and how they might apply to my a/c needs. The service was great and I learned the error of my ways....change the filters or it may create problems with the unit from lack of air flow.

My problem was not corrected on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd attempt. I was appreciative they did not give up, sent technicians out after hours, and eventually made the repair. I would probably call them again if The A/C needed repair.

Our furnace stopped working on Thursday December 12, 2013. We promptly called a different service provider (not Air Today), and the service provider quoted us over $600 to repair a faulty valve. Because we have a home warranty and the repair costs were estimated to be several hundred dollars, we decided to call our warranty company, and the warranty company assigned us to Air Today. Air Today came to our house on Friday, December 13, 2013. I do not usually write reviews, but I write specially here to thank Heather and Nicole at Air Today to working tirelessly to repair our furnace. Although it initially appeared that a furnace valve was malfunctioning (as diagnosed by Air Today and another service provider), it became evident later that we also had a faulty board in the furnace. The issue with our repair was the availability of a replacement valve. The supplier for the valve shipped it on Monday December 16, 2013. But because of a backlog at the UPS warehouses in the Dallas area, the part had still not arrived as of Thursday, December 19, 2013. We were having guests for Christmas arriving on December 20, 2013 (8 days after the furnace first broke), we asked Nicole and Heather at Air Today to do everything in their power to make sure our heat got fixed by then. Through their efforts and diligence in following up with the valve supplier, the replacement valve arrived on Friday. Air Today installed it, and when further testing also revealed a faulty board, they replaced it the same day. Now we have heat, it started working before our guests entered our home, and it continues to work. After eight days without heat in December, I was very grateful for their efforts. I do not know the cost of the repair, because it was covered by our home warranty.

Called for service and technician showed up later in the day. Had multiple diagnosed problems. Fan motor was locked up and the starter capacitor was the wrong unit. It seems a previous technician from another company had used the wrong capacitor which eventually led to the fan motor burning out. Fan motor was still under warranty (Trane has good warranty). So, Kevin changed the fan motor, installed a new correct capacitor, checked Freon and all was a go. Glad to get this done before the hot season. Air Today offers a service agreement which seems reasonably priced. They offered and at the time I did not sign up, but no pressure. Still thinking about signing up because it looks like it will prevent future problems. Thanks guys!

I have been using Air Today now for almost 2 years, and I am very happy with their service. Their service personal is friendly, clean AND very knowledgeable. I have a service contract with them to have my 2 AC units checked before the summer starts and before the winter starts. The last thing that I want is be without AC in the middle of summer or winter. I also had them UV lights installed in my AC units (mold prevention). Most recently, one of my 2 AC units stopped heating. The company found the problem (bad control board), but suggested that I use my home warranty service contractor to have it repaired to save money. That was a very nice thought, and it is one of the things that I like about AC Today. They are not pushy in trying to sell services. However, after meeting the home warranty contractor (NorthStar Mechancial) I had no faith in his abilities to fix my system properly. I decided to rather pay out of pocket and have Air Today fix it. They came first thing in the morning, very carefully exchanged the the control board, and now everything is working again. I highly recommend Air Today.

After calling multiple ac providers since our ac unit was not blowing cool air, air today was the most responsive and easiest to work with. The employees set up an appt time for a technician to come to our house in the afternoon and consistently keep in touch with us by calling to let us know where the technician was at and what time he would be on his way. When the technician arrived he was professional and informative, explaining to my husband what the issue was and how he corrected it. The best part was he was very genuine and did not try to sell us one thing. Every place we have used in the past was not professional and they were constantly trying to sell us something. It was a great experience and we will definitely refer them to friends and use them in the future. Great customer service.

Everything went fine. The only complaint was the pushing 500 bucks to get some Freon and stop leak. I do not see a good reason for the world to stop making Freon and start charging unrealistic prices for it.
