They did a very good job at a very reasonable price. We were afraid that we were going to be told the whole garage door had to be replaced and when they said no and they just had to order a panel that matches and replace it, we were extremely happy. The workers were very good.

The cost was 200-something and it looked a little shaky and he said that if it does not work, then we had to replace the motor and the 200-something dollars would apply. He was above average. He was fine. They could have come a little bit sooner. They are good. I would tell somebody about the service and its quality.

It went fine. I recall that I thought it was a little bit on the expensive side for what was done, but not bad at all. They did a good work. They're reliable. They've been around for a long time. The area was left clean.

It was awesome. They did a great job. The price was reasonable. They were very clear on explaining what needed to be done and giving me some options. They were quick in what they did and everything was fine.

I've always been pleased with their responsiveness and competent service. This time was no exception. Their prices may be somewhat higher than others, but it's worth it to me to get quality service.

It went very well. Action came over within a couple of hours of the call, had the correct equipment and completed the install within 30 minutes. The service technician was very professional and courteous. The issue was fixed in a jiffy. The price was a bit high, but I appreciated having the issue resolved quickly and efficiently.

We had a garage door that would not close on a Saturday morning and they arrived the same day, during the time frame they said they would, and preformed our service as expected. It was more expensive due to the after hours and emergency nature of the call, but they were the only one available same day who returned my call. I would use them again for emergency service.

They replaced the rollers, re-aligned the door, and fixed the cable. They told me that I didn't have to replace the rollers, but I knew that they were getting worn out, some of them with worn out bearings. They offered to replace them if I wished, but that the old ones would probably work for a little while longer. Since they already were here working on the door, I decided to spend a little extra now and replace the rollers to save them having to come out another time. It was a really good decision. The door closes quietly. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but them. They have worked for me a few times over the past 10 years. I don't call anyone else but them for all my garage door needs. I think they are the best in the business.

I made appointment with Action for next day. They arrived on time. Cory inspected and told me about the problems he saw. WHILE I WAS TALKING TO HIM my wife found the receipt from previous work we had done on the door by a different company. I was honest with Cory and told him I was going to step inside the house and call the other company in case their warranty was still in effect. He did not seem to mind a bit. No actual warranty from the other company, but they said they would come out and put cables back on (since nothing was actually broken) for about half what Action was going to charge. I told Cory and he actually seemed HAPPY that I was going to be able to save some money. He left an estimate in case the other company failed to show up. IF I EVER NEED ANY NEW WORK DONE these guys will be at the top of my list. I could not BELIEVE how professional and courteous Cory was even AFTER he learned he was going to make $0.00 from me today.

The company arrived timely and the garage door opener that was installed was installed correctly but the coupon that I was given was refused with bogus excuses such as "we already factor that in when we give a credit for the fee for the trip charge" or "we are hauling off the old materials and not charging a fee for that". Bottom line, they offer a coupon and then don't honor it.

I have done extensive research, and was warned against companies like this, but since they had installed a garage door opener for a friend recently and she was impressed with their professionalism, I figured I'd give it a shot. WRONG CHOICE. On the phone I spoke with Robert. I gave him the dimensions of my door and identified it as an uninsulated aluminum door. He told me the price for two springs installed would be $239.16 - he did make it very clear that price was for their "90 day warranty" springs, and the price would increase if I chose to go with multi-year or "lifetime" warranty springs. I've done my research and know "lifetime" warranty springs are a con job -- I should have run then. But I gave them a chance, especially since they could get someone out here today. I verified twice with Robert -- $239.16 is the total -- installed and completed for 90 day springs? There won't be any additional charges for service calls or anything else. He assured me, I could add to the order, but it would be $239.16, and the service rep would be here in 30 minutes to 45 minutes. **Side note -- Robert was VERY polite and professional on the phone. I was impressed, and felt like my misgivings were misguided. 1 hour and 10 minutes later, Cory showed up. He was also very polite, personable, and professional. I took him into the garage, and he immediately began making comments about "oh, that's a heavy door" (no, it's not.) "You've got some big springs up there..." etc. He shone a light on the springs and said "that's a brown and this is probably a red," looked at a chart in his book and suddenly my $239.16 price was $397.40. Yep, in less than 3 minutes we went up by $100. When I asked him about the difference he told me the $239 was only for the "bottom of the line" springs, and I "needed" higher quality springs which were more expensive. I thanked him kindly for his time, especially since it was the end of a day and he hadn't expected to come, and told him to have a nice afternoon. He tried to protest that I had misunderstood the original $239 estimate, and I told him I had several other companies that had given me a firm price, and I would go with them, but appreciated his time. He was nice, and left. I immediately called Action Doors to tell them I was disappointed in the bait and switch tactics, and the young woman who answered the phone listened to my explanation then said "OK, I'm sorry you feel that way. Have a good day." Polite -- but totally unhelpful. About 5 minutes later, as I started writing this review, things got significantly more irritating! Another gentleman from Action Doors called me and at first was very kind and polite, wanting me to know that Cory had let him know I decided not to go with them, and he wanted to find out "what we did wrong" and "if there is anything we can do to correct the situation." When I explained the cost Robert had originally quoted me and the difference in what Cory quoted, he became increasingly defensive and accusatory. He spoke over me, refused to listen, and repeatedly insisted that the price Robert had given me was "just an estimate, there is no way we can tell you what it will be until we look at the door. Cory knows doors, he knows how heavy the door is, and he knows what it will cost." When I tried to explain that multiple other companies had given me firm prices, he again talked over me, refusing to even let me finish a statement, raising his voice to continue to tell me how I "need" different springs, and the "90 day springs" I was quoted for "wouldn't even work on my door." I finally said "I'm sorry, are you really sitting here yelling at me and refusing to listen to me because I choose to go with another company??" He again started lecturing me on how "confused" I was. Bottom line -- If a company wants you to choose between "qualities" of springs, they are trying to rip you off. If a company quotes you one price, then raises it by $100 plus, they are trying to rip you off. Pay more attention to the negative reviews than I did, and stay away from Action Doors.

Went great. Jackie our salesman knew exactly what he was talking about. He didn't try to sell me more stuff than I needed. He even said a few options I wanted were not needed and saved me some money. Very friendly and easy going. Adam our tech who installed the door was also very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. The door and opener were installed in just under 2 hours. Very good workmanship.

The work has ALWAYS been done with excellence! They are prompt with scheduling; they're always very professional and courteous. Price is always reasonable. Customer service has always been excellent. There's no other service provider I'd choose. I trust them do always do the job well.
